Answer is maybe. Liver transplant decision after evaluation with Cholangiocarcinoma.

Tampa General held their transplant committee meeting today and discussed my case. After nearly 3 hours two of the members had the tough job of telling me that I was not chosen for candidacy on the list here at TGH. Only moments later did the same two doctors come back and let me know there were a few other people who wanted to be a part of the process and they will be reconvening on Thursday to discuss the case more.
In the meantime I’m still stuck here in the hospital fighting off the E. coli infection.
It has been a roller coaster of emotions, and more phone calls to family than I can count. The biggest fear is the unknown. Even if approved, is this the right thing?
