As a Momma to my own miracle boy, this song holds a special place in my heart. Martina doesn’t give you a choice but to go on the emotional journey she wants to take you on.
I don't think you'll ever find a "miss" with Martina. I have a son who had severe medical issues from birth, was never supposed to live to his first birthday and has literally died 3 times by his 11th birthday. He's now a strapping 31 year old Firefighter/EMT, Army Reservist after his Active Duty. This was an awesome song from Martina, and as usual keeping in with her core career goal of bringing important issues to the forefront. And the issues she sang about gave you no choice but to have feelings, because she knew how to deliver from the start. Martina stopped performing when her kids got older to just stay home be a mom and raise her kids...pretty noble role for someone who could've just kept going with that voice forever.
She's still going. Just sent the wimminz to a live performance a couple of weeks ago. They were about 10 inches from the stage. They reported it was incredible. - Keith
@@BourbonCountryReacts Yes, she does now do some performances but she doesn't put out much new music and doesn't Tour regularly, 2 of her 3 girls are 23 & 27, but the youngest is only 16. The hope is she'll start putting out Music again. **fingers & toes crossed** Faith did the same thing with her 3 girls and now that they're grown and in College or out in the world working she started singing and acting again. Its' always the hope that these women who have these God given super talented voices will come back to the stage at some point. Not that I don't love Carrie Underwood and the new class of women in Country....but Martina, Faith and Trisha Yearwood were the women who kind of paved the way for all the newbies.
Oh my words this hits me in my feelings. My best friend and cousin had Muscular Dystrophy. He was so special Everytime I hear this song I crying with my happy memories of him and me spending summers together. I remember the day I got the call he was gone. He was in his 20s when he passed away. Thank you for reacting to this.
"God's Will" was written by Barry Dean and Tom Douglas and they deserve acknowledgment for their mastery as well. Especially for working God's Will into having double meaning within the song. Of course Martina takes us on an emotional and beautiful journey.
Martina has been my favorite country artist for many years, in my opinion anything she sings is golden. "Wild Angels" is a great one, "How Far", "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" be ware the last one can trigger dust pockets.
Martina truly is amazing. If you want Fun Martina, “When God-Fearin’ Women Get The Blues” is the way to go. For her most incredible vocals, absolutely check out “Where Would You Be”! The official music video is a live video, which is exactly the best way to experience that song 😎
She's a goddess. Her voice is beyond amazing. I really respect that fact that she uses her music to covey not only such emotions, she touches on some serious topics, topics other artist would avoid.
Great song, you can't go wrong with Martina. She is incredible, I've seen her in concert several times. She really does make you get into your feelings. 🎶🎵❤️
Hee Haw!!! ( 2nd comment, but right up Keith's alley... he will love it!!!) *Look up Dueling Banjos performed by Buck Owens and Roy Clark on Hee Haw *Also Jerry Reed, Buck Owens and Roy Clark doing Picking and Grinning... It's some amazing playing... while Hee Haw was on the air they hosted some of the greatest performers in those years!!! They are little skits, but anyone who listened to the original Country, the oldies as it were I can tell you watched that show and listened to those performers!!!
@@misty1107 I loved Hee Haw growing up!!! I always tell people Dolly Parton made me one of the most serenaded Women in the world!!! LOL!!! She released her song in Oct of 73, I was born in Jan of 74... I think every person I have ever met has sung that song to me...

Martina has always said that the goal of music is to empower women. That's the main theme behind all her songs. Reba's main theme if you listen to the lyrics of most of her hit songs they are heart wrenching songs.
Uggg such a great song such a great message such a great reaction I wanna try this bourbon that's not bourbon but on the same highway 😀 I really enjoy you guys 😀 fun stuff im above ground and thankful 😀
Your right Martina brings perspective to most of her vocals and videos. Having worked with adult with disabilities for 30 years, best job ever never regretted going to work which a lot of people can’t say. Love that she has a fun side also but will always be known for her feels music.
*She thinks his name was John by: Reba *Vice and Tin Man by: Miranda Lambert *As for Matina she goes beyond being "just" a musician, she's a true Artist, a Storyteller as Dolly Parton describes herself... I love these artists the most because they truly don't see how amazing they really are and how they touch a person's life!!!

Absolutely love this reaction, yall's thought on perspective are great. When I start to feel whiny, I remind myself that I have heat, air, clean water and internet access, many around the world don't have all of these things, that pulls me right out of it.
I love this song. Thanks for playing it. I would send you a bottle of Bourbon but I don't drink achololic beverages. I like to watch you guys because you actually listen to the music.
We try. It's actually harder than it looks to hear a song for the first time ever, and try and pick up on all the things fans hear, who have heard the song a hundred times. We get yelled at a lot for missing little stuff here or there. Experience has taught me that you'll never catch everything in a song on the first listen. - Keith
It's amazing how the people in our lives that carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, make it look effortless. I lost my youngest cousin 5 years ago of cystic fibrosis, she wasn't supposed to make it to her 1st birthday... and she was 23 when she passed. But every day her goal was to not be defined by CF... Never a victim, forever a fighter. We almost lost her over a dozen times, and she was just about 10 days away from her 2nd anniversary of her double lung transplant. But I just am in aw of it all. Because I can be cursing in traffic, or bitching TO my dog about everything. While I deal with my own mental health. But I 100% agree, I'm on this side of the ground so somethings going right.
