That used to be called "Troop Leading Procedures". FM 7-8 is a great reference for squad/platoon size elements. Where in WV is this camp? Always utilize METT-T during planning phases and implement FRAGO's when missions change- Drive On Troop-

I wear the shoulder straps over the LCE shoulder straps. I’ve actually removed the hip belt of the CFP-90 rucksack. This is unfortunate because the hip belt is good because it shifts the weight from the shoulders and back to the hips for a more evenly distributed load. Unfortunately, the hip belt interferes with access to the things like ammo pouches and canteen. This no doubt causes Soldiers to have back and shoulder issues later in life.
