- On this episode our Liberty Walk bodykit Lamborghini Gallardo with a 2JZ swap drift car gets a custom angle kit from FDF Raceshop and one-off 3 piece wheels from Strom Wheels. When building a car that nobody else has built, we were bound to run into issues. The 2JZ swap was giving issues, but not as much as the steering angle kit! This is the tough part of the build that would need a lot of patience to solve. Can we get the 2JZ Lamborghini ready in time? Will the Liberty Walk kit go back on without issues on this build? Sit back and enjoy a trip into the unknown...

silver or polished wheels would be better imo, black makes it hard to see the detail i think

Strom needs to sell those rear wheels as a set! I'd buy em! The black wheels do get lost against the paint though, but I'll reserve judgement for the completed car.

when i first saw Josiah's S14 he became my fav car builder, been following him for a couple years now. Every time i see him in a video i find myself admiring his craft even more!

DriftGames great vid and remember theirs always gonna be a few tweaks and trimming and repositioning everything to get it to fit you move one thing you get an inch or so this way you move that and trim a little you get the same so i know with your guys skills you got this and keep up the great work 👍
Chop and fiberglass the tub, with a slightly smaller diameter wheel maybe, I guess. You are this deep already, might as well go all the way. The rear wheels look sick, the fronts are growing on me.
Get a hold of DDE they know everything about these cars

What about running the standard front-wheel paint satin black and then put a carbon brake dust cover on the outside like James deanes RX7 ? Keep them stroms for static shows etc

You might be better doing a tube front end on the lambo to get the wheels to fit. It would be a lot of cutting and a lot of work but i dont know how else you could do it. Also im surprised the liberty walk kit looks so mild. It looks good but i thought it would be way more obnoxious, got to fit it in the trailer i guess😂

Currently not a huge of the wheels, not sure if black was the move, but the car isn't done yet so I'll reserve judgment.
Josiah demonstrating his skills are one of the many reasons Im a FDF fanboi and I dont even have a kit yet, bro is a wizard.
The LW kit and new wheels are real nice but then the beautiful and aggressive lines are hidden by the black paint. Not my cup of tea but not an easy job. Love the videos all the same. Buala Bos.
The solution is a custom tubular set of A-arms to make it wider but you don't seem to have time for that. Good luck guys

awesome but black wheels need to have some kind of color on it to look awesome in vidz and pictures. black don't cut it unless its parked. at least put some osrt of color on a bar or half the wheel. you want it to look awesome slidling add colors to the wheels, dont get me wrong the wheels look awesome in black but black is the darkest color and in a drift environment, you want everyone to see that wheel spining like crazy with rpm...... look back at this video when the wheels on the car and yall looking at, on video its hard to see the design unless the camera is legit steady. so if its spining and the spokes are that close to one another it will just look like a steelie rim, at least put some kind of color or sticker on it that is bright in contrast etc.
try make wheel caps that stay logo up while driving that would be cool
Some spacers won’t help.?something you can throw on when going on track and take off when just showing the car.. quick raise and spacer and good to go… or some drag skinnies with a super sticky tire to make up the size difference 🥴
Obviously too late but they do make a wheel figment jig to test if your wheel / tire will work. Just saying.

Drill a hole in corners to cut to, then you already have a radius in the corner instead of a point for a crack to start.

What diameter are the fronts? Can they be taken down to like 18”?
Obviously you’ve had the wheels custom made but if they were 18 & 19 staggered you’d have more room…?
