The Cinema Snob reviews the Lucio Fulci masterpiece The Beyond. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I like how this intro portrays Brad's slow descent into utter madness.
Slow?
I prefer to think of it as his evolution. He started on the floor with terrible lighting and has ascended from ET pornos and Shot-on-shiteo's to snobbing God Himself! (Or Pureflix rather)
Utter *Awesomeness
Supposing he has any sanity in the first place.
into utter baldness
"Gallons of fake blood that could go to homeless children!" Brad, where do you think they get the "fake blood" from?
From shampoo bottles and red food coloring, based on the consistency of that "blood" in the clip he showed a minute earlier.
scitechian it was a joke, he was implying that they used the blood of homeless children as this was a Italian film and one directed by Lucio Fulci the same man who in Zombie/Zombi 2 had someone in zombie makeup fighting a real shark.
Never explain the joke..
@@afrog2666 ... it was a joke? I thought homeless children naturally had blood that was frothy _and_ got rid of dandruff.
"You can take that to the bank. The blood bank!" *Musical stinger.*
It's been a decade of decadence. It's a damn shame The Snob doesn't have more subs. The man is a goddamn CZcams legend amongst a sea of mortal peasants!
You're so right. I wish he wasn't forced to quit his other channels.
Well he did switch channels a lot
Superb channel, especially in the latter period. And the character he's created adds so much to the effect, rather than just relying on the featured material.
"Don't go into room 36!"
She says, as everyone immediately goes to Room 36.
Y’know how it is: tell someone not to do something, the chances of them doing it increase greatly.
Holy shit, 10 years. I didn't even realize it had been that long.
Hey Hugo and/or Jake love the videos keep up the good work.
The Bible Reloaded so true man
thats what she said...OH SNAP!
But what truly matters, is Loyd still drunk?
This comment is soooo dated......
I prefer the Snob character much more than Nostalgia Critic
I read that in the Snob's voice.
Joshua Johnson nostalgia critic got old . His comedy has the mentality of a third grader. He just screeches and comes off cringey.
yeah the snob is much more subtle and dry in his humor, which I appreciate
Joshua Johnson I cannot stand Nostalgia Critic. He’s so fucking obnoxious and not funny at all. Cinema Snob genuinely makes me laugh with his sarcasm and he covers some awesome B horror.
I enjoy both. **gasps**
Happy tenth anniversary! And here's to many more!
That intro could just be called "The slow death of Brad's hair."
Love the new intro. Congrats on ten years of film snobbery, Snob.
I had a double feature with this and Gates of Hell tripping acid with my ex-girlfriend.
She has arachnaphobia. It ended poorly.
Greetings from 2022.
Yikes. Acid + arachnophobia + face-eating tarantulas are never a good mix.
Happy... Snobbiversary?
Here's to the next ten years!
So glad to hear that Sad Panda theme again.
A new opening celebrating ten years of Cinema Snob!? Fuck yeah!
Just like in Suspiria - it sucks to be blind and have a German shepherd.
I higly recommend blind people won't watch either of the movies. Oh wait...

BOI--
This movie is crazier than a bag of frogs... And I absolutely love it.
The depiction of hell seen at the finale might be my favorite depiction I've ever seen in a film.
And more fun than a frog in a glass of milk!
You keep on doing the Lord's Work Cinema Snob!
1. Mute the video at the beginning.
2. Open new tab.
3. Search for "The Greatest American Hero Theme Song" on CZcams.
4. Play both video at same time.
5. Enjoy
Suck it copyright! (But seriously Sad Panda still did a good job)
those practical effects in this film are pretty sweet
Believe it or not, I'M walking on air. I don't know about you.
MarkAndrewEdwards I never thought I could feel so free, indeed.
Malcolm Flying away on a wing and a prayer, who could it be?
Believe it or not, it's just me.
*watches next cinema snob video*
I miss that intro :(
COGRATULATIONS SNOB!
"BELIEVE OR NOT, WE ARE WITH YOU, I NEVER THOUGTH YOU WOULD COME SO FAAAR~"
I say this in a good way, (or at least trying to), I'm actually a little jealous of you Brad. That opening really highlighted all the hard work you have put into the character and series and it's really paid off. In another life, you're living the kind of career I wish I could have pursued. Please keep up the good work and my envious admiration :)
Ha-Ha! The "Bye-Bye Man" audience reference there... 😄😂
My deepest condolences to you on that recent screening.
Shittiest director ever on that hunk of shit. Though not as shitty as XX.
Has it really been ten years? I'm so glad I found you, your channel has quickly become one of my favorites. Keep up the great work! Awesome intro.
Does anyone else miss it that he doesn't use the Greatest American Hero theme anymore? I know why he stopped but it has always felt like something has been missing without it.
15 years. Damn dude. Brad deserves well over a million subs
Wow, it's been 10 years. I actually love watching through your older videos sometimes and seeing the transition from then to now. You're one of the only reviewers I know that has maintained a consistent style and quality (although that can be said for a lot of fantastic people from Channel Awesome). You're still probably, above all others, my absolute favourite critic on CZcams, and a huge inspiration to us film reviewers. Congratulations on 10 years of this wonderful show.
Thank you, Brad, for 10 years of hilarious horror reviews. You have been my favorite movie reviewer ever since I stumbled upon you at CA back in 2010. Please keep doing what you do best.
10 years millions of hair follicles lost.
I watched "The Beyond" for the first time recently, and it's really good! Certainly flawed, but definitely worth watching... although probably not while eating anything.
The new theme really makes me miss Greatest American Hero. :(
ACTUAL LEE, Sad Panda made this theme in 2010. Brad first used the "Believe It or Not" part in his review of Bloodsucking Freaks.
Is SadPanda still alive?
MetalPersonJ same. :(
And I wasn't even around back then, I just found it so much better than that electronic thing Brad used during his League of Super Critics time. lol
@@SpeedyEric1 If I had to guess I'd say that Sad Panda's favorite band is The Pixies.
18:29 The librarian was actually Lucio Fulci, the movie maker.
10 years? Holy frick, I've only been watching for about three and a half Explains why I missed the legendary Smurfs 2 Midnight Screening.
Tobias Christopher it is so worth seeing the rage that film produced
Tobias Christopher I've been watching for one year, and I think I've seen almost every episode.
been watching since 2010 and also caught up on all the vids that came before that. you can find them all in order on his website some of them are broken but you can find them on other websites.
Review The Kirk Cameron version of Left Behind. The version from 2000.
That film is a masterpiece...
...a master piece of utter shit.
Congratulations on the anniversary! This show is simply legendary.
So cool to see Sad Panda still doing music. Makes me miss all the collaborations from the old Channel Awesome crew. Congrats on 10 years Brad!
the man in the library is Michele Mirabella, he's currently hosting a medical talkshow titled Elixir, hosting several physicians and specialists to help elderly people figuring out which diseases they are getting.
Ten. YEARS! It's been one hell of a ride, snob! Thanks for all the great videos and keep up the great work!!
I love the new theme song, fits really well
ACTUAL LEE, Sad Panda made this theme in 2010. Brad first used the "Believe It or Not" part in his review of Bloodsucking Freaks.
I prefer the old Cinema Snob intro with Believe it or not.
Thank you, very much.
Loved the new intro!
Congrats on the tenth anniversary, Brad!
I love your reviews and what made this even better was the shout-out to Eibon press. I would have missed that reference normally but I now own their whole catalogue.
Really random, but this came on during Thanksgiving with the family, and I stayed to watch it with my Dad. I can now say - I see why the Snob watches movies like this. So much fun.
Dude the rare occasion where i've actually seen this movie before you reviewed it. Excellent episode, and I hope you're here for another ten years!
Also, dude, you kinda grew up to look like Bryan Cranston.
10 years of Snob. Well done. Here's to 10 more years.
This makes the Overlook Hotel look like a Motel 6 in Salem.
Witch-Trials Salem or "Days of Our Lives" Salem?
@@scitechian salem Oregon
Ten years is such a feat! I'm sad I haven't watched from the beginning, but I'll always remember finding your videos in 2013 and thinking, "Man, this guy's voice just gave me an eargasm."
They say you never forget your first critic, and I've found that to be true. No matter how many reviewers I watch, with their intellect and analysis, my heart always takes me back to the porn and exploitation of the Snob.
A fan since 2008 here. Time sure do fly by! Congrats Brad and I drink to your next 10 years! You are easily in my top 5 favorite person to view on the Internet, thanks for a decade of great videos!
Three cheers for Cinema Snob and his Cinema Mob!
Happy 10th anniversary Cinema Snob! Ten long years of snobbing and evolving.
From Pierre Kirby to Wow Wow Wiggle Woggle Wazzie Woodle Woos and Troll 2's, the Snob is truly a legend.
Well now, so much for me thinking that lady in the bathtub of acid in Slaughter High was the most avoidable "death by acid" scene in a horror movie.
i like the new intro but i still miss the the greatest American hero theme
ACTUAL LEE, Sad Panda made this theme in 2010. Brad first used the "Believe It or Not" part in his review of Bloodsucking Freaks.
The librarian is an older time-traveling Tommy Wiseau.
Well, I wasn't scared of spiders.... WASN'T...
Well then don't watch "The Serpent and the Rainbow."
Don't watch The Serpent and the Rainbow if you don't want to be holding your crotch in terror at a certain point either.
But _definitely_ watch SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. It is a Disney film.
Lol, same :)
Italian horror! I knew you would do this film sooner or later! Thanks Brad and keep up the good work!
Ps Jukkis. If you like Italian horror, I would recommend The Bird With the Crystal Plumage and Twitch of the Death Nerve. I've also heard that Deep Red is good.
Renegade Hero I've seen all those films. Deep red is my favorite. The bird with crystal plumage was pretty nice too :)
+Ps Jukkis. Nice!
Italian horror films rock.
+Jeremy Gau. They do, except for one I saw called The Ordeal, that movie was awful.
OMG i ve been requesting this from you for a long time now! thank you!
Thank you so much for reviewing one of my favourite films ever! I love when you do Fulci films and can't wait for the rest of the month. Your videos never fail to entertain me. Definitely one of the smartest and funniest comedians on CZcams!
The new intro is great! Thumbs up to Sad Panda for providing a sweet theme! I don't know what to say other than congratulations Brad! Ten years... That's a huge fucking milestone!
I discovered the Cinema Snob in 2014. Wish I had discovered it much sooner, but I've made up for lost time. Its one of my favorite shows, and I look forward to it every week! I introduced my grandfather to the Cinema Snob, and I pretty much turned him into a fan. We have a great time watching the show together...
The Cinema Snob is one of the shows that inspired me to do online reviews myself. Brad, if you ever see this comment, I just want you to know... Your show, your movies, and almost your entire body of work has been a huge inspiration to me. You and Doug Walker are my favorite reviewers. I could not have accomplished what I've been able to do in the past two years if I hadn't discovered you guys!
Here's to the next ten years! May we get introduced to even more depraved films!
P.S... As for the review itself, it was fucking awesome! I love Lucio Fulci!
And fun true fact, I've actually had a pet tarantula. Two in fact. Did the scene with the tarantulas unnerve me? A little, but not too badly. While they are dangerous, and you definitely should be careful when feeding them... When you get a chance to really observe them, you'll see that they're actually kinda cute...
ACTUALLY, I think Shreveport is used as a filming location more often than New Orleans proper.
At one point it was the 3rd most popular city for filming in the USA, with Los Angles and New York leading by a large margin.
The reason Shreveport is preferred over New Orleans is because it's in Northern Louisiana, where the weather and climate is a little less chaotic and a number of buildings have architecture similar enough to fool people who have never been to the city.
Granted, they still go down there from time to time because some things can only be found in New Orleans, but the city is called the New York of the south, and it shares a similar kind of busyness without the expectation that parts of it will need to be shut down for filming.
RIP Snob's hair.
Congratulations on 10 years,Brad...Huge fan of your work.
This is my favorite Fulci film next to Zombie. Great spooky score, creepy as hell atmosphere, great gore effects and a downbeat ending, what is there not to love.
It is great to see the Brad be actually sarcastically snobby. I love him riffing all the time but taking a jab at movie critics is always a nice change.
Cinema Snob, you have been a wonderful presence for so long. Your reviews are top notch and you are the only one I know who reviewed Salo, allowing me to be able to make references to it while keeping my sanity intact. Here's to ten more years. 🍾🍺🍻🍹
Bye the way if play The Greatest American Hero Theme Song at the beginning, it perfectly syncs. Happy 10 years Brad!!!
Ryan G Perhaps he intended it that way. Thanks Brad.
Oh hell yeah, man. This is one of my favorites, which I probably wouldn't have discovered without your show!
Beautiful opening montage of Snob over the years. :D
Jeeze, ten years... That means I've been watching your show since I was 16.
Was really excited to see you finally review this one, and I wasn't disappointed :)
So this year marks 10 years you've been doing this? Wow. I started watching about 5 years ago... For some reason Super Hornio Bros. was the first episode I saw. I knew then that you'd be one of my favorite reviewers and you haven't let me down. Thanks and keep 'em coming, Brad.
Congrats on ten years as the Cinema Snob Brad! Keep up the good work.
Can't think of any better way to end the night than with a new video from my favourite youtuber.
Oh god...I've seen every single one of those Fulci movies. *sigh* And I loved almost all of them.
...
The world is a lonely place.
Who would ever go into Room 36 if the explicit warning to never go in there didn't exist?!
Morbid curiosity 😅
Jesus Brad, you've been doing this for ten years? That's awesome! Congratulations on the annyversary!
Brad dancing in the pink dress cracks me up. Congrats on your 10th birthday. And a big personal thank you for giving the internet, and thus the world, 10 years of that sexy voice.
*hug *squeeze * Happy tenth, gorgeous; thank you for your hard work and dedication and all the best for the(hopefully) next ten ones to come
I had to look away about 6 times thru this, but I left my headphones in, so it was lovely the graphic way you kept explaining the deaths, and I also enjoyed all the squishy sounds...
fun fact: David Warbeck was considered to be James Bond throughout the 70s. He was paid by the the producers to be ready in case if Roger Moore dropped out, so that he could take over.
Congrats! Many happy returns!
Brad, question about the snobs personality. Have you intended for the current snob to sound slightly more angry than the old snob?
I'm not big on Fulci, but The Beyond is god damn excellent. And has an unbelievable score.
Yes! I've been waiting for this! You rock Snob!
Another great & funny review. Love the new opening credits. Keep up the great work!
10 years man, congratulations, and here's for another 10 glorious years
Thank you, Snob, for knowing that New Orleans is below sea level and there virtually no basements as a result!
Goddamn, ten years? Here's to another ten, bud.
I DRINK YOUR BLOOD 1970 One of my favorite movies and my all time favorite horror film. You need more esoteric shit like that too much talking dogs and Pureflix right now
Less than 10% of reviews in the last year are Pure Flix reviews, and only a couple are talking dog movies = all reviews are Pure Flix and talking dog reviews.
Yes I'm being facetious. Now please do I Drink Your Blood!!!!
Stoned Gremlin Productions I bet you're getting pretty tired of correcting people on stuff like this.
BUSHWHACKED!
If you're going to do that, you need to go full grindhouse and review "I Drink Your Blood" AND "I Eat Your Skin"!
the soundtrack of this movie is actually really cool. I listened to after i saw this.
Holy shit...I've been watching you for ten years?!? Man time fucking flies.
Awesome opening Brad! Sadly, time flies way too fast!
real cool intro brad love damn I've watch a lot of your vids love it keep it coming
Happy 10th anniversary as the Cinema Snob, Brad!!!
How many years did I have to wait for? Finally
I love the basement in New Orleans being the work of ghosts reference. Something that's always bothered me about this movie. We're under sea level here in New Orleans... there are no basements. Kinda like how in Jarmusch's "Down by Law," they escape Orleans Parish Prison into the bayou, while the real OPP is in the middle of the city with no swamps around. Filmmakers don't understand our geography.
7:50 This is why Tree Stand Safety is so important!
I am quite a fan of the cinema snob, he has become one of my favorite characters in recent years! Keep up the great work Brad :D
I love the new intro and Sad Panda song!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BRAD!!!
Wow, hard to believe its been ten years already! Here's to many more!
Are you going to Snob the Bye-Bye Man?
Congrats on 10 years bud! =D
Congrats on ten years of the Snob
Thanks for the plug!
