- We’re Film Makers, we’re Photographers, we have a lot of … stuff. So in January 2022 it was time to tackle our tiny dark gear room and turn our studio basement into something epic - our ultimate photo video gear room. In this video we take you through constructing your own gear cage that makes staying organized, charged and clean that little bit easier. We’ll tackle tripod storage, battery management and charging, drawer dividers and all the other lil touches that make our gear room an absolute dream. Ready to get ya hands dirty? Lets go!

I have a bunch of Lundia type shelves. They look good and are easy to move and re-assemble. I like your idea with the wine-rack storage for tripods.

Thanks Antonis! It's pretty generic - we just got it from an Australian/NZ hardware store called Bunnings. I'm not familiar with Greek Hardware stores sorry but here's something that looks similar at Ikea

You... you might just be right on that one! Thankfully we have enough spare leads so they don't need to come off when we go on shoots
Just a quick question regarding the camera and lenses drawers, how do you guys make it so the moisture don't ruin equipment I.E fungus?
Heyo! We don't seem to have a big problem with this where we're located as our basement is pretty moisture and temperature stable. In a higher humidity climate though, a good AC unit or humidity controlled cabinet might be essential.

Great looking great room for a lab. What type of lighting did you install in your room?? Your lab needs none more led lights... Alexa make all lights forest green..... ok.
Some RGB LEDs would be killer! We have LED industrial lights on the ceiling, some Quasars on the wall and usually light the space with LitePanels Gemini 1x1s when shooting. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey Rog! We don't currently do Blender or 3D tutorials but if you have a specific question, our animator could help :) otherwise there are some other great channels that teach the full workflow
