I preferred th A1 sights. I remember as a young Private hearing stories about Airborne guys breaking the A2 sights when they jump. Not that the Army ever gave me a choice.
Give the guy a break he's been out for a min. Plus Kpots can defect 762 if you're very lucky it's rare, but dose happen. Without information spreading like how we do now old guy thinks it stops vs defect at best 😅

I think LCE comes from ALICE. All-purpose Lightweight Individual Load Carrying Equipment. I heard it both ways.
