One Line at a Time, Episode #1 (The Good Place)

- I'm starting a brand-new series today, One Line at a Time. In each episode, we'll look at one line from whatever TV show or movie I'm currently into on Netflix (starting with "The Good Place").
I'll tell you what the character said in English, how the subtitlers translated it in Spanish, and I'll point out anything that gets my attention--anything I find interesting or tricky.

Wow! It’s really different for me, I’m from Mexico and this show helped me a lot to practice English! I can't believe that there are people who are practicing Spanish with the same show! The Good Place is one of my favorite shows! I’ve been watching the Spanish dubs along with some Marvel movies and Twitch streams. Currently working though the end of your Logical Spanish course-looking forward to this series from you!
This is SUCH a great idea. I love the good place! I've got a couple of friends who will really like this video. Please consider a future episode with Jane the Virgin. It is a bilingual show where the main characters often respond to english with spanish and spanish with english. It might be really cool for this format. THANKS AGAIN! love your channel.

This is a great idea!! It helps overcome that barrier of feeling like learning is too much work by engaging the learner with something that is interesting to them and relevant, and in short enough tid bits to keep attention. Thank you for all your content, you helped me survive through my Spanish class last year when I had no one to teach me (including my professor)!
