I once lived at a location where police frequently radar enforced an exceedingly low speed limit. When I noticed them I would place :"Speed trap ahead" signs long side the road to warn drivers. A few times I was threatened with arrest for "obstructing. I would point out that by placing those signs I was increasing public safety because all those who were speeding slowed down when they saw the signs.. Te only thing I was obstructing was the revenue generated from tickets issued.

Whether it was speeding, parking tickets or tinted window tickets, money goes into the general fund so the politicians wont run out. One my favorite suggestions regarding speed traps ever: pass a law that requires the entire cost of the ticket / "court-fees" to go to a charity of your choice (not the state's). If it truly is all about keeping people safe, then they can give the same number of tickets as before all day long; if it's about revenue, it'll go away very quickly.

There were multiple HUMONGOUS 25 mph signs and the one city cop I saw was rolling through town at said 25 mph. I engaged my cruise control and stayed the same distance behind him all through the town. They didn't want to take your money, they wanted you to drive at 25 mph. That kind of speed enforcement, I respect.

What pisses me off with other motorists AND cops, is speeding in a school zone.
      Regular speed limit 30 mph
School Zone speed limit 15 mph
Cops and other drivers 35+ mph right through the school zone.
I make sure I am at 14 mph or lower so there is no way in hell I will get a ticket, they cost a fortune here....
Cops get to break the law on and off duty and get away with it.

Window tint darker than the law allows for ANY vehicle, AND now they are allowed to have dark tint on the windshield so you cannot see the cop, or if a cop is actually in the car. After I got my food and pulled out the cop pulled me over. I still had my phone filming and was holding it up when he walked up to me and saw my phone. He said "do you know why I pulled you over?" I said yes. Do you know why I was speeding because I have it all recorded on my phone if you want to see me having to speed to keep up with you and you only speeding to go to a fast food joint. Then I asked him if I was free to go and he said yes sir. I sent footage to the police dept. but they did nothing. I film then when they do that shit and keep footage.
