- I had 250 yards of dirt delivered and it's time to get it spread!
Subscribe and come along for the ride as I show you every satisfying detail of the construction of my acreage! From building a custom detailing studio and shop, to building a new house...that's just the beginning! The projects only get bigger as I build one of the most beautiful, unique and epic acreages around!
Super curious to know what you guys think of this video! Which angle did you find the most pleasing to watch? Inside the cab POV? Drone footage? GoPro on top of Bobby?
Yeah I like the Drone footage but actually I like it all but the drone footage actually makes them trees like you got got them all too close together packed in like sardines.
I thot it was like 360° Sattelite..my head start'g 2 get woozie.🤣😂
You bopping in the cab in the end shot, looking cool, was a great end to this video. Go Mitch!! 🚜🥾🦺
I like all three perspectives, but drone and GoPro more than inside the cab. The mix in the editing gives a good overall view of the project.
There's a method to the madness, don't worry.@@elizabethannfarrow1971
Aw!!!!! What an amazing 360* degree increases the view of an excellent environment. It is the best drone. The yardGeek is number# 1 in the video. 👍👏🚜
It's the classic story, Mitch. Boy meets dirt. Boy gets dirt. Boy dumps dirt. Boy goes back and gets more dirt. Anyway, liked the drone footage best, best persective of your large lot.
Haha so true! Glad you enjoyed it!
Daughter: "Daddy, what are you watching?"
Me: "A man moving dirt"
Why am I so excited that you have multiple channels? 🎉🎉
I finally reached my day off (fingers crossed -I'm on call 😭) and can watch football and my two favorite channels - The Detail Geek and The Yard Geek!! 🎉 Can't wait to see what this week brings!
I like the mix of perspectives. The drone shots were great, the top of cab shots tied it all together.
Awesome, thank you!
I also feel that the combination of drone and bobcat pov footage works great together. One compliments the other. Having just the drone or bobcat footage by itself would get a little stagnant when watching. Great work without all mate (the videos, the projects, the work and time you put in).
Driving a Bobcat is definitely a skill. Growing up driving one makes things like this go smoothly for me. It’s amazing what a really skilled person can do with one.
Man i admire your patience Mitch lol. That's going to take a while with that bobcat. I'd be seeing if i could rent a front end loader and a grader to spread all that dirt out and then even it up. Would be so much faster
The most beautiful technology of the drone shows us that you work roughly 250 dry dirt. Have a good one, my friend! 😊❤️
Awesome love and support from INDIA 😊😊❤❤
This episode is very interesting and I enjoyed watching it! Thank you so much for sharing! 💪💣🙃🤗❤️🔥❤️🔥You are a hard working man! Blessings! 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
This was strangely fascinating to watch. It's clear to me you sure got the hang of how to run bobby. I am guessing you took the plot elevation review and knew where to fill those gradients so they were even with the rest of the property while completing your concept for making the ice melt and water go the right route. I love the drone footage. But the go pro on the top of bobby's cab was a great view of you working well with the bucket and arms. So who was running bobby's clone? Your dad or one of your friends? The way you smoothly carried all that dirt was impressive. I liked the music you added. The slow jazz fit the concept very well. This was fun, thanks Mitch and have a great rest of the weekend. GO YARD GEEK!!! 💜🚜🥾🦺
Thanks Joel! Glad you enjoyed it! I was a little green operating Bobby but you'll see things get much smoother as time goes on haha. I find myself liking the drone footage too but also the POV angle. Very curious to see what the consensus is on this one 😀
I enjoy watching you change your property. Thank you for entertaining me.
I would straight up K I L L to be able to just follow you around all day!..
Everything you do is so aesthetically pleasing... 🥰
Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see more content!!!
Thank you!
Good job Mitch, keep up the good work.
I love all these plans you're carring out. I too would like to... one day-one day .... in the distant future 😄
Fabulous job what a clear site nice one Mitch 😎🇨🇮
Hey mate haven’t seen any videos for a couple of weeks have you stopped
Looking forward to seeing more
Cheers from Australia 🤗🤗
That made for a few days of work, lots of bouncing and pretty dusty. But having the equipment sure helps! I liked the view from inside the cab, really gave a feel of what you experienced. Great job Mitch!
Good to know!
Driving that Bobcat looks so much fun 😂. Still a lot of work to do which means more Yard Geek videos. Well done Mitch
SO many more videos!! 😄
You work so easily! Great work 👍
All I can think of is how much the neighbors must be enjoying the backup beeper🤦🏼♀️. Like many projects, it will be great when it’s finished.
I liked the mixture of shots. Made the video more visually interesting.
Good to know!
Love the GoPro on top of Bob❤️
Actually, I like all of the views. I can't wait to see the next video!
The drone footage is my favorite. I can see everything easily that way. xx
Good to know!
You've become like restoration channels. No dialog and just showing work with captions. Was Mike in the other skid steer?
It’s just one video….this style won’t be the norm.
Com on Mitch 😂 You stayed out in the Bobcat so you could give working with the lights on a try! Awesome as always 👌🏻🍺🏴
Great progress Mitch! 👊👍Appreciate you my friend 🙏
"Time to put Bobby to bed, he needs his beauty sleep" is so funny for no reason🤣🤣
I like the view from inside the cab
I like the GoPro view
Great job!
Might want to put the back up beeper on a switch.
Your neighbours might appreciate it.
Yo, you are an expert playing with those toys. Thanks for sharing and God bless! 🙏💪💣
I enjoyed every angle! 💪💣🙃🤗❤️🔥Thanks! ❤️😊
I think it was cute when you said bobby invited a friend to play in the dirt ❤😂😊
I like the smoothing part. It was all fun to watch though.
That drone shot was awesome 👌👏. What kind of drone do you use?
Recommend that you put to some stakes in key areas that are marked at the elevation you are working to achieve.
amazing series, keep up the good work!!
I would of had a lil fun with ruby or the quad with those dirt piles be4 spreading them out 😎
I did! Ripped around with my RC truck! 🤣
@@TheYardGeek lmao
As a heavy equipment operator myself, I like the operator pov, but can’t beat drone shots of action like digging into the stock pile or bailing the bucket out
Good to know!
I loved the whole video. It's fun watching the progress.
Thank you!
Great work mitch and in cab pov
I wonder how far behind we r n 'Real Time'...he's probably already got the house & g'radge shop driveway poured & paved n by now.
Now that Winter has once again found and hit Canada I wonder what he could possibly
plant @ this x of year?
I *Wish I could find a link 4 all them heavy equipment tools Geekster needed from the beginning...I was *really impressed w/those interchangeable machinery.
I seen a Ford Raptor w/ track wheels n place of tires.Geekster needs that 2.
🔥Happi Veterans Day WkEnd.🔥😢
Thats awesome how you was alble. To get all that dirt up
I have videos running in the background while working online or around the house, so having to read the screen means missing things the first time around. Not a problem, I just have to re-watch, which I do anyway. About Bobby and his beauty sleep, Bobby looks great wearing the dirt from good, hard, work. People look good like that, too, IMO.
Great job Mitch
I enjoyed the few shots of you bouncing around in the cab, preferred all the other views with no preference.
killer video
Doesn’t look like you’re wearing hearing protection. Gets some good hearing protection please. Its fun watching your growth in the business. Keep it up.
GoPro on top of Bobby! Great work Mitch!
Thanks! 👍
Love the progress! I liked the drone footage of the property and the one inside the cab. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, you too!
Don't be so modest, Mitch... you handle that Bobcat like Neil Peart handled his sticks.
That actually looks like fun. I like your sweatshirt. And i suppose the snow melted.
Was going to say something like "the boys and their toys, so much fun," but I really know it is not easy work. Could be relaxing ! But, as a subscriber to both of your channels, detailing and yard maintenance, your online store, and building a new home, I wonder if Mitch has a life outside all of this. Please tell your viewers what you do in your down time--restaurants, movies, day trips and vacations, and the like. Maybe time for a new "answering your burning questions" video.
Sweet
The work is looking good do ever like think of taking the back up alarm off when you are working at your house?
Good morning everyone! Let me grab my favorite hot tea. ☕😊
Hey Cynthia. I had a GIANT cup of coffee while watching this video. ☕ A great start to the morning, Coffee or Tea with our hard working friend Mitch! 😎
@@joelbuchanan471 😂 Hi Joel, I am scared of you, my friend. You are the clever giant cup of coffee better than me. 🤔 How comes? Agree! The YardGeek video is satisfactory. 😊
@@cynthiahopkins7090 The coffee is because I was out late with my friends. Dinner and drinks and then more drinks. So coffee is needed. LOL
Personally I enjoyed all of it and found it very relaxing. Great video!
Awesome
Do you use ruby as a work truck
u got experienced with that BobCat :)
I think Go Pro on Bobby and Drone footage ❤❤
Super curious about potential for solar on your lot and was wondering if that would ever be viable for you? I know you drilled a well for your yard and outdoor hookups to save on water bills so was wondering if an investment in solar for your house or shop would be worth it considering the price of oil at the moment. I know there are various green grants to offset initial cost but also know prices for oil and gas in the prairies can be much cheaper than other places in Canada
I’ve never clicked so fast
Make your videos longer
Ugh, you need a friend with a big cat, that must have taken forever
That’s looks like a Human Shape in the dirt, at 7:30.
Mitch, great video with a different style. Only thing I’d like is an audible short explanation what your doing with the dirt in the video but other than that it was very fun to watch. Just what I enjoyed from your past videos.
Noted!
@@TheYardGeek I have to be honest your video with the Detail Geek channel is so fun to watch. More specifically the part when you got to test drive the red Cadillac Escalade. You do really well at telling people what your doing and for what reason as is always fun to watch.
@@TheYardGeek been binge watching you since February of this year on the first channel.
@@TheYardGeek the by far best video in my opinion on your first channel is the black van video with the 18 - 20 hour cleaning videos on two occasions. I’ve shown several people the video and there always absolutely amazed by how beautiful the transformation from a beyond disgusting car to something that came from the factory is.
How did you learn to do all the stuff you do? It seems like there isn't much you don't know how to do.
You should wear hearing protection while on the bobcat, if your not already.....Is that your port-a-potty Mitch?????
Nice work! Any way they could have unloaded the topsoil closer to the area where you needed it? Save you a bunch of time and fuel 😉😉😉
It was wet and mucky in that area when they delivered the dirt so I unfortunately had to have them dump a little further away ☹️
Where do you park’s ruby
*Hopefully n'side the g'radge.
are you going to farm that land, or Ranch it in some way? Just wondering.
What I was wondering: Why didn't the company that delivered the dirt dump the material straight where it was supposed to go and distributed it somehow there?
It was wet in that area when they were able to bring dirt so I had to have them dump where it was dry ☹️
@@TheYardGeekI see! Thank you for the answer. Love your vids:-)
@7:42 who is driving the 2nd bobcat? Mike? or is it a deep fake? ur gf?
My guess is Mike,Dad, friend or photoshop.😂
Hello, I hope you are very well, I am signed in all your channels, now seeing the episodes of this channel and the first was great, but in this one you did not activate the translation and I understand half of what happens, I beg you to keep it activated, I see you from Buenos Aires, Argentina, congratulations ...
Mitch, I bet you dreamed of doing yardwork in your sleep! Lol... Saved a lot of money doing it yourself. 👍
You got that right!
Need a dozer for that kind of spreading
That would make it a lot easier for sure. Don't have the $$$ for one though 🤣
Why does he refer to his yard as the "back yard" and sometimes the "front yard" does he not realize he's too rich for that concept? It's just the yard, it isn't separated. lol
Why no new postings????
These videos take time. I’m already extremely busy, and do my best to fit these in as often as I can! Be patient.
Why not just build a retaining pond so you have more of your own gray water supply? Apocalypse friendly and cheaper solution. I mean hindsight but still...
That’s a very flat dirt bike track! 😂😂
At least I had some fun with my RC truck before I spread the dirt! 🤣
@@TheYardGeek sweet!
Hey Mitch, are you also a landlord?
Nope!
First
The video was cool but was too long and boring. Needed some dialogue of you explaining instead of text
Today's Crucifixion Is Tomorrow's Resurrection...like the Ashes of the Rising Phoenix.🤣😂
To be completely honest, I found this video very boring to watch. I don't give criticism easily or quickly, but I wanted to say it in this case. See it as constructive criticism. :-)
Well, this channel died in a hurry
I have a cousin who owns a Bobcat, but it has trax not wheels 🛞.
I suggest that you put a camera on the roof of the house and record a timelapse would make this really cool to watc😢h 😎🦺
