Oh yeah.. the military used to use the small island next to Maui (where I’m from) as target practice to drop bombs on it constantly, eventually killing it.
They dropped huge ones that left craters and broke the caprock so there’s no groundwater.
So I mean they literally killed it.
Maui is so close and had to endure chaos & booms for 40yrs. We’re still trying to remove all the explosives.

Thats a shame, because the interaction makes it fun, interesting and gives us an idea of how to search. There are other sellers that dont take their viewers into account while hunting in the garage sales, thrift, goodwill or estate sales. Only after the fact. They only show what they bought and not even what its worth. Like to see the comps. Gets less interesting at this point . Thank you for the education you give on items you pick on your journeys.

Hey, Dom, you missed a BOLO in the secret room. It was in the box with religious books - a set of Barclay's Daily Bible study commentary paperbacks. If you have the entire New Testament series, you're looking at $80-120.
Yes, you’re right. Unfortunately I was short on time and had to make decisions on what to focus on. I skipped the religious books because most do not sell well except old Bibles. This was an exception. I feel fortunate just to have gotten anything though since I came in when the sale was technically supposed to end.
You have to keep the baby sharks for Daisy lol not sure about the mermaid 🧜♀️ tumblers though, unless maybe you get some brownie points with the Pfaltzgraff mug first (the p is silent, other than that it is pretty much said how it is spelled), otherwise your new home may be the Shedquarters 😂 I actually just sold a Pfaltzgraff pie bird! I’m still watching but liked and shared, hugs to Daisy and take care!

Good stuff as usual PT. While I do love the onsite videos better, you can only do it if you can. I would saw that local vintage hats can do well. Because as we know, there's always a buyer out there. Long-tail, sure, but when you list, hit as much of that demographic info in the SEO as you can. They can sell. Also, was wondering what prices you comped for that set of Narnia. My wife sold one of those few months back and was curious if she was one of those comps :)

No, not the modern ones. Vintage, yes. There was only one old one. The rest were new.
Robin Jones Gunn is a wonderful author, but she doesn't put in sex and violence, so she doesn't comp well. Pfaltzgraff is pronounced FALTZ'-graff. And BONOMO is BON'-o-moe...like the Turkish Taffy. Zip codes were introduced 7-1-63. The Bonomo Banner shows New York 23, NY, which is the older way of telling the postoffice which direction to take it, so it is at least before the 7-1-63 date. I went to a concert and a football game broke out. I love marching bands. They sounded great.
