- I am building my own house as an owner builder and in this video I build the 5018 sq ft concrete foundation. I took complete control of this process by purchasing all of the material and hiring several different labor only subcontractors to build the concrete slab on grade foundation. This is my first custom home build so hit the subscribe button to watch it all happen.

As a 28 year old, living in Houston Texas, in the construction world, you're an inspiration! keep it up!
man, this guy really is God bless him
That conversation in spanish about the burst pipe was so funny haha
This dude is very inspiring and he is so young. Keep going man!
I am real estate investor in Tampa and I currently have long term and short term this has been a goal of mine to develop and watching your videos is extremely informative. Keep them coming.
You give me hope for the future of our country bro. Thanks for keeping the American builder spirit alive!
Great job! Make sure ALL your framing crew knows that your concrete is the finished floor. They tend to drive nails in the concrete for supports.
I made that mistake already 🤦🏻♂️ live and learn!
Thanks for the heads up attempt tho!
@@CaseLucasRobinson another thing I hate that framers do is build scaffolding and saw horses with the framing material. Fucking drives me nuts.
@@justinb1606 ...They should supply their own materials for that.
I am your subscriber from Kenya I love your work and hard work congratulations.
Really have enjoyed hearing your journey with building your own houses waiting on the next video good job

I work in post tension home slab building in the Houston area and this was so cool to watch from someone else's point of view. You're a great supervisor! Subcontractors did great work and the finish came out great
Thank you!

thanks for the post. I had the dream of building my own house. I gave it up. However, because of videos like your, I am buying some lad in two weeks. The dream is back on the table.
great video
You are a second person in the world I never subscribed in their CZcams channel cause you are an example for me, keep it up bro
Been waiting on this one for a while!
Same!!
Is the proceess similar wjen your bilding a brick or stone wall house??
House is gonna be sick once complete!!!
If the pump trucks not at the house. Ot lot. You don’t need to pay. The travel bs. Is on the driver. And the mix. Is on the company who mixed it. So long story short. He got his breakfast paid for in full and took a Hr off. Depending on mix. You have 5 to 8 hours. Before you have to jack hammer it out of the truck. If your pumping the mud your on the high side.
Wow, everything you share is truly incredible, immensely valuable. You consistently provide high-quality content, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship! The fact that you managed to arrange the concrete pumping truck and be there overseeing it all, wow. You've truly impressed me, buddy.
It’s ashamed we can’t do basements here on our side of Texas. The Woodlands area is anywhere from 125-175 feet above sea level. NYC is 33 feet above and they building up to the shore line sometimes 2-3 levels below grade.
An unfinished basement doesn’t get taxed so literally free work space with mechanicals and everything.
Great job BTW, never thought about anything on the east side. Everything and all the hype is on the west side of the highway. That’s where I’ve always built.
I’m not sure you like trusses in Texas but if you do. You will use less grade beams.
I’m going through the same process right now. Anyway you could list out all the materials you needed to provide for this job?
Good shit bruh! Keep doing what you do.
where is the link?, building my own home next year
Good foundations, like the standard ones in Asian countries, are different from other foundations I've seen on CZcams in America.
Keep it up, Case!
With your septic, is that a ecoflo system where the bacteria gets neutralized by UV?
Slick finish in concrete isnt slippery even when wet, but of course it is more slippery than a broom finish
How many yards did you end up using to complete the foundation pour?
did the ground get poisoned for termites?
Ur Spanish has gotten better
Gracias, Necesito estudiar mas español. Me gusto cuando yo hablo con mi muchachos, pero es no perfecto ahorita. Siguente ano lo hare hablo mas español. Talves perfecto en el futuro. Thanks for noticing and supporting the channel!
Amazing entrepreneur spirit. I get inspired by you. Thanks for that.
definately a barndo house and a farmhouse or big ranch house
You ever drive by the Stud Pack house?
You didn't mention the cost in the "Tour & Cost Breakdown" part of video unless I missed it?
How much was each yard on concrete?
wh did you take the other vid down
You work hard dude and you do a great job. Good to see in the younger generation
You are living a dream bro 🔥
How did you learn spanish ? School? Parents speak spanish?
Love your videos very inspiring and informative
Get it!
Why didn't you tell us whether you tested the plumbing for airtightness before pouring the concrete? You KNOW how that went the last time, right?!
May someone explain why no basement? Isn't Texas often hit with hurricanes?
The water table in this part of Texas is too high to do basements - If you tried digging deep enough for a basement, the room would be flooded nonstop. It’s just not worth the expense to try to place an extra room lower than where the water is sitting.
Never saw the cost break down
that 7 acres i repossesed , im gonna turn into 2 or 3 houses
Neighbors love that TREX cold start huh?! lol! Keep grinding man!
Haha especially at 5:30 am!
you go man ...
Why did you reupload?
Most likely to blur out building plans he blurred out as copyright in vid.
I’m looking to build a house myself. What gets inspections on a new build? And does every tradesmen need to be licensed?
Thanks Guys Got 10 Subscribers From This Channel❤❤❤
