Awesome! They are fun to make.😊
Really nice video Jani! I’m new at flatwear bending, and am not very consistent, so getting a touch up tutorial will help with my bending. thanks so much for all the in depth tips!
Thank you! And you’re welcome! I’m glad you found something helpful. Feel free to ask questions. I’ve only been doing it 3-4 years.
@@JustJani you’ll hear from me. I make and sell other things and these necklaces would be a nice addition. I’m afraid of soldering
The best thing you can do is take a soldering class. If there aren’t any near you then you can watch a lot of videos and practice. You have to find what works best for you. Good luck!
@@JustJani do I have any online ones I recommend?
@@JaneThomas58 There are a couple that might be helpful because they are specific to silverplated silverware. Both of the creators below have several video besides the ones I've put links to. Hope this helps!

What would these sell for? I have the bender and gazillions of flatware. Your videos are well presented. Thank you.
Hi Jane,
Thank you, these are really fun to make! The large floating hearts with the arrow I sell for $35. The small ones I sell for $30. I hope you have fun making them, too!
@@JustJani thank you so much. I’ve had the bender for years and haven’t used it. I’ll give this a try. Also will watch more of your thorough tutes. Ty 💜
Where can you buy plastic mold and pins separately
Harbor frieght doesn't have
Hi,
The plastic tray, rollers, and pins are part of a kit called a Bender Press. There are several different kits you can get, they also have used ones. You buy an arbor press at Harbor Freight and put the kit on it. Also, join flatware/silverware bending Facebook groups. There is a lot of good info., and some ppl selling their used bender presses.

great video. Looks like your website is no longer available. What size surgical arrow do you use?
Hi!
Yes, I closed my website. The arrows are one size. It’s an “Industrial Piercing”.
@@JustJani how long ? It looks like there are different lengths.
@@karenfabiano5980 Hi,
The ones I use are all the same length. Size: 14 guage (1.6mm), bar length: 38mm (1 1/2 Inch), ball dia.: 5mm

Hi Jani,
Could you tell me what kind of tumbler you use for polishing your jewelry.
I purchased a double Barrell tumbler from Harbor Freight and returned it.
Even after pretreating it per directions, my jewelry came out black. Each piece needed to be cleaned and polished.
Was a real mess!!
Appreciate any suggestions!!
Your videos are very informative.
Thank you much!!!

Hi,
My tumbler is an Extreme brand that I got for tumbling spent brass before I started making flatware jewelry. You don't have to have one as tough as this one. You'll also need the right media. Here is a link to my tumbler and media.

There is also a polishing compound that you can put in your tumbler. I've never used it but it sounds like it's really nice.

Hope this helps! 😀
just do it
Are they all sterling silver ?
Hi,
These are all silver plated!
do you anneal before bending? or just go ahead and put them in the press?
Hi,
Most of the silver plate is soft enough that you don’t need to anneal. If you start one that is just too hard to work with you can still go back and anneal it.
Hi, where do you buy the pearling that goes through the heart ?
Hi! The piercings are called Industrial Piercings. You can get them on Amazon. Here is a link: amzn.to/3wphzSV
