Dyche saved his reputation more than everton's reputation following the survival. And i know this wont matter, but it can make an argument for the speculation of Burnley's survival 2 season ago if he didnt get sacked at 8 matches left.
Give me Dyche over Super Frank any day. Burnley panicked too soon.

From champions to championship
Shoutout to Sean Dyche who inherited an Everton team that had minimal attackers and had lost one of their best wingers in Gordon a few days before his appointment. The team was plagued with injuries, they managed 5 wins over Arsenal, Brentford, Leeds, Brighton and Bournemouth whilst only losing 1 of their last 7 away games. The final game had Everton play two players out of position at full back in Dwight McNeil and James Garner. Pickford saved a penalty against Leicester, whilst making huge saves vs Brighton and played 30 minutes with 2 dislocated fingers vs Bournemouth. The whole team fought hard despite being extremely weak in all areas of the pitch, it was not a lucky survival, their mentality was simply better than Leeds and Leicester. Dyche will take Everton to a new level this season IMO, his 1.1 PPG would see Everton earn 42 points which would comfortably keep them safe. Everton have the chance to sign a striker or two now too.
Gordon had fallen off massively by the time Dyche came in, and had actually forfeited his starting spot to Gray. Still the fans' treatment of him was way out of line, and his departure was justified. Besides, got us 45M richer for the quality of a bench player in a relegation dogfight
@@tobiaspeterspencer3325 He had fallen out of line but it was his own doing, he was quite visibly not trying anywhere near as hard as he was the season before, I think he forced a transfer away & wasn’t committed to the cause. 45 million was a great fee for him for sure
To this day I will never understand how Brighton was UCL contenders for a solid second, beat Arsenal 3-0 and almost made it to the FA Finals but got destroyed by Everton and Nottingham Forest holding on for dear life

It's a shame that Leicester got relegated but I kind of knew it was going to happen because there were internal problems going on at the club since they won the Premier League back in 2016! Don't worry they will be back in the Premier League soon!
Don’t underestimate the quality of the Championship. I wouldn’t be surprised if Leicester City stay there for a while.

Personally I think Southampton will be the first, if any, to come back up. They showed flashes of brilliance against bigger teams, they're quick and I think they just need a good manager to bring it all together, whether or not they'll do that remains to be seen
Southampton's problem last season was more the coaching than their personnel. Hasenhuttl had burnt out and should've gone much earlier, Jones was the wrong fit for the squad and Selles had no experience.
I'm excited to see what Russell Martin can do next season as this is going to be the most resources he's ever had in a job

So on that note: can you maybe make a video about the german promotion fights in germans 2nd and 3rd division as well as the title race in germany in the same style? We had (for the first time in many years) a Bundesliga champion decided on the final day and ofc dortmund choked again and in the 2nd and 3rd division we had each one team who believed to have directly promoted with fans storming the field just so on another pich their rivals score 2 goals in additional time to steal away their direct promotion in what i think was the best and most interesting season final i will ever whitness in german football.
I cannot wait to see Electrik Kompany's Burnley next season if some other club dont grab him away first.

Arsenal and Dortmund bottled their leagues whilst Man City could win the Treble and if that happens, Erling Haaland could be a Ballon D'or winner in his first full year in Man City. Man City looked unstoppable against Real Madrid so they can easily beat rivals Man Utd in the FA Cup Final and beat Inter Milan in the UCL Final. Although that's on paper, on the pitch it can be different.
While everyone is talking about Luton, a similar story is Heidenheim,who were just promoted to the Bundesliga, most people dont even know about. Might be a interesting topic for a video.

Nottingham is gonna bottle it and luton will stay up unless the guy who saved Nottingham from relegation last season (Taiwo Awoniyi) comes back from groin injury fast enough (he’s been out for months)
I was cheering for Nottingham Forest, the only British club I like. I was preparing for the usual hopeless relegation, although the team picked up a win now and then. But the final games... ECSTASY! (the feeling, not the pill...)

Everton nowadays is like Hamburg (HSV) back in 2011/12 until 2017/18, when we were constantly fighting against being relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga.
As an Everton fan, enjoyed the recap, but two very mild complaints on the vid.
1. No footage of that all important Mina goal in week 37 to get a point.
2. Match Day 38, mentioned Everton clinging to that one goal lead... but didn't mention the 10+ minutes of stoppage time which saw every other match end while they played on what felt like 84 years. That just added to the drama for both Toffees and Foxes.
Next year hopefully won't be the same for Everton. Surely DCL won't be injured for the majority of the season AGAIN? Different team with him on, actually threatened from time to time.
Need to get 2 strikers in lad. Everyone hating on Everton but they played without a forward for almost the whole season.

Leicester getting relegated is very suprising. They won the prem and got relegated 7 years later. The only other champions to get relegated is blackburn in (i think) 2012-13. But blackburn won in 1994-95.
