I am trying to build this, but on the upright build you say to have 2 8 foot 2x4s. But in the list of materials you list it as 84 inches which is not 8 feet. Which one is correct?
Correct me, but I would think you would want to screw the final boards in from the rear. The axe head has a much better chance of getting damage by the screw head.
How do the filler lengths mount? How does the ledge board mount to that? Huge gap in the instructions and no drawings show them

What is the type of board material that was used? Pine? Poplar? Cottonwood?

Got any locations to buy that wood?
@@jhorsley63 My local axe house will sell them for about $25 - $30 a board x 5. But being a league member they are more willing to let go of a few boards that way. Otherwise very hard to find Cottonwood boards.
