@@thetexasgunvault The extractor had me stumped
Sir you are a life saver thank you very much.
You are very welcome. I am glad I could help!
I just picked up my henry big boy today, doing the new gun, clean it thing before you shoot it. this video was priceless. thank you
I really appreciate that and it is why I make these. I just want to help others out.
Thanks for the guide. Simple as it can get.
Glad it helped
This video did help me, thank you for the simple straightforward presentation.
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful video, thanks. You have a very friendly and clear voice (and very family friendly delivery, so my kids can listen in the background and I don't have to worry about curse words, etc.), which is great at imparting the information needed in a concise manner. Thanks, from Canada
You're very welcome! I always keep my videos G rated.
Excellant video. I had an issue with mine and the extractor fell out while i was changing out a bad blued lever that henry stood behind and sent me a new lever. Your video simplified how to put it back together and i just want to say THANK YOU, SIR!
I am so glad it helped! This is why I enjoy making these videos.
Good morning, Jason, and yes, I am sorry I am a day late. We had a funeral to attend a few hours away. Anyway, back now and catching up. Cheers
Glad to see you back Andrew. I am sorry for your loss.
Great instructional video. Not too much information and not too little. Thanks
You are very welcome and I am glad you enjoyed it.
Same one i have, case hardened but in 357 mag. After 1k rounds, just took it apart to clean today. Very easy... but i couldn't figure out the pinky trick. Huge help on that part. Liked the video thanks a bunch.
You are very welcome! I am glad it helped.
On my Big Boy Steel Side Gate Carbine in .357 the hammer drags on the bolt, making inserting it while holding the extractor in place a little tricky.
Is that something that can be fixed?
Gotcha. It's the same as the Marlin action, which makes it easy for me :-)
Yes it is.
Bro this helped me so much thank you
No problem 👍
in practice most would just hose it out with brake kleen and swab the bore then lube it but yeah id rather do it right
LOL, that sounds a little uncivilized for me.
have you done a video on "field stripping" a golden boy 22 ? If not could you plz ??
If I ever get a chance to review one, I will.
Can you recommend a quality screwdriver set?
Brownells sells a couple of nice dedicated gunsmithing sets I like.
