Dark fate was so underwhelming. The baddie was good, the acting was ok, but there was just no... moment. I’ll say is about as good as T3 - the baddies in DF was better, but the amazing scenes of the ‘first moments’ of skynet , and that the nuclear war can’t be avoided in T3 were great.

@@laz001 Agreed. I like the movie as a SEPERATE INSTALLMENT, that is when I watch it, I do not consider it to be part of T1 or T2: Judgment Day, the latter being my favorite movie of all time. Dark Fate is something you watch when you want to watch something with a lot of action and little story telling. Predator is a movie like that, not a strong storyline, but awesome to watch!

A quick IMDB looks like he has always been active up to current. He was doing great movies like The Rock and not so great movies like Navy SEALS in the 90s and still working.
You won't see him on TMZ, his career has brought him to the point of being called Iconic. Thats about the highest honor one can ask for. He will be an old man still being called Kyle Reese.

A lot of things influence how we age but sometimes even if you do everything right it can be less and graceful. It's great seeing Michael Biehn here even if he's now a little older for the ware but people never really comprehend just how fast time will fly by until we wake up one day and suddenly it hits you just how OLD you look.

Often in love stories, we men feel determined to protect the women we love at all costs, it's a feeling most men can identify with and relate to it in classic movies. Unfortunately in these years, studios are too busy making women so tough, independent and away from being "the girlfriend" that it seems a taboo thing to make relationships like they used to be back in the day.

The original Terminator movie will always be my favourite out of all of them. I get that the mainstream probably enjoy T2 the most, but to me the original is the perfect Terminator movie.
Its a dark, gritty, sci-fi/horror, thriller. Whereas i think T2 is more of a fun, over-the-top action blockbuster, buddy-buddy movie. The Dyson subplot breaks the building tension and pacing in T2, but the original keeps the pacing and tension building because its 100 percent focused on the protagonists desperately trying to stay one step ahead of the Terminator all the way through the movie, and the protagonists are always out matched. But the protagonists in T2 aren't outmatched because they have a Terminator always there protecting them.

It is sad to see so many of my childhood idols/heros get old.
They were larger than life in my youth.
All us 80's kids are experiencing a bittersweet time when we see our childhood cultural icons age and pass away/fade just like us.
Now I know how my Grandparents felt when their "Times" and stars got old and passed away.

He should be given an Oscar for his Realism and Pure Survival instincts. This guy caught your attention from the first scene until well... right now. Triple AAA Actor and he deserves at least 3 Oscars. Respect. RH DSD

Michael Biehn is such a mensch. So down-to-Earth, you feel like he could be your next-door neighbor. He’s a major part of the reason that Terminator and Aliens are the classics that they are.

He was memorable and you bonded with the characters he portrayed. You invested your emotions to a fictitious character. It takes a good actor with screen presence to do that.

The troll SS True. I don’t mean to take anything away from his talent as an actor.
But it’s also how he talks about his co-star and gives credit to the stuntman, where some other actors hype the limited stunt work they do.

Part man, part machine. Underneath, it's a hyper alloy combat chassis, microprocessor-controlled, fully armoured. Very tough.

Glad to hear some behind the scenes, the stunt (as described @2:05) where Kyle arrives in the present is *totally* crazy to me.
I know a lot of people are saying, "what's the big deal, he just dropped onto concrete?", but a *much* smaller fall for me ended with a hip and femur shattered in 4 different locations and a lifetime reminder of what a mistake I'd made.
Stunt performers are total badasses as far as I'm concerned, and don't usually get anywhere *near* the recognition they deserve.

Hassan Syed Alien 5 is being written and set to be directed by Neil Blomkamp, and the director have said it himself that his version of Alien 5 will be the true sequel to Alien and Aliens. So I guess the upcoming Alien 5 IS the real Alien 3. I'm assuming Fincher's Alien 3 and god-knows-who's Alien Resurrection are just Ripley's bad cryostasis dream.
