LEEDS ARE STAYING UP!!!
Ik you probably have better leagues to go over, but I recommend you take a look at (and maybe make a vid about) the relegation battle in the Polish Ekstraklasa. It’s incredibly tight, and honestly I think it’s undeservedly going under the radar, that’s why I suggest you take a look at it
The hesitation of an Arsenal fan not to include Chelsea in this must be immense.
The maddest thing is they're legit 3 bad results from being 15th or 16th and they've got the hardest run in before the end
@@georgesamuels4511 Last 3 games, City away, United away, Newcastle home. There's also Arsenal away. Chelsea would be lucky to get to 42 points.
@@siddharthrox guess chelsea out the league
@@siddharthrox I guess Chelsea are lucky
@@mrfadeback yep. Out of the relegation battle. 😅
As a southampton fan this battle is nothing but pain
The fact we aren't totally cut adrift yet shows how shit everyone else has been
Don't give up, you still have your chances (even though it is very tough)
@@kevinhanandi don’t give him false hope 😂they’re 100% going down. Knowing Southampton though they’ll be straight back up in 2024
@@bababababababa6124 don't worry I made peace with relegation months ago. Not sure coming back up will be as easy everyone thinks it will tho
@@bababababababa6124 lmao
As a Leicester fan, it’s unbelievable we’ve got in this place but not surprising given everything that has happened over the last 18 months.
It’s unbelievable but not surprising? Impressive use of words
No it's not Leicesters the smallest club in the East Midlands
@@indiekiddrugpatrol3117 we re biggest in midlands lol
As an Everton fan... GO DOWN
@@hecic not even the biggest club in the East Midlands let alone the whole Midlands 😭
Aston Villa going from 17th to 6th is insane
Emery masterclass
I don’t know why but La Liga, Bundesliga and Premier League have all been close and it’s been really refreshing. Great video as always. Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
La liga isn't close, barca wins

Also the race for the champions league spots in Serie A is crazy
"Southampton have only scored 9 goals since the start of the new year"
Me, a long suffering Spurs who knows 3 of those goals were scored against us: "Well, shit."
And 2 to ours. Signed, a depressed Chelsea fan.
Make it 12 today with Arsenal's draw, if the Saints could play like they do in London thet would be safe
Meanwhile we scored 9 against Southampton in one game 😂
@@dylanmurphy9389 rare leicester fan appearance
what do you think about leicester being in relegation zone this season
@@snc6344 ffs I got them confused with Bournemouth lol
Bournemouth's next 3 games are insane, West Ham, Southampton, and Leeds. If they win those, they are 100% safe.
I think they already are tbh
@@frankiebogdan4228 Probably, but winning these 3 guarantees it
@@rogersmith9535 I think they will draw against West ham but beat Southampton and Leeds. They will be safe
@@rhysburns5420 That would give them 40 points, which is always the safety benchmark.
If they win 4 points from those, I think they're safe.
Chelsea being involved at this point physically pains me
Not reallt 12 points clear but heah if they continue awful form they might be involved
@@gogetawhatif8138 their games are really fcking tough, if the bottom teams pick up a little bit of form maybe 😂
Chelsea have to play arsenal city united etc.
@@gogetawhatif8138 yeah it down to 10 pts now and they to play man city, man utd, arsenal and Newcastle, I think it's over for Chelsea 😊
You can thank Murican stupidity
I think this is the start of a completely new era for Leicester. Rn half our team is either gone by July or complete dead weight, the team is gonna be unrecognisable in a year or two and it’s really hard to know if it’ll be good or not. Watching Wout Faes defend every weekend brings me to tears.
Not replacing Schmeichel was an insane choice
@@gabsnandes7818 very true to be fair to them they obviously thought the keepers they had were enough which they obviously weren't
As a fellow Leicester fan I don’t think Faes has been that bad. He’s far superior to Amartey and is one of the main reasons why we aren’t rock bottom (pre-world cup games). He’s erratic and shakey but gets stuck in and actually pushes forward.
@@chesterlester5770 I don’t feel either way about Leicester city. And I agree about Wout Faes, I think that he is fundamentally a very good defender with some excellent attributes and not many weaknesses. He’s been dropped into a very difficult situation thanks to Brendan Rodgers’ petty little ego battles & brutal training regime and has not had the best run of form, but he has still been the main force in the Leicester defence with his excellent intercepts. Let’s be honest; Leicester’s desperate defender signings of the very young & inexperienced Kristiansen and of that Harry Souttar who had no experience of this level of football and was purely on the back of a hyped-up performance at the World Cup (bizarrely for Australia, even though he is actually Scottish) were gambles that predictably didn’t pay off. Especially Souttar who looks like exactly the wrong style of defender for Rodger’s high line defensive tactics and who was often out of position and too slow, and who never really coordinated very well with Faes, and who seemed to be being picked because he was loyal to Rodgers.
Now Rodgers is a bad memory; the new manager doesn’t have his petty little grudge against Soyuncu, so I expect that he will be back and that Faes won’t be left high and dry to look worse than he really is. And that the high line will be abandoned which will mean that when Souttar and Vestergaard do play that they won’t struggle so much.
@@chesterlester5770 His first job is to defend not 'push forward'.
so happy to not hear villas name more than once AND to hear chelsea’s name
Villa are somehow in the European race. Incredible second half of the season so far
For me 20-th Southampton
19 leicester
18 leeds
As a Leicester fan, this brings pain. I remember thinking about the great escape of 14/15, but this looks like a lost cause at this point.
Same
Happens with every team eventually you'll bounce back
@rhys bourns true, but like the form they are in rn, it's hard to tell
@@santiagomoralesporras-7654 can't see them staying up I'm afraid after that I don't think they'll be back for another few years
I believe we will win our next three matches and be safe
With 3 matchdays remaining, it looks like Southampton, Leeds, and Leicester are getting relegated with what's left of those 3 teams' schedules and the other 2, which are Forest and Everton.
It seems that way. I like Leeds, but it seems like it’s over.
The relegation battle is so good even Chelsea want to get in on it
I'd be absolutely loving this relegation battle, if I wasn't an Everton fan
Rooney gone
As an Everton fan I am definitely shitting the bed rn, we don't even have a competent striker (I'm looking at you Maupay)
Losing Tyler Adams and Wober really hurt Leeds' defense.
And how did Lampard get the Chelsea job again after getting the sack from Everton?😂😭
Seeing Everton and west ham battling to not be relegated has been intense, I'm so used to them being mid table teams, Leicester too
Update:Looks like it's over for Everton
Well RIP Leicester
Same hear
@@MrRicTank1 here*
Yeah everton sucks
Up the toffees
as a forest fan im loving the battle just because we havent been here for so long and if we survive it would be MASSIVE, on the other hand if leicester come down with us... ill take that.
I think you'll survive but will need to make big changes for next season. Don't wanna be in this situation again
@@rhysburns5420 just about finding the right balance really, feel got cooper because half weren’t his signings probably
@@TheJWRB sign players who are young because your average age for the squad is the highest in the EPL.
@@fa1509 sure let me just jump on the phone lad
@@rhysburns5420 big changes? By the team that's already signed a small village this season... nah they're fucked
I remember walking through town in Leicester the year they won the league and thinking "I can't believe how far we've come" and now they're back in the relegation zone 😢. How did they fumble so bad?
They sacked Ranieri
@@NguyenNguyen-ve4gg It was actually sacking Schmeichel/not replacing him.
Southampton. Leicester. Everton. West Ham. Four mainstays for the past 10+ years who could ALL go down. Been a weird year in the Premier League.
I don’t think West Ham and Leicester are going anywhere anytime soon, I’m more concerned about Southampton and Everton to be honest 😂
@@bababababababa6124 Idk Leicester don't have an easy run by any means, playing the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Fulham while most of the rest of their games are against relegation rivals who will be fired up aswell. The appointment of Dean Smith doesn't really inspire confidence either imo
Why are people so surprised? This happens all the time. In another 10 years we'll be saying the same thing about teams who aren't even in the prem rn
@@rhysburns5420 Not often so many underperform to this extent in the same season though
@@p_ensemble18 true but its been a long time coming I think
Props to Villa though, they could qualify for Europe
Well done to Everton for surviving the drop
I want Everton to stumble and go down for no reason other than opening a new Multi million pound stadium custom made for the premier league whilst in the Championship will be really funny
Yet to play Arsenal Man City Man United Brentford and Newcastle. The fact that you are NOT considering us (Chelsea) as possible relegation candidates is very nice of you
I did not notice that
As a Bournemouth supporter, I hope we can get at least 7 more points this season as that should ensure safety.
I am looking at Premier League table right now and FOrest got out of relegation zone by being Brighton, i looked at the line up and realized that Brighton used Stele as GK, he was one of the GKs used by Sunderland during their Championship relegation, and was featured on that Netflix show. It explains how Forest won.
I cannot be the only one rooting for Forest to manage to stay in the Premier
Impossible

Amazing channel I only discovered it yesterday and you're now one of my favourite channels, keep up the content you legend
youre content is so well done!! THANK YOU
The relegation battle for la liga is crazy too
We love a new Maqwell video
Great video. Keep up the good work.
As a Newcastle fan you have no idea how weird it is to be described as a 'tough' game, and not be a part of this conversation
Now you should do a video on the EFL Championship, which now that I think about it as a Watford fan would give nothing but pain
Dropping a vid when I’m going to school is insane keep at it maqwelll
Relegation battle is more interesting to watch than title races
I mostly watch Serie A but this relegation battle is insane. Also mind boggling how West Ham are like 15th in the league & in the semis for the Conference League. Day 38 gonna be a madness
Another class video maxwell!
I love your videos. Always great content
Just found your chanel and i like your vids keep up the work bro❤
THANK YOU FOR DOING THISSS
lowkey, I like when Maqwell says "Janos Balazs" at the end of every video
Heck I thought I'm the only one. Idk if that name is even pronounced correctly but I love how he does it lol
Walmart Los Blancos is wild 🤣🤣🤣
And Bournemouth just beat spurs with a 3-2 last minute winner! This season is unreal
As an Everton fan, it's sad to see how low we've fallen. But after years of (financial) mismanagement, I feel like we won't be able to escape this time. Just not enough quality up front
you need to do one for la liga b/c it's also very spicy
Every upload Is good content, bravo.
Southampton forest Leicester for me. Great vid!
Bro still avoiding an Arsenal video he really don’t want to jinx them 😭😭😭
After giving up 2-0 lead twice, I can't blame him
Can't blame him after what happened yesterday
I love the beef between you and Vizeh. We all know that it’s nothing but love between you both. 😂😂😂
As a West Ham fan, I am happy we been mentioned this much at least! Great video Max! COYI ⚒️
As a Leicester fan i'm a bit relieved that you didn't say they're gonna get relegated
"Prem relegation n that" fng so proud rn
yoooo love the video!
I think the teams relegated will be
20: Southampton
19: Leicester City
18: Everton
this reminds me of 92-93 season when oldham athletic stayed up on goal difference and in 10-11 season wolves stayed up on goal difference
I'm a arsenal fan and I can say that is sad to see Leicester city being relegated
As a Leicester fan it's scary for me 😂😂😂
im an everton fan and every time they play im in the fetal position
You should cover the promotion race in the championship 6 points separates 6 from 13 for play offs
The only bad thing is unfortunately West Brom and Norwich are creeping back into it. We need more Brentfords and fewer permanent one and done yo-yos.
Personally would love to see Luton for the sole reason it would drive the Brexiters nuts.
@@lougiacobbi725 being honest I’m happy with that considering I am a West Brom fan 😂
So glad to have a STL City reference!
i watch all leicester matches as a big fan im extremly dissapointed watching how they played last season to this season from 8th to 19th such a sad sight to see
leicester have the money but it feels like the management is a joke they have no idea how to buy players and how to use the players we have except maddison who is an exceptional player
This is so close I wouldn’t be surprised to se whoever the bottom 3 will be get promoted next season straight away. Current prediction for Forest Leeds & Southampton
How do you feel about Djibouti not winning a game since like August last year

I am ready to cry while watching this whole video. LESTA TIL I DIE
After today, the scrap is still nuts! Leicester was briefly out of the hole with that draw at Leeds, then Forest climbed out with that critical win. Everton's kind of in trouble now, which means the second longest stay in the English top flight may very well be gone, like that.
love the niki merch.
Sponsor!!! WooHoo. Well done
Should see the state of the Championship right now. 6 points separates 5th from 13th so 8 teams are battling for two playoff spots with 4 games left of the season.
It would be great if you can include the matchweek number in your videos
Sick i got the 100th like. Love your vids kepp producing great content and wish you luck for the future.

Can u talk about LaLiga’s relegation battle it’s still pretty close
5:30 is that a goddamn periodic table in the background
As a forest fan, my am I happy we beat Brighton!
Please do a video on the promotion battle in the skybet championship.
Ah yes! The sorry of how QPR went from Promotion hopefuls in the play off positions and pushing for automatic promotion to shitting the bed and now being 21st
Relegation battle are always fun to watch
PLEASE one of these for the European spots... would be awesome! There's only like 2 teams not involved in either a relegation battle or a european battle
This is the first league I’ve ever watched that when I look at the standings, I go to the bottom 10 first
can you please talk about the rise of psg football jersey designs?? i mean the evolution of psg kits like how they linked fashion and football together.
Maqwell can you make Libertadores group stage it was crazy Allianza Lima won against Libertad.
Wolves fan here, Bruno Lage wasn't sacked after the 3-0 loss to Chelsea - he was sacked after the 2-0 loss to West Ham (in which he played Rúben Neves as a CB)
Relegation battles are often more interesting then the fight for the championship or top 4
national league north. it switches first-place owners ever matchday.
Notts forest are safe which is good :)
Not to mention that down in the Championship, there are SEVEN teams that could take the final two playoff spots for promotion. Absolute insanity.
