nah
I don't want Union to win. They are just like Arsenal before the banter curse was lifted. They can't win the games they need to win and when they lose they get absolutely done for
All imma say is
For a team who were sixth in the league at the WC break, this is probably a comeback of epic proportions. We look defensively aight and Kobel looks like an absolute monster. Haller is also settling in, Bynoe Gittens and Reyna are looking Solid, Emre Can has had an upturn in form and Karim was cooking until his injury.
Also, yes supporting Dortmund is psychological torment.
Bruder...
What about Mallen and Schlotterberg?
@@anibalrodriguez2626 Malen needs more chances and Schlotterbeck was great. He had some bozo moments at the start but he has been great overall imo
It's also great to see our defenders Süle and Schlotterbeck performing more and more solid as the matches go by.
dortmund 🤝 tottenham
no wonder I support both clubs

as a Bremen-fan I am thoroughly enjoying this season so far. No big threat of relegation, playing entertaining football and having a force of nature up top as well as a really likeable manager...just cruising along with a smile on my face

Yes it did !
Bro I love that you actually pronounce the german football team names flawlesly. Not a lot of people do that.
Anyone that isnt native english can
English and German have the same roots so it makes sense
@Rest in peace bro I find Americans have a hard time pronouncing words. This includes Canadians (veryyyy notable when speaking French)
Dortmund did it again😭😭😭
I hope union Berlin wins the title but with their recent loss to Bayern , it will be hard
Bayern is still winning bro, they have been saying the same thing the last 10 years
@@luckymark571 I guess that bayern is winning too, but a failure is not impossible. It wasn't so close in the last 10 seasons.
@@maining0240 18/19 was very close to. Bayern was only winning at the Last Match day
Dont forget, that 3 days before playing Bayern, thay played Ajax.
@@luckymark571 remember juve ? yea they lose now too
Union Berlin is a shining example of the the team being the star. Altough I was hoping for isco to join them, maybe it was for the better that didn’t happen
Union is very capable to hold a star like isco. Max Kruse was at the club and held a similar position isco would have held and they still did very well, as the rest of the team is still able to play as a team around a "star".
@@adlerauge8965 idk if you can compare kruse with isco but I mean that on a publicity level.
Kruse played mostly in germany and only in at most upper midtable clubs.
Isco played until now for the arguably biggest club in the world.
I’m not saying that one is better than the other (I love Kruse, what a personality), but the pressure through expectations could’ve been very damaging to the player and the team.
The most important thing may be that there were serious talks about a big profile player possibly joining union, which is a great sign of growth for the club.
@@superguy698 Kruse is german and isco is spanish. So German media would not be that much more fokussed on isco than on Kruse. In terms of playstyle these players would probably take the same space. International media is an other theme, but they donz have that mich of a influenz in foreign countries i think.
Well, this is awkward 😅
Well... that was fun while it lasted
No need to jinx this one Maqwell😭
This didn’t age well 😢

As a Freiburg fan, i‘m just happy to be a part of this amazing title race.. Don‘t care that we probably won‘t win it, it‘s just an amazing year right now
To be a Leverkusen fan is both thrilling and depressing and I feel all of those emotions this season and every other season when we are expected to do really well and always end up falling short or very far from expectations.
Are we not loving this, eh?
The Relegation Battle is even closer since the Last 5 Teams all have 19 Points

Max, please do a feature on the Greek Super League, there is a 4-way title race this season
Olympiacos, AEK, PAOK, and Panathinaikos fighting for Champions League qualification.
It's criminal you didn't use Kahn's reaction to Modeste's goal in that 2-2 tie (win)
As a baby football fan, I really appreciate these kinds of videos! Keeping up with all the leagues can be super overwhelming so these are really helpful in understanding what's going on!

As a Dortmund fan I’m happy to see some love for the bundisliga ❤❤ good vid as always
As a person who is a Spurs fan an has sympathy for Dortmund. I laughed so hard when you called them yellow Spurs. Hats off to you :)
As a Dortmund fan what I think has been a very cool factor is the confidence, at the start of the year I wasn't too sure if we would do good, we did after all lose 4-2 to Monchengladbach, but we ended up somehow winning game after game. The first two Bundesliga games were the most painful to watch because our defense was non existent and we only won because of Reyna's two game winners in a row. But after the first two things started clicking for our team and at least for me I started expecting Dortmund to win, especially against Leipzig today which we did and btw it was a great win imo.
also big probs to some players who were dodgy at the start but became rlly solid as time went on, this includes Schlotti, and Brandt. Also even bigger probs to the golden boy Bellingham and the wall himself Kobel.
@@danielstarykov now we have to wins these last 4 matches to win

Who Is Here After Dortmund Bottled The League
You need to do a follow up before the final games, got even closer now and a lot of ups and downs for Bayern and Dortmund
I’m coming to this video after the Dortmund Leipzig game and let me tell you, as a Dortmund fan, the stress was high. Went 2-0 up, conceded one, and spent the last 30 minutes trying desperately not to choke. And we didn’t! 2-1, I thing this might be the team to finally do it. This team has grown a lot since the Werder game, and I really hope that we finally reclaim the title after a decade
Aged well
I just wanna see Dortmund win anything of significance. PLEASE. Ive already been through so much pain with the Bundesliga and Champions League runs. We were so close to winning Champions League, but of course Bayern had to be the one to beat us and take out best player afterwards
MAQWELL DONT JINX IT AGAIN GODDAMN IT
We might get a potential down-to-the-wire title race since the last one in the 2018/19 season. At that time, while Bayern eventually won the title, they needed to take it to the last day to cement their crown, only 2 points deficit over BVB.
Yeah but the title was more or less decided since Dortmund got destroyed 5:0 in München.
From then on it was clear that Bayern would take the title yet again, they had a huge psychological advantage
Maqwell here to jinx it again like last year with Union Saint-Gilloise
Love this type of video!

Bayern #1
I went to Fryburg for the German exchange about 15 years ago and it’s a lovely city. It’s nice to see them doing so well
Well done video. Very entertaining and informative. Good job!
In 2006-07, there was a crazy title race for Bundesliga, when Schalke 04 had a tough race against Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, only finished 4th, and at that time, the Germans only send 3 clubs for Champions League qualification, which means the Bavarians will only play in UEFA Cup the next season.
Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen were regarded as favourites at that time with the team had their own key players (Kevin Kuranyi and Miroslav Klose). But, you guessed who was the champions at the end: Mario Gomez's Stuttgart.
To make things even strange, Stuttgart had the bad start, which locked them in relegation zone.
this channel is actually amazing
You ain't seen nothing yet
One thing i love about the bundesliga this season that it is so random like 13 place could win 5:0 against the 3rd
Nice format
The amount of strong players Dortmund had to let go the last like 10 years is just insane.
Lewandowski -> Bayern
Gündogan -> City
Dembele -> Barca
Aubameyang -> Arsenal
Sancho -> ManU
Götze -> Bayern
Hummels -> Bayern
Haaland -> City
At the end of this season they will probably lose Bellingham too.
Its super frustrating how a handful of oil clubs are able to destroy strong teams like Dortmund by buying all their good players from them.
Huge respect to Marco Reus for staying at Dortmund for so many years, even he could have moved to basically every club in the world.
17:30 my man Maqwell using a Kabouter Wesley clip, never expected to see that outside Dutch CZcams
3:52 actually, and I believe many fans will agree with me, we are pretty satisfied by getting Ginter instead of Schlotterbeck. Schlotterbeck really did too many mistakes lately and Ginter is a great ex-freiburger coming back, so thats a feel good story

@@ryanan8082 my bad bro ill stop supporting youtubers mb mb
19:42 gonna have to disagree with u here. De Ligt and Upa have been amongst our best performers and I full heartedly believe that they’ve been a top 3 cb duo itw this season. Consistency hasn’t been an issue with them. The main cause for our point slip ups have come from our attack. It usually varies from not enough chances being created to a lot of chances being created but with very poor finishing. Imo, I think Nagelsmann caught onto the fact that this team can’t play without Muller and instead of rotating him with Musiala, they play much with both on the pitch
Ur wittiness is underrated. ❤
Bayern Board when they sack Nagelsmann and crash out of every single competition but they got to win their 200000000th Bundesliga title
Nice video my guy

Even if Bayern win again this season, I hope it's a start to a 3 horse race like serie a has been
serie a is not a 3 horse race this season
@@viniciomaresca6950 maybe he means 21/22 serie a
@@kanandadashzade yea probably but my comment was more referring to the fact that it never really was a 3 horse race other than last year. I love the serie a but other than last year the title race itself has been usually a 1 or 2 horse race. What i find most interesting about the serie a is usually the top 4 race. There are always 7 clubs who can all qualify.
@@viniciomaresca6950 yeah I would’ve never predicted Napoli dominating this season
I would rather prefer the jumping of positions between each and every team makes the league super competitive 👌
this season, was indeed... interesting
as a german im overjoyed for even the potential of another winner and props to union and freiburg for their consistent great work
Video suggestion: Brasileirão 2020/21. Flamengo won after being on the top of the table in 2 matchdays (37 and 38), while losing to a fourth place São Paulo, while second place Internacional, drew with Corinthians, after an offside goal at 95 minutes

about time for some competition because in football you want excitement and then there’s just one team dominating it just takes away all the interest so competition is a good thing
