Awesome addition to the park
These Zierer Star Shapes are some of my favourite flat rides!
First Zierer Star Shape to be built in North America. An absolutely stunning ride, and the ride experience is truly unique. Looking forward to 2021
Wait but isn’t a Star Shape just a Frisbee that can go upside down combined with a Shockwave?
Can't wait for them to start their spending spree. It's about time we get another TRUE theme park!! Interested to see what coasters/rides are to come next.
Oh and hopefully they keep Dragon Mountain for as long as they can!
Clearly they are hurting for money since Dragon Mountain isn't open, and they couldn't get this fully completed ride opened for 2021 season either. Spending spree should have happened nearly 20 years ago when this park was actually making money. Lots of potential, bad leadership. John wanted to be like Walt Disney, but idk if he ever had a real plan.
@@Jushwa The problem is that John was loan adverse. He despised taking out loans and would rather save money from park ticket sales to pay for new attractions. Well, that can take 10 to 20 years for enough money to materialize. And in the meantime, people stop coming.
@@robmausser yup right on. And the animals suffered the whole time too.
Arent they investing in like 5 new rides over the next 2 years or something? THis park has so much potential and im glad there finally using it and bringing it out
Lol potential for bankruptcy when the animal abuse charges finally get laid on them
looks like such a fun ride! also that drone footage was absolutely gorgeous
This thrill ride looks amazing!
Looks great!
And intense!
I love it! I will say it's unfortunate it isn't covered in maple leafs. The stars feel somewhat common.
coming from buffalo, i haven’t been to this park in years and i was very little then. didn’t have the guts to go on dragon mountain but i wasn’t very much of an enthusiast back then. can’t wait to see what they do with this park and the amount of potential it has!
Unfortunately one or two new attractions aren't going to do much for attendance. This park has so much potential with the land it owns but it needs be filled with attractions. Walking for miles without seeing anything isn't fun. It's going to take a whole lot of financial backing and creativity to live up to its potential.
they probably can’t afford new rides right now.
@@emma.s.1 no they likley spent a lot of it on a fence + thousands of planted trees surrounding the massive property. As well as on a trailer park that they destroyed and evicted everyone even though it was making them money.
@Rᴀɴᴅᴏᴍɴᴇss_Eᴅɪᴛᴢ if they can't afford a $10million ride, then they won't be getting a lot more rides. This place needs to be closed or sold to a legitimate theme park banner.
This just makes Canada have even a better flat ride collection
I know right haha flat ride country of the world 🤣
OMG I Can’t wait to ride this... we will be there opening day 2021 for sure !!!!!
Can’t wait.
So glad to see Marineland getting investments, hopefully they go the path of Seaworld and transition into an amusement park instead of trapping animals, they could improve their reputation and become a much better park. Chances are they will try to keep Dragon Mountain as long as possible too, which is good since I was worried I wasn't going to get a chance to ride it before it closes. I am a huge fan of the double loops on Dragon Fyre and the ones on Dragon Mountain look 100x better, can't wait to get out there one day! Thanks for the update.
Wow, that is not what I had in mind when you previously discussed it, the seat rotation is a very cool suprise and makes for vary different moments like that cool stall on top where you can relax and enjoy the view before diving into it again. At first I thought it was moving too slow, that it might not produce strong forces but with all the rotations this should be a truly awesome experience, can’t wait!
It’s going to be absolutely amazing
Wow they finally let them put the ride together that's great there was a lot of delays
Whoa, I’m Dizzy!
Thing spins on 3 different axis. This would be a very intense ride!😳 Not for the faint of heart.
Wow I can see in not too far future marine land Becoming a wonderland
Any word if they're opening this summer? I have been on one of these at a fair and oh my it's an awesome ride.
That hang time tho 😬😬😬
Oh ok so it's basically the same as that Star Dancer ride we got last year at the CNE.
Looks like fun
Looks amazing
In my opinion, Marineland was the last park I would expect to get a new, major ride.
3:38 the sound of my Marineland childhood
:(
The Vomit Comet!
Do they really hold them up at the top that long before going back down😱& is this where magical experience used to be❓
It’s where topple tower was located (across from the entrance to dragon mountain)
@@gabbieb9798 I'll have to google the ride as I don't remember that 1.
Haha yes they do Diana 😂 you going to come ride it with us next year? Haha
@@AmusementInsiders If I'm drunk is probably the only way you'll get me on it🤣
@@AmusementInsiders And if you're driving as I don't have a license😉
Only I would think the midway was a road. Lol. I was like why did they put the ride on the side of the road 😂😂 makes no sense how much land they have not used over the years they have been opened. Hopefully they put a little more spin to it
Awesome now all they have to do is add 50 more 😁
I know it’s still just testing, but it already looks more reliable than Xcalibur at Six Flags St Louis
Is this ride replacing any old ride?
If I remember correctly, it went where their old topple tower used to be.
I wanna see a major new roller coaster at least 200 feet or 5+ inversions
wow
I know right 🤤
Hopefully we’ll be able to visit our neighbors to the north next year. Haven’t been to Marineland since the early 90s and my favorite Arrow looper is there!
that looks fun but i kinda wish they put it in a more relevant spot, like not so far from the rest of the park
It’s directly across from dragon mountain so it’s not that far
What ride used to utilize this space in the park?
Topple Tower :)
Wow this is really great to see. I didn't know they were adding something new. That park doesn't look that great tbh but hopefully it will get better if they continue with new investments!
So excited for this parks future
Problem is, they have some decent attractions,(not too many though)but the thing is that I've heard they've Ben treating their animals Horribly. If they fix that, I'm sure the park would be fantastic.
THIS
@@dylanpuccio3448 ?
Its been 8 years I believe since Ocean Odyssey
such a Lonely ride
More rides coming soon 🧚🤩
What, Marineland did something
And even more coming 🧚
I thought they closed years ago, and I live less than an hour away😭😭 marine land is lackin, it’s probably the weirdest place to go for rides, Canada’s wonderland destroyed marine land
Do you know if this is now working for the 2022 season?
it says coming soon on the website
it is open now
Love it! But I'm torn, there's so few Canadian theme parks to visit and yet this one is tainted by their animal rights record. :-(
Hey Kevin, we have been to this park a ton this season and we have seen zero evidence of animal abuse. All the employees love their jobs there and they even have playtime for the animals with toys to stimulate them. They feed them very often and are working with a university to be even better :)
@@AmusementInsiders Thanks very much for that. FYI: Canada's Wonderland Frontier Canada Now Open is one of my favourite videos, I circle back to it about once a month. Great job!
@@AmusementInsiders It's true; they have the same high level of animal care as any other modern animal park, they just get slandered a lot more than other places by someone I'm sure you're familiar with.
Seems pretty loud. Wouldn't this be disturbing for the animals in the area?
Helll naww
This one ride is probably not going to bring in a ton of people
So why isn't it open in 2021? Too little too late for Marineland. Should have treated your animals better instead of buying land and destroying 47 families' homes and only giving them $3000 in return. Oh and going nuts with the path tool as well when you have hardly any rides. Why isn't Dragon Mountain open for the 2021 season? What about sky hawk? They can't even afford to maintain the rides they already own. My guess is 2021 is the last year for marineland. I am wondering what will happen to the animals.
its open lol
