    Not only was Carrie running around in that Champion performance, she was also pregnant. Couldn’t tell from the outfit, but she was with her second baby. She won the “hero” award at that show.

    The thing that makes this so great is that Brad and Carrie are beyond best friends, they are like brother and sister, so they can come together on a duet like this and there's no wierd sexual tension, it's just nothing but AWESOME!! And yes Carrie can flip notes all over the place as smooth as silk. And brad's guitar playing is a beautiful thing all in it's own. I could listen to him play all day!!!! (Brad generally does not use studio guitarists in his music) He and Keith Urban have a thing about that, its not so much ego, it's a desire for the music to be a quality that they think it needs to be.

    If you want great guitar, you need Roy Clark!!! He's the absolute best country Guitarist, banjo and plays violin. Sadly he died 3 years ago. I grew up with my parents playing his music. I went from loving his guitar work to metal. There's a video called Roy Clark can play any Genre! It's from the tv show The Odd Couple. He plays so fast his hand is a Blur! It showcases him playing different insteuments.He was entertainer of the at the CMAs year in 1976. And Musician of the year in 77', 78.and 80! And the accolades go on and on. 💕🙏🇺🇸

      Actually the guitar in this video was his 63 Fender that Bill Crook refinished and relic’d for him
      Actually from what I’ve always known every guitar whether it was a bill crook custom or not was inspired by one single guitar his Ol Pink an original 68 pink paisley with lindy fralin blues special pickups
      Everything including the first guitar bill crook paisley’d “Blue Sparkle Paisley” for I’m gonna miss her was all because of one Single Old Fender…

    His guitars are based on the Telecaster but they are made by Crook Custom Guitars. You can have one made for yourself. Prices I’ve seen are around $3500. From what I’ve read and seen on vids, Brad’s typically have a bender in them. Usually a B-bender. He has thrown in a G-bender occasionally. What that does is bends, for lack of a better way of saying it, the string up a half step when you push the guitar away from you as it is attached to the strap button. Makes the 6-string guitar sound like a steel guitar is the purpose. Hopefully that makes sense.

    • @oceanwolfestudio142

    Great comments! Totally agree that this is a home run for both Brad and Carrie. Not only does Brad do all his own playing, he uses his touring band on all his recordings which is very unusual. A lot of rock guitarists may be great players, but they don't necessarily have the skill to play a piece the same way 26 times. The top country players do. They tend to be much better technical players. Some of them (Keith Urban and Vince Gill, for example) started out as top session players. Keith actually plays most of the guitar/banjo/mandolin/etc. as overdubs on his songs.

    • @BourbonCountryReacts
      @BourbonCountryReacts  Před 2 lety

      While I can name plenty of rock guitarists that are unbelievably skilled technical players, and can play any genre if they wish, it's becoming clear to me that there are plenty of good country guitarists out there. It's mostly because I would say that these doing the disagreeing the hardest has seen Carrie in concert. Or is just flat out super fans. One thing about us country music fans is we will go to bat over our favorite artists. But it's mostly (from 90%) is where just so passionate about them and our heritage. The rest probably just want to be assholes because just saying they are everywhere. And I'm not saying if I don't think something is off with y'all I won't call you out i have but then I go on about my day...usually. lol

    A couple other good ones (understatement much?!!) are "Jesus, Take the Wheel" - an early Carrie - and a duet with Miranda Lambert called "Something Bad"; for Brad, something I haven't seen reacted to at all is his song about cancer. It's really good. You guys are fun to watch react to music (and bourbon).
