Have you done a review of the navee v50
Not working 😢
Ended up ordering the City Pro for myself and next the Air for my wife. Great channel to help me through all the choices guys. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your support! -Paul
How is the range on it after having it for a little while?
Great review, thanks for all the info.
Thanks so much! -Paul
Great review I watch all your videos these reviews are so on point and cover every detail
Glad you like them! Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for the review. Rider Guide has become a trusted source on all things e-scooters and rider gear. I am currently leasing the Unagi Voyager going into month 3. The 2023 Apollo Air is high on my list for all the reasons Rider Guide has tested. I ride BART daily so this would be a great upgrade getting me to my destinations in the City. More importantly, weight and ride comfort is major factor for my needs. One more thing. The visual and local landmarks are awesome! Thanks for repin' The Bay!
Thank you for your support! -Paul
Awesome review im glad i came to rider fest. The crew at Apollo were awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Some really exciting upgrades! Looks like a great scooter
I bought this scooter a month or so ago and am loving it so far, this review really helped me decide so thanks
I like the easier left break for smoothly adjusting speed as well as the handle grips that won't move. Seems like they are baking a lot of nice stuff into the scooter without raising the price.
Thank you for the great information.
Thank you so much for your support! -Paul
Looks like a very comfortable ride
This for providing the very informative review.
Thanks so much
Very nice review!
Thanks so much! -Paul
I like scooters with handle bar turn signals 🎉
Love to try this
Nice! Has good speed.
That is one smooth and sleek looking ride. I would not mind attaching a wheelchair to that. FYI I use a wheelchair. At the moment I attached one of my old wheelchairs to a Evercross H5 with four ubolts and a forearm crutch. I will be emailing yall a picture just incase anyone who is always in a manual wheelchair wants to ride.
That's awesome! -Paul
This looks like smooth riding!
It is! -Paul
Scooter with all the bells and whistles
I like the end turn signals!
You drop it & breaks very easily!!!😮.
Needs rubber tips, like an other scooter company has done it.
Apollo always misses something!!!Sadly 😮
Thank you for the detailed review. I like how it can handle the city streets
No problem!
10" wheels 🎉❤😊.
Bar end style turn signals 🙌🏾
Great looking scooter - I kind of dig the throwback BMX-style handlebars!
This was one of the scooters that I was considering when buying my first scooter. Sadly I didn't choose this one wnd ended up regreting it. I want this one now!
It’s a very good scooter for sure!
Looks like a lot of fun!
It sure is!
Looks like a smooth ride!
It sure is.
Just spent a few hours on the Air 2023, awesome scooter! I have the Max G2 as well but the Apollo is way more enjoyable to ride. Even without the rear suspension.
Right on!
Have you ridden inmotion S1?
I get 32mls range at 15.5mph including some hills I'm 15st 9lbs
@winniepeg2020 I'm only 10lbs same as my 🐈. 😂😅
Another option to consider in my search for a scooter.
Nice! Happy hunting! -Paul
Seems like a great addition!
We agree! Thanks for stopping by.
Great info
Glad it was helpful!
Its gotta tear y'all up to ,be forced to ride and play with all those scooter options! 😢 To quote "Annie" its a hard knock life for us🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve lost count but I think we have more than 150 on hand right now. -Paul
Great to see bar-end turn signals making a default appearance on a scooter
Yes, with rubber tips. These break off very easily!!!! Terrible finishing. 😮
This might be my next scooter.
Thanks!
Wow! Thank you so much! You rock! -Paul
Damn. Very nice
Thanks for watching and commenting John. -Paul
Seems like a nice commuter option. You want a smooth ride and braking - nothing worse than being around cars and having a scooter that jumps at starts or stops
I love how much range you get!
I was surprised how much further it went. I think part of it is due to the tubeless tires. -Paul
How much range do you get on full throttle?
@@aidanscracked831mine only lasted 16 miles on full throttle. I wish I had known that scooter companies over rate their range dramatically. Brand new gota return it and just go with the emove cruiser
looks great hope to win
that's awesome!
Thanks for watching and for your support! -Paul
I love the bar end lights! I always feel like I'm invisible to cars on my scooter
BREAKS OFF EASILY.😮.
I like the inclusion of bar end signals, you don't really see that on ebikes or scooters even though they should, I'm wondering though is the one included commercially available?
Yes
Looks like a comfortable ride.
It really is!
god i love these upgrades
Thank you all for not just reviewing any and every new scooter on the market. Love that you vette the cheap brands.
So when’s the new Mantis King coming out???
No plans on that yet!
wow what great scooter
Getting one
thats pretty sweet!!
Sure is!
Hmm tempting!
Hi you are one off the best professional scooter connoisseur 👍🏽 I would love to buy the scooter only thing is missing option to change your handlebars to be smaller and the option the speed up to 28 MPH. As an option put in a code and you get that speed it would be a win-win
Thank you so much! -Paul
Hi thanks for taking the time out for us. 🎉 With all of the scooters 🙌🏽 I like the Apollo but top speed needs to be 25 mph price is good handlebars too long for committing need more lights 🚥
This is awesome
Thanks for watching and commenting! -Paul
U are the best review expert my friend
Wow, thanks
I would love to ride this every where it’s sweet
Seeing what they're doing with the city and the air, I think the new phantom is gonna be interesting to see. I suspect the phantom will get the tubeless self healing tires as well. My guess is the 2024 phantom will get these upgrades.
Is this a worthwhile upgrade to the ninebot max g30? I love mine but there's a lot to love about this new air. The range is a pause for thought, but I like the lighter weight(20kg is my limit), speed, tires andlove impressions from any who have ridden both?
Yes it’s an upgrade , but check out the Apollo Go it’s even better geni.us/ApolloGo use code RIDERGUIDE to get $50 off either the air or the go
Great review, thanks guys - hey which rides better on bricks and cobbles, the 2023 Air or the new Segway Max G2?
Can’t go wrong with either honestly! We love the Air!
I bet you guys are super pumped to check out the new model "rover" that slots between the air and the city for power and weight. I'm sure you will have a pre production model by March. It will be a dual 350W motor with a top speed around 27-28mph and only 5-8lbs heavier than the Air 23.
Looking forward for sure!
Yeah the air weights 38 lb and the rover or now call the "GO" weights 50 lb. That's not so portable,
I cant wait to hear about the inmotion rs with pmt tires... The question isnt should I buy it but when?
I'll let you know. Hopefully I won't crash again. It's been 1.5 weeks and my shoulder still isn't working well. -Paul
Awesome
Thx for the great info. I went by purely customer reviews buying a scooter for my son last year and regret it. In literally weeks, my son’s hiboy seemed to have issues. Flat spots on tires, throttle sporadically changed what top speed was possible depending on the day, cheap plastic parts falling off, just a poor choice. This one looks like my choice to replace for him for Christmas. Thanks again.
Glad I could help!
may i have your opinions for nanrobot brand? or specificly d6+2.0?
We have not done any full reviews on that brand!
This may be a silly question, but are there aftermarket seats that can be added to this model? I have seen other commuter scooters that offer them
We have not seen the aftermarket seats!
I"'m confused between NIU Kqi 300p vs Apollo Air 2023. Which one would you suggest?
Both are great options but we would go for the air. Get $50 off with code RIDERGUIDE
Cool scoot. Hopefully, I can win the drawing.
I'm stuck deceding between the Apollo Air and the Segway Ninebot MAX G2. Which would you recommend between these two?
Both are awesome! Can’t go wrong with either.
If you had a choice as a new scooter owner would you recommend the G2 max or this scooter? I have the option to buy either as they are around the same price atm. Thanks in advance.
Never mind just realised the Air has a 100KG rider limit, i am just over that :'(
We would pick the air! The weight limit is not a problem. You can use code RIDERGUIDE for $50 off
How is the suspension? And will you make a Apollo City 23 single motor reviews
I'm not sure we'll ever get to the single motor version. We have one, but have never fully tested it. The one criticism I have of the single motor version, is that because it only has one regen brake instead of two like the dual motor version, the over all braking feel isn't as good as the dual motor version. The single motor Apollo City we have is a very early model though, so the drum brakes may have gotten stronger since then. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I live in Oakland! Is there any chance I could come buy and try the Apollo City
The Buzze F450 desperatedly needs a review somewhere on CZcams, btw.
We will check it out!
omg the reliability is finally added to the review section!!!! I believe some new brands will be really bad on this part, like NIU, have seen so many posts on reddit say that no customer service at all in U.S. 😂
This an odd question when they gonna start using new battery technology? Or in other words when is the e-scooter undustry gonna start doing that because as a owner of alot of e-scooters that worries me of lithium ion explosion. The common explosions is when charging the scooter not necessarily because of the type of charger they can blow up just simply from just charging it.
Hopefully soon! Would be awesome
I appreciate you putting the £ equivalent on your reviews. However, in the UK, the price turns out to be the same as Dollars. Example : Kaabo Mantis King GT is priced at around $2200, (a scooter I really like) and in the UK, it's about the same as a dollar price : £2200. ($2670)
Sorry about that. We intentionally deleted it in the previous review, but it seems to have crept back in. -Paul
is there way possible you guys review a yume hawk?
No plans currently!
Im having trouble going faster than 22mph on my apollo air 2023, i tryied to change my max speed in the setting to 28mph but it didn't work. Am i just misunderstanding what it means?
I think that’s the max speed but that model!
I'm excited for the Pro but this seems perfect for my wife 😀
It really does feel like a mini-Pro in terms of the fit and finish and the awesome-feeling grips. -Paul
This will be great for my daughter who wants to experience Escooter culture
For sure. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide and she will be attending the RiderFest 2023 with me to watch and possible assist with track officiating.
On the website it says 55km range is this true? Or is the 33km test as much as you’ll get?
The tested range is real life range!
Nice
Thanks
Nice.
I live in Burnaby with lots of hill how would it do for my brother?
Do you know how steep the hills are? During the range test, most of my hills were 4 to 6% grade (6ft of elevation gain per 100 ft forward) and it kept its speed pretty well with me (165lb rider) on board. The test hill you see it on is 10% grade and it slowed down to about 8mph up that one. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide most of the hills here are 15-20% hill
My scooters regenerate brake lever stays down when I press it and the scooter some times it does a thing and it starts shaking
Do you have a phone mount on that side. I ran into a problem where the phone mount was moving over and contacting the lever. Definitely reach out to Apollo and see what they say. -Paul
When the Uk finally legalise these I have a dilemma, Segway g2 max, Apollo air/city, or pure advance (be great if RG could get hold of pure). My one gripe with most of the commuter scooters is the lack of folding handlebars making them as wide as a bike so not as portable. Perhaps the folding handlebars from the navee n65 could be implemented! Other than that really like Apollo design and fact they go for ip66!
Avoid apollo.
@@JSythe how come mate?
In the video, the speed limiter is set to 62mph. Can the scooter go that fast?
The single motor scooters dont go that fast!
How do I get 1 to buy. I'm in New york
geni.us/ApolloAir2023
Use code RIDERGUIDE for $50 off
nice
Thanks! -Paul
Stay frosty?????? Hahahaha 🗣️
For 2024, ghost needs all the upgrades they're putting on the new scooters, without having to buy a kit.
Interesting idea!
I just ordered this scooter tonight. I had a bad experience with the roadrunner RS5 and just want something simple to ride around the neighborhood on. It’s a downgrade from roadrunner but it will suffice for the simple paved riding I want to do.
Hope you enjoy it!
Their lightest, but still very heavy in it's class
Lighter options are available
Niu Air vs Apollo Air?
I'd have to ask Mitchell, I haven't ridden the NIU Air yet, since he tested that one in Germany. My guess is that ride quality is better on the Apollo and of course, weight is better on the NIU. Style points are high for both. -Paul
You might have just helped sell me one of these!
Cool! Use Code RIDERGUIDE for $50 off
Apollo Air 2023 or the Segway F2 PRO?
They're pretty close. The Air 2023 is a little faster and goes a little further, and feels a little nicer in terms of the over all finish, but they're both great scooters. The one performance difference that stands out is the F2 Pro has a fairly long stopping distance from 15mph at 17 ft. -Paul
Just for the Regen throttle alone, I think the Air is superior!
Is this water proof
IP66 Water resistance :-) (which means highly water resistant, and one of the highest on the scooter market)
Resistant
I have both. MAx G2 a LOT better with the double hydraulique back suspension
You have the 2023 Air? The ride is noticeably better for 2023 than 2022x but it’s true it doesn’t have rear suspension. -Paul
That's why i will receive my new City Pro on tuesday in Quebec. Hope riding a bit before winter here :)
ninebot g2 max is better 👌🏻 have lil more range lil better acceleration and suspsenion at rear not only at front its only heavier and maybe have weaker steam mechnaism and yea is less portable but like for me i take g2 max 👍🏻
Agree
Both are excellent options
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide depend on needs its better than g1 but worse than g2 except portsbility 👍🏻
Pick me, my wife needs a scooter and we need a blessing
Good luck!
The Phantom desperately needs the new V8 throttles. It currently has an “off the shelf” throttle that they did not design. These new ones are far superior
The 2023 Apollo Phantom v3 has the new throttle, and if you had the Phantom v2, you could buy the upgrade kit and get it
Noted! Thanks for stopping by.
The throttle does not look the same as the V3. The V3 has the loose rubber casing on the throttle but the Air 2023 has the hard plastic shell on the throttle.
@@johnathanbellette2490 well, either way, the 2023 v3 throttle is an entirely new one, not off the shelf
@@unboxtheworld5869 indeed. They probably both function the same, just that the Air 2023 throttle seems more robust in its design.
Hmmm kind of sus. Looks like comments are being removed that call into question Apollo's quality control and customer service. Thought I could trust this channel but I guess I was wrong.
Wasn't me, but if someone has something of substance to say, we'll typically leave it, or respond to it if we feel like we can shed some light. But comments like "brand X sux", or other name calling won't always get to stay. Usually I'm around all day in the comments and have time to respond, but today I'm trying to crank out one more review before heading off to the races. -Paul
220lb rider weight is somewhat of a let down
I think it's mostly rated at that weight because of hill climbing ability, not the strength of the scooter itself. -Paul
Only winners leave comments 😀
So True! -Paul
light ? 18kg ? LOL
That’s light compared to the others
Random Xiaomi M365 Essential bike is 12kg come on @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
