Nas won! Good video, last line is a lame take, “Nas won the battle, but Jay won the war”, the battle is the war, they’re literally one and the same. If you’re making diss records about each other and one person clearly wins, that’s it, it’s over. That’s exactly what happened, Takeover came out and had people hype that Nas was done, Nas drops Ether on Jay’s birthday of all days, then some other tracks that never get talked about release some time after. Ether was the nuclear bomb that dropped on the city and the other disses that came after were some random gunshots that no one really remembers. The fact that Nas signed to Def Jam after they got together on stage isn’t Jay winning anything, Jay literally gave up and signed the dude that beat him. Nobody but Jay loyalists think that Jay won. If you’re a hip hop fan you know that Nas won. Ether is now a hip hop word that essentially means when you body an opponent, yall history revisionist need to stop. Be glad that Jay bagged BeyoncĂ© and is now worth billions, he’s winning as a business man, but yall need to quit pretending Jay won anything against Nas, he lost the battle/war.

I never thought about it before. Jay Z made fun of Prodigy for dressing like Michael Jackson, but then he proudly brings out Micheal Jackson at Summer Jam. That was strange and hypocritical.

Yeah thats jay z. Prodigy said also that when they met, Jay reached out his hand to shake P‘s hand and said that it was only music, nothing personal but in his disses, he told smth else lol

@@LyricalHipHopOfficialNot doing it! All ready been decided and certified! I was there as well! Jay got bodied man he and his whole squad at rockafella records! His own man’s had to keep it 💯 nas battle tested! Nothing to mess with! Jay ain’t the only ones who got it from Nasty Nas! Nas a soldier in hip hop lethal on the microphone đŸŽ€ and he bodied them all! If you know you know! Let’s just say he held his own against the best of the best and still doing it! In my opinion!

what if nas dropped ether as a response to tupac in 1996 if pac was alive and they never squash the beef cause pac once called it was written and illmatic wack he said nas can't rap so what if nas wasn't scared and responded harder and deadlier cause pac was a fan of nas and nas was a fan of 2pac before 96 this was after hit em up jay z was on the original nas and wutang were spared only big and mobb deep chino got targeted on the song
so if he dropped it would he been the king of ny and get killed with pac and big cuz of the song
