I was hoping you made a video with an upgraded carburetor and here it is :) Yes valve springs would be in order I just hope the rod is decent and it's balanced. Top speed could have dropped due to rich jetting on top end. Shutting it off right at top speed and reading the plug would tell you a lot. With all those 4 stroke engines you should get a wideband like the AEM to know your a/f ratio so you can get the most out of the engine. Can you get stronger clutch springs to get a higher RPM off the line? That would help the 0-30 a lot since it sounds like the engine has plenty of power once the rpm's get up a bit..

Hey hows it going, I had emailed you a while back about jetting a pe24mm carb well the idle screw houseing broke on that one so I'm going with the nibbi since it looks like a copy. I know you said you were at elevation. I started with a 40 pilot and a 140 main on the real keihin pe 24mm carb and the plug came out looking like it barely ran slight tan ring. "new build". Only had a bog off idle and could barely adjust the air screw out so I was guessing more pilot. Anyway I know elevation plays a huge role in it but it's at least a starting point when I get the nibbi in because I don't think the fix I came up with will last the vibrations ripping around the dirt oval.
