It sure don't seem like 4 years! I remember when you said you had a big surprise in store for all your viewers. Gosh, doesnt time absolutely fly !!! I must say that you've done so well thus far. Don't give up! Your own little piece of country will be so valuable in the way of flora and fauna, trees, ... the list is endless. I'm so proud of you and happy for you, to have your dreams come to fruition ( some of mine were stopped due to hubby's health ). Best of luck, Mitch. Keep on keeping on. ❤❤❤

As a European this is what I think of when thinking of the States and not New York City or Los Angeles like my peers do. This is the American Dream

I am not convinced if a irrigation system is really necessary. I plant indegenous trees in the right season, soak them with water, and I do it weeks later, if there is no rain. In the following years the trees will grow just with rain. One long enough hose and a rainwater tank will do it.

Mitch…you are probably one of the most organized and methodical people I’ve ever seen. You are truly an inspiration on how to do something the right way. It’s a joy to see your projects come to fruition. Stay well!!!

If your ground laying your pipe, why did you bother to bury the values and use boxes? I would have just built an above-ground manifold supplied by an underground main line.

  • @riverrun5964

Hey Mitch. I know you're super busy, but please consider doing a Q&A soon. I follow Detail Geek as well and would love to see a few things on either channel.

  • @kylebouyers51

My lazy butt would just get a bunch of soaker hoses from Dollarama.

  • @amandacalderon4023

A chair at the back of the property on a clear day watching the sunset would be on a whole other level of inner peace 🤗

qualifiacations must be willing to travel for weeks at a time, tools are supplied by hope and sonny... you get company credit card and truck 15% draw when job is started and remainer after its finished, sometimes u might stay in hotels or campers on jobsites 10$ per diem, journeymen cards fetch more salaries also

  • @B-Man90

That’s funny when I put my irrigation system in my yard, I use the trencher to dig the valve box hole 😂

Mitch, you are a true visionary. How you think about, plan for, and execute the largest projects down to the smallest of details is really incredible. Thank you for bringing us along on this journey with you! Praying God’s blessings over you and your property!

  • @leonardo3011

Today you presented us with two extremely satisfying videos. Thanks so much for this, Mitch. And please tell Mike we want to see him do the hard work too.

Amazing work Mitch 🌳🌳🌳 And remember - "weeds" are just plants that naturally thrive in your area. Many of them will bloom and create structure and diversity to your view. My best tip is don't fight them, but guide them or overpower them. Meaning leave some zones wild, and others more controlled. And plant things that overpower or overshadow weeds in select zones. Less to manage, and makes for a more exciting landscape 🌼

  • @randallsmith7124

Nice work Mitch... while I know it's a HUGE amount of work, it must also be extremely satisfying to realize your vision EXACTLY as you want it!

  • @prasadkumta3432

Mitch Build a campfire space and spend time with family 😊 u deserve it ❤️

  • @citibear57

Mitch, I am really impressed with your work ethic. You certainly aren't afraid of hard work! Your efforts now are going to reward you handsomely in the future. I look foward to seeing what else you have in store for the rest of your massive yard in the years to come 😊👍

  • @eugenedanker2377

It would be great to have a tour of your new house. It's nearly as big as your shop.

  • @robertgastreich9846

Mitch...I love watching you do detail every Friday and now back to the yard. You are the hardest working young man on you tube I have every watched.

  • @yamo_chan

If you haven’t yet done so, I recommend making an extension to your home plumbing map to include your irrigation system. It will make your life so much easier many years down the road, or for whoever might end up buying / inheriting your place in the future.

  • @lilliethornton9353

Mitch, I've been watching you for quite awhile now and looking at all the work you're doing, I'm really looking forward to the results. 🤗
