Tough game this week. Last season was an epic but Bournemouth much better now. Not to be overlooked.
We are much better too.
Romero's pressure in our third caused a glitch in the matrix.......
He was their best player by a mile
New contract for Arteta regardless how the season pans out. How short sighted and slow in the head do you need to be to think we need a new manager?
London is Red. It'd be peak Spurs to beat City and give us a proper chance at winning the league.
Enjoy winding the boss up today TC
Watching from Australia, was up nice morning 🤣 COYG
IF we win this thing, Jover deserves a medal 100%
Fantastic result, and fair play to Arsenal for making the game a little more entertaining for the neutral, how thoughtful!
On City's relentlessness: as crazy as this sounds, this is why I wanted Liverpool to still be in the title race right up until the last day. If City win the title this year it means nothing, it changes nothing in football really. It just leaves us all with an empty feeling again. Where as if we didn't win and Liverpool won then at least id feel some happiness that Klopp ended his reign with a title. I have a lot more admiration for how Liverpool have built a team and the exciting football they play.
City compared to Arsenal feels very much like watching the G.I Joe cartoon when I was a kid, Arsenal are G.I Joe and City are Cobra, but unlike the cartoon Cobra always win 😥
I slept in and cause I was feeling sick and as soon as I turned on the match Romero scored 😂 those last 15 minutes were not very fun. So relieved to have won COYG!!
Totally agree to collect the amount of points like that and not win is hard to see us not in a better position but we are still there and I truly believe it will happen
raya realised the london derby was getting boring and gave them a goal or two 😂
😅😅😅
Hey Tom, I see that the Spuds' ground - the 'Tottenham Hotspur Stadium' - still has no sponsorship. Maybe they should try to persuade Hollywood to get involved... the TEMPLE OF DOOM would be a perfect name!
The Abyss stadium. Their points keep disappearing
I totally agree @Tom, I don't think striker is a priority. At the top of the list should be a wide player to cover Saka, and then a solid backup for Saliba, and then a midfielder if either Parte or Jorginho leaves.
We got some awfully nice calls from the ref yesterday, for a change.
Aston Villa are a big six team these days Tom
Said the same about Newcastle and Brighton. They've fallen away. "Big Six" comes with establishment.
Great podcast 👏 as always Tom!
It's always good 👍 beating 👌 North of East London middlesex hotspurs!!!😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😅😅😅❤😂❤
Absolutely fucking glorious
Raya gave me a bout of migraine yesterday. Overall he did very well though
Declan only had eyes for the ball..it wasn't his mistake that spurs player jumped in to be kicked in the nuts
Yup, can’t help but look at the results and say that we’ve done it to ourselves. Even had to go on a run that many didn’t expect (imo) to put ourselves in this position. Regardless, I agree. Really want to go into the Everton game with a real chance to win the league (ie, a win means a title).
Raya was in two minds tried to pass it to partey but he stopped mid way where he should have just booted it straight up the field but he was fine. After that we sat back too deep in the end but that's us tired their freshness was obvious in second part of the second half
So annoying that we will likely have to rely on Spuds to beat City and win us the league!! 🤬🤬
It's disappointing if we end up trophyless this year .but the progress in this team in Artetas era for me has earned him another 2 years .but need a trophy in this time...stricker wise sell Eddie. Rhys and Jesus .use the money for Issac
Kula was diving all day
Good morning all,Yes we need a striker, midfielder, winger, defender and goal keeper if Ramsdale goes.Enjoy your day all.
Be honest it wasn’t easy, I had a panic attack!!!!
The league is on say a prayer 🤲 we get this in the bag.
Oh by the way for the hayters on Kai
Havertz he is now the 11th ranked player for goals this Sean only 4 behind moresalah who is 6th, 6 assists 3 behind Alvarez man c sitting in 4th with 8 players.
Tom you know from reading the comments I have backed him all the way.
Egg in the face of the hayters in his first season aged 24 hahaha 😝
Bank job 🎉
Happy st totteringham day everyone🎉🎉
YESSSS YESSSSS WE WON
Remember how some people were losing it after Arteta said last years goal tally was a one off.
A belated Saint Totteringham’s Day Tom!!!
I am happy we broke the red lighting bolt sock curse...
Didn’t even know it was a thing
@@TheGoonerTalkTV oh my gosh yes..... look at away record wearing red, when we have to wear red lightning bolts socks (we wear white socks usually this year) I think we were 0-4, Started at Newcastle, Porto away, Bayern Away....and i think there was one more... yikes. Glad to see them go! So when you talk kits we need to look at socks too!
91 was our least goals conceded 18 in 46 games
George Graham defence
if i remember correctly the 91/92 wasnt it, when David Seaman kept 23 clean sheets - ridiculous!
Hey Tom you look very much like the snooker star Kieran Wilson
Heard it all before aha
I think it’s a good argument that City now have the harder remaining games. Hopefully Wolves have players back from injury and Fulham away are no joke, as we know.
Unfortunately those teams have nothing to play for
@@adamtwl possibly but each position in the table earns the club more. It only takes a draw and City look tired. Maybe I’ve taken too much hopium 🤣
20 years ago we won the league there
20 years later they could help us win the league how ironic ..
We will be champions I have said this and I’m sure some of you have held the same view as me ..
All I can do is hope. I thought Forest could have got something out of City
Let's hope Spurs can bring their A game and beat City, if not, hold them to a draw, and we win our last 3 games!
Our fanbase is so powerful a lot of rivals prefer City

Striker is the missing part of the puzzle 🧩
Is it? Not sure it is
@@TheGoonerTalkTV midfielders aren’t always going to be the prolific, if we added a top striker we would win games we normally draw.
Ask yourself if you could get just say Erling Haaland and put him in the team tomorrow would you with all that talent behind him
We might break our record for the most goals ever in the premier league this season
The Haaland example don’t work. There’s not an equivalent on the market.
@@TheGoonerTalkTV Good morning Tom I totally understand we are top of the pops this season with goals, long may it last they’re doing brilliant!
Look at the fabulous players in midfield we had in the past and the strikers we had to compliment them.
Pires, Freddy, in one team and many more examples.
I feel the next stage in the evolution in this team is to add an elite striker.
Imagine someone arhat can smash a goal from outside box inside someone that makes defence focus on them and saka and martinelli get freed up.
Actually I’d turn martinelli into a striker if I couldn’t get a striker his pace his determination, and buy a world class winger if no strike can be got
@@JJDEire Who is the elite striker we can sign?
Top of the morning, brother. I don't rate Raya and haven't since he's come to Arsenal. Yes, he's shown glimpses of why Arteta likes him. i feel he's made no difference, then ramsdale would have if given the chance Ramsdale will only get better. He's made so many mistakes since coming to Arsenal
Golden glove
He is better than Ramsdale…end of story…you can write your epistle but that fact 😂…Ramadale getting better after how many seasons…isn’t it funny you are okay to give Ramsdale room to get better, but not Raya…you biased is so obvious,it’s nauseating
@@amakaokoye7289ramsdale is 25 years old and Raya is 28. Raya is currently a slightly better keeper, no doubt about that, but Ramsdale could have been at Raya’s current level in a year or two.
What I wish we had done was find a way to manage the keeper situation better. Playing Ramsdale for cup competitions and perhaps finding a suitable loan situation for him. Keeping him under contract and perhaps replacing Raya in a few years.
I know keepers can last, but having a strong backup option is smart.
I really like arteta, but this man management is poor in my eyes. We will let Ramsdale go for probably less than we could have sold him for and then we will hope to sign a backup keeper. Hopefully it’s someone with experience 30+ and we also sign a talent that we can loan out and reap the rewards. Maybe someone around 24-25 years old…
Feels like letting Ramsdale go is wasting potential talent we could use in 2 years.
@@amakaokoye7289 Granted, Raya is ~3 years older than Ramsdale. BUT, it’s a fair point that some Raya critics don’t see any room for him to grow. While they see tonnes of room for Ramsdale to grow. Interesting point.
Raya is a better goalkeeper for the systems that Mikel and co want to play with. If they thought they needed a more ‘traditional’ (maybe even the wrong word, now) goalkeeper, I think that they would get one. Ramsdale is simply not rated to deal with the type of pressing pressure + distribution scenarios that the team invite and manufacture.
Kulasvski and Maddison were diving all over the pitch. Embarrassed themselves. Weak
coyg
Spurs will not turn up against City. They are that petty.
Chris Wood yesterday was beyond ridiculous. His performance fell far below the level of a so called professional player. SMDH.
London is white with a bit of black - we didn’t beat Fulham
Can't be. Who have beaten more London teams this season?
Arsenal or Fulham?
What a fantastic weekend..and great start to the working week..coyg ❤️🤍❤️
