I unfortunately don't know, I haven't tested those lenses.

I used this lens on Nex-6. The lens seems to have a lot of CA even when I enabled correction within camera. Not sure if the camera is bad or the lens in my case.

In that case you can further remove the CA in editing software such as Adobe Lightroom.

my copy of the lens also only uses the focus points in the center
drives me nuts

+Ulises Martinez You need to set it to AF-S, but it still works the best with those focus points in the center, take a look at my new video about this lens.

Do you find this to be a problem? I'm thinking of picking this lens of as primarily a vlogging lens but I dont want to run into focus issues.

For me it isn't that big of a deal, but here are other problems with AF, it sometimes drifts in and out of focus without reason in AF-C which creates pleasant jitter, take a look at my final review of this lens, I tak about this in that video: czcams.com/video/rUhPtWHbGuc/video.html
