Groooooossssssss!!!!
Yeah that was a bad one but u did sooo well with those books
That place was nasty! Sad to think that someone actually lived there.
Indeed!
Good tip on the rubber gloves, we have no idea what we’re sticking your hands in or where, They have been
Thanks Charles. So true!
STAY AWAY FROM THE 💩!! Wanted to see inside the fridge🤢🤮
Impossible. Once they opened it, it got slammed shut and ppl were gagging. Lol
Just watching this now Dom! Catching up you know? Anyway, about you walking, your so tall you should get there in a few strides!
lol
Great video. I'm from Syracuse myself so I've been enjoying seeing the area where I grew up! Thanks for the great tips and content.
Glad I can bring you some Cuse! Thanks for watching!
You definitely have a height advantage. LMAO... I would have been one of those "running out of the house"!!! I was thinking the same... time to take a shower!!!
I can’t tell you how good it felt when I got out of the shower.
Great video❤️👍
Thanks!
Good lord. Musta been some odd circumstances behind this one. I'm thinking the estate-sale person was taking a gamble that no customer was going to take ill after the sale and blame it on the filthy conditions encountered in that house. For that matter, a shopper might very well have fallen down or had some other mishap after that fridge was opened. Yeesh.
On the positive side, congrats on getting the old tech manuals. I myself collect old drafting and drawing how-to books, due to my interest in comic art, and I see lots of people buying up vintage books of this sort on eBay all the time. The better ones still hold up today, and deserve to be appreciated today. :)
WOW!! That was gross (but worth it)!! Thanks again Dominic!
Lol! Sure thing, David.
Dom - please don't video yourself while driving! We don't want to lose you man! Keep up the great vids
That was an old video. I don’t do that anymore thank you
Do you remember where the house of horror and filth was located? Was that Lakeshore Road in Cicero?
Yes! How did you know?
Prime Time Treasure Hunter You literally parked in front of the house I lived in in the early 2000’s. Hahahaha
Metal Flippin Mell wow!!!
That old guy tried to steal those books. He was using your height advantage to help himself. Great moment.
How bout taking a big Rolling duffle bag? Would eliminate you having to carry around heavy items😊👍🏽
💭🤔
I actually like the boxes 📦
I just love these estate sales. But this was a little unsanitary. Lol😅
Dominick; Any Tips on dealing with Musty Smelling Books? I've tried placing books in plastic trash bags filled with Cat Litter / Baking Soda... Also, scented dryer sheets amongst the pages. These books had no signs of mold / foxing or mildew.
I'm staying away from the poop everybody lmao!!! That was horrible. I noticed nothing is marked do they just tell you the price when you pay?
Yup. I love the unmarked stuff. Best way to get treasures they have no clue about. Lol
$5 is crazy low i had to pay $1.6 per book. sure it smelled like rat poop but most of them were pre 1860 and first editions or limited editions of 500. Some comped out at $400. I think I inhaled a bunch of rat fecal dust. 30 books for $50.
