    NICE! Great deal.
    I went back to an estate sale yesterday in hopes of getting a Sharp 60" TV for $105 (30% off) Everything was 50% off so got the TV for $75 and Sony DVD player was included. Just because we went back I got a number of other things for 50% off.
    Me too! I did not plan on going back, but wife said OK on the TV.

    Hey Dominic, I know that FOMO feeling. Also know the regret feeling when you don't pull the trigger. I once found 20 pairs of Tony Lama cowboy boots (lizard skin , ostrich, snakeskin, etc. ) in a thrift store. They were $30 each and I only bought 4 because I was new and not too confident. You know the end of this story...I should have bought them all. The 4 sold in less than a month around $100 each. Great haul on that Estate sale by the way.

    The accucut score is awesome, on about 7.25 of the video you left the part needed to make the accucut work. It's for cutting dies out of paper, I've used one at my local library. Many teachers use them too.

    • @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
      @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter  Před 4 lety +1

      Correct. I just didn’t have time to grab the whole machine. That thing is huge. But fortunately Ebay comps show that people just buy those wood blocks. So I assume, these will be going to someone who already has the parts to make it work.

      Maybe see if they will work out a deal at the end if you came and made a box, they might be inclined to do that, or at least get them to call a charity to do a pickup so it can avoid going in a landfill, and maybe they get a tax write off.

    How exciting!! Way to be on the case Mrs. PT!! Sometimes I find if I don't take a bunch of time to overthink whether or not to do something and just go ahead and do it, I am usually not disappointed, and that's what you did, you just went for it! Have fun going through these finds - I kept thinking throughout this video, good thing you have Prime Time Shedquarters to store everything, that gives you even more flexibility to take these opportunities! Woohoo!!

    Love the video! So much fun. So jealous!!! Those these are the types of things that get me in trouble. Way to much inventory and no time.😱 (Surgery for Bill tomorrow). Why did you not take the accu-cut shelving unit? I would bet there is some one who has a bunch of those that would like that for storage. Can not tell how much it weight but it did not look to huge. 🐰

    Another great video! Thanks!
    You've spoken in a few videos about going through a space methodically to avoid getting overwhelmed. I'd love if you could elaborate on this idea in a future video; your neuropsychology expertise could really help out the ADHD pickers out there like myself. Weak executive function and poor attentional control can make shopping a big sale like that one really difficult! Thanks so much.

      I think what DD Kitten meant was you could sell the rack on eBay too!! I tried talking to you through my iPad. I said, “Dom - grab the rack too. Put the rack in your box too!” I guess you didn’t hear me through your magic screen.
      Once crafters or teachers/librarians purchase a stack of those blocks, they start to need a way to store and organize them in their craft room. The rack is probably worth as much as a small stack of the blocks of the blocks.

    • @kittenkaboodlesintime3171

    • @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
      @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter  Před 4 lety

      For tax purposes, I had to count was what I purchased On the first day since all this was free on the second day. But conceptually, yes, it can all be considered one big hall.

    • @SinnycoolGames
      @SinnycoolGames Před 4 lety +1

      @@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter another question if you dont mind? When you receive a good offer on a moderately expensive item do you consider the buyers feedback? For example say you had a $200 offer on a lot of comics that you were considering taking but the buyer had a negative feedback as a seller saying something crazy. i have a similar offer on the table and havent accepted yet

    • @Scottyyy777
      @Scottyyy777 Před 4 lety

      @@SinnycoolGames Depends if that was the only feedback, and the rest seem normal or not if more, if only feedback, I would probably block them after canceling the offer, and if it just a fluke then go ahead and accept or counter with a message.

    • @SinnycoolGames
      @SinnycoolGames Před 4 lety +1

      Yea it was just 1 neg but it was a nasty one but as a seller. Leaving only positive as a buyer. Small chunk of change but id also be taking like 70% of full price which also pretty close to lowest id take maybe

We're also in Syracuse, NY and were wondering how you go about finding estate sales as well as garage sales locally. I know currently it's not exactly garage sale time in upstate NY but I'm not sure what sites to use. Ever since they screwed up our local paper (only delivering a few times a week) I'm not sure where to look up what use to be found in the classified section. Any info would help, thanks.
