I’m new to the ring making game and your videos have been supper helpful thank you
I’m very happy that they are helping so many people. 😊 Thank you for commenting. If you need any help please message me. I try to be available to help most of the time.
First time I've seen Saddle Rings - very nice idea and well executed.
For the Crackled areas - use a rat tailed file and just make detail notches.
Fine file fine notches - larger rats larger notches.
They can just be notches or blended and be a wave.
PS - buffing to a high polish before any work makes it much easier to high polish after the work is done.
PPS - Putting a coat of CLEAR nail polish on the whole thing prevents tarnish for a very long time. Otherwise it's a short trip to tarnish city.
Thank you I’ll do that next time.
Love it!
I’m glad that you like it! Thank you for watching.

I have learned a lot from you. How do you get the cracks out?
What cracks? 🤔
On the side of the spoon, when you bend it. I thought you said that you use the drimal tool. Maybe I misunderstood. Thanks
@@pamelawoods7706 OK I went back and I found the part that you were talking about those type of forks and spoons that crack like that often times are plated with a harder metal like a chrome sometimes. Those little cracks I would use a rubber, brazen disc or the little rubber brushes that I have something light that won’t take off a lot of the plate and still keep everything blended and smooth for the wearer. I was able to get those blended in, so they were smooth in just a couple of minutes. I hope that helps.
Where do you get your buffing wheels at?
The buffing wheels that I have on I bought from Lowe’s they came in a two pack. One was white and one was yellow. I don’t really use the yellow one anymore. I just use the white one with red compound. And the one on the far left I got in a lot of stuff I bought. It’s really fluffy and I use the white compound on it.
The next ones I buy are probably coming from Rio grande. They have tons of options.
