The issues you are experiencing are totality unacceptable. Considering the cost of that truck, and how new it is, you should not be having any issues whatsoever. It’s really sad but now it seems like buying a new vehicle is just about picking what piece of junk you want to deal with. Thanks for the video, you saved me a lot of money.

I love when you take a 2024 truck to the Dealership with a oil leak and they say oh that’s a common problem!!! It’s a 2024!!! My 2021 Trail Boss 5.3 blew up with 9k miles and that’s what they said to me!!! And these people are on strike wanting more money!! Lol

It’s the design of the engines that get this lifter Taps and now rod knocks,it’s issues they won’t fix because it makes them money, especially when people don’t get warranty or extended warranty which is just a must on these new vehicles sadly, but the idea of these company’s buildings reliable truck or cars is 90 percent gone, you might get lucky 2 outa 10 times depending on what company and who builds it,but other than that it’s not the 80s-90s anymore

I purchased a new 2024 GMC Sierra with the 3.0 LZ0 Duramax based much on the reviews I found on the engine. The problem is my engine failed after 1,000 miles and is in the process of having a new engine installed. I have had my new truck in my possession for less days than it has been at the dealer having a new engine installed. So a brand new truck has to be torn completely apart, cab removed, to replace the engine. I asked GMC to replace the entire truck considering it was a new truck, a few weeks old to me, 1,000 miles and they tell me too bad, sorry, we will fix it. I am not pleased to own a new truck that has been torn apart.

Mine had a leak at the front of transmission. 5000 miles. Took to dealer they ran a cycle for 4 hours after adding a die to fluid. They said they wiped off the fluid and asked me to bring back if i see another leak. I have not seen anymore in last 500 miles. I hope it was just assembly lube. Note that u unerstood the engine had big changes from last year. I was counting on improvement. If yiu dont know - they changed injectors and pump to denso now. I consider that tk be a good thing over Bosch

I’m a Toyota Tundra guy, but if GMC can get all the “bugs” worked out, GMC has the best looking rigs out there. Just my opinion of course.

Well you need a part 3 I have a 2024 AT4 also look just like yours. Its been leaking oil from day one. I took it back and they told me it was the filter so they changed it and it still was leaking so I changed it and drove it 200 miles and I stopped and looked under and it was still leaking so I got out the old black box and typed in leak on new 2024 Duramax and found that I wasn't
t the only one with this problem. people said it was the oil cooler and I took it in again and they changed to cooling lines so I picked it up again and drove it for the weekend and guess what still leaking now I just dropped it back off today and I think there going to change the cooler. WTF

I'm not so sure thats motor oil. Just changed mine at 5000 miles & oil was black which is typical diesel oil. No issues with my 2023. Love it so far & I put Amsoil hoping for better mpg. AVG 26 & 30 HWY.

Well misery loves company, my 2024 1500 AT4x diesel with less than 500mi has already been at dealer for no radio sound and emissions limp mode issue. I came from a ridgeline which (checks notes) had zero issues in 4 years of ownership, lame vehicle tho. I regret buying my GMC, never again…
