  • Learn knife throwing - complete tutorial - all info you need to become a knife throwing champion
The nordic friends 🇸🇪🇫🇮 offer you a double tutorial on rotational knife throwing!
For the first time, The Swedish pro thrower Marcus Pehart (aka Soulthower.com) shares his teachings in a very detailed way.
In addition, Joel Holopainen, mainly known from no spin circles, gives a little different approach to rotational throwing. Marcus uses bigger knives with smaller throwing motion (American style) whereas Joel uses smaller knives with larger body movement (Russian style).
Here can you find his video!! • Rotational knife and a...
No comprehensive tutorials on rotational throwing has been made in english before. Maybe because people tend to think that rotational throwing is quite simple but it’s actually full of little details which can be honed for a lifetime to attain full mastery.

    Who am I?
I am a knifethrower, axe- tomahawkthrower and now also a slingshot shooter! But I identify as a soulthrower due to the fact that knife throwing and tomahawk throwing is good for my soul. I throw knives no spin, rotational and military halfspin. When you want to learn knifethrowing and/or tomahawk throwing you should do your research and look at many knifethrowing and tomahawkthrowing enthusiasts and re-search different throwing knives. One throwing knife can look good but doesn’t always fit you and/or your style of throwing. Try different knives and styles until you find your own way.
The most important thing about how to throw knives or a knife or how to throw a tomahawk is to do more of what ever works for you!
Now go throw and be a legend! 😊🤙
    Your throwing brother!

Thanks for your detailed tutorial on throwing. You save my time from concluding the tips from lots of failures. Just started the throwing inspired by Adam.
Currently practicing no-spin with Cold Steel Pro Flight Sport, which is 14 inches long and 317.5 grams of weight. The centre of mass is about in the middle. They are sturdy. Thinking got two more of those to form a set. Would you recommend me keep on this knife or get another set of knives?
    Thanks. ☀️

Those knives are ok for rotational but for no spin I would recommend a shorter blade.
For me throwing rotational cold steel pro flight sport is a bit light... When I throw from 6 and 7 meters I often throw to hard with a light blade. 😇
Best start out knife for me is cold steel jack dagger thrower. But if you want a lighter blade your blade is good!! 👊😊

I found this amazing blacksmith: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LaForgeDuFaune . The Dart set matches your suggestions about the length and weight for no-spin.

can you recommend a knife for beginners?

There are so many better custom rotational knives but as a first knife on a budget I would recommend “cold steel jack dagger thrower”. Just be sure to make it really dull when you get it because it comes sharp as hell and you don’t want that in a thrower.
Here you have several of the cold steel throwers. 😇

How do I work on my aiming

    • @soulthrower
      @soulthrower  Před 2 lety

Hi! I get this question a lot and I actually don´t have a good answer for you. How I did it was to throw tons of knives. Now I have the same rutine before every throw. I take a deep breath and exhale hold the tip of the blade on the bulls and then throw. Some told me but then you are aiming.... but I hold the same way no matter the distance so it isn´t aiming... it is focus. Sorry for a rambling answer... I kind of don´t aim... I feel how to release from experience. 😅🤙
