Our 2000 7 passenger Mercedes e320 wagon, feel the same way. Its classy, solid & rattle free at 205,000 !
Its unique, I see very few. I can't stand all these cookie cutter Yukons and endless crossovers.
If our MB wagon had issues, I would take a long look at this Germany made (Opel) Buick Tourx wagon.
We saw our first one on the road last week & I've now read quite a bit.
Now Buick needs to ramp up production a lot !
Not only did our local Buick NOT have a TourX in stock, the salesman hadn't seen one.
We did examine the "sedan" version the Regal Sportback, also made by Opel Germany. I was impressed by the design, fit & finish.

2002 Saab 9-5 wagon is old and tired. But GM sold this line and the TourX will be no more in 2021, they are already hard to find. So I'll have the same issue with replacement parts I have on the 9-5 wagon. I compared my Saab to the Buick and also the Acura TSX. The Buick is comparable with flat floor, but slightly higher load height. The Acura is MUCH smaller

My first car was a late 90s Ford Taurus Wagon. I like the looks and convenience of a wagon, but where I live and the outdoor lifestyle I want to have my next vehicle I am hoping to get a mid size truck or CUV or maybe a Subaru Outback, even though I don't like the sound of a CVT, I like the 8.7 inches of ground clearance. The Tour X probably has 4.5-5 inches of clearance, which sadly won't get me where I want to go as easily and doesn't solve my issue since I already have a car. If I had a truck already and wanted a new daily I could roll with this BadA$$ Buick even with all that armor cladding. :) Great review as always.

Nice job Roman. Very nice Car Buick! Station wagons have always ruled for me! The first car I drove was the family w Beach wagon, a 1968 Chrysler New Yorker Town &Country. My dad ordered with power everything, a stomping 440 Commando 4 brl dual exhaust engine with factory tow package that came with 3:55 posi and front disk brakes. Brand new I remember the sticker said $5,980! But he traded his beloved 1964 Imperial LaBaron Crown Coup he also bought new. But the family was growing and a two door, even as big as that was just not going to cut it with four brats. That Beach wagon was as great a car as I’ve ever driven in the pre emissions age. It got 8-15 mpg, but gas was around $.30-40/cents gal! That Car was surprisingly fast! It could light up both tires and more that bury the speedo. What I mean by that it the speedo was across from left to right in a straight line, with a small space between it and then a clock, my buddy and I more than once had the speedo needle all the way PASSED the speedo to 3oclock!!! While the engine was screaming!! My dad could not figure out why the mufflers kept blowing out!

Would have been more badass if your tester had the panoramic roof. And even more badass if Buick would make the wagon have the upper GS trim and engine.
And yes, everyone knows this is an Opel Insignia(as you mentioned several times in the video, and multiple people saying so in the comnents here). It's been that way for the Regal for a while now (since Saturn died out because some Saturns were Opels too). And the Encore is an Opel Mokka and the Cascada is well a Cascada (didn't even bother to change the name on that one). BFD people! Why is this always a matter of discussion and a point everyone feels compelled to make? Everyone points this out as if it's a horrible thing. Again, it's been this way for a while. GM owned Opel so they codesigned vehicles for use across multiple brands to be sold in multiple markets. Several car manufacturers do this, and it keeps prices down, so bonus for us the consumer. The auto industry is completely global now people.

My car has all the accessible power I need to spare, and handles pretty well even with suspension that wouldn't hurt to be replaced. I can easily fit people, car seats, strollers, groceries, luggage for 4 and bicycles in the car. And my highway mileage is superior to most suvs and x-overs, not because of my engine, but because of better aero dynamics. Im happy more companies are bringing wagons state side again.
