I see you John
Himmy John
coach is so proud rn lol
Now, that’s motivation and dedication. You went from a 24” to a 50.5” vertical. You are jumping more than double your vertical when you started. You taught me something.
Wtfff, he must have some great genetics for reacting to training. Plus he must have trained smart and hard
@@crabb9966 Nope just knowledge of proper training, I went from 17 inch vertical to 38 inch vertical in less than 3 months following all the best resources I can find
@@josephbenuzzi159 can u tell me what routine do you do
@@josephbenuzzi159 ye can you tell what we’re like your main workouts you did
@@josephbenuzzi159 bro u trynna send me your routine
I'd love to see Isaiah Rivera go and contact Guinness records and go and officially get the record.
He talked with Chris Spell and he basically said that Guinness is only “official” because Guinness self proclaimed themselves as such, so we really could create a better standard for it. Hopefully if dunking gets in the Olympics we can maybe test guys at the games.
Guinnes is old bews man
Did you know you have to pay them to get a record on your name?
Like a little less then a thousand bucks
@@witmilk6527 That sucks lol
@@JohnEvans Hey if synchronized swimming and skateboarding can make it, dunking is on it's way
Yeshua Hamashiach is God in the flesh, the Son of God, the Word of God, and he died so that you may be presented blameless in the sight of the Father. And so you may inherit his kingdom. The LORD Yeshua Hamashiach is the only way to the Father and his kingdom. Repent of your sins accept him into your life as your LORD and Savior before it's too late, every day is not guaranteed.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.
May God bless you all.
The progress is crazy!!
I still remember ur 24-36 vert video, u've came a long way, it's almost as if I'm watching a movie of ur journey
Finally the how i went from a 45 to 50 inch vert i was waiting nice grind bro.
Super proud of you bro been watching and supporting for years your discipline is insane and noticed
Very inspiring. Struggle is 100% real brother but ultimately it's how you overcame them. Thanks for sharing.
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. You posted that quote and it stuck with me. You know like I know injuries aren’t a stopping point but a learning point. Good job on pushing thru and keep grinding
I think i follow you since 2019 and to see all this training video and dunk session again makes me nostalgic
You can be proud of yourself you are amaizing
Hi Isaiah,
Thx for the amazing video. I am really thankful for sharing everything so openly with us! It is very helpful for all the people out here to understand, that injuries are part of the road and there is always a way to overcome them.
Thx again!
“What you practice, grows stronger.” Mindfulness, pathos, and work ethic beats talent anytime! Congrats!!! 👏👏👏
Yes.
Mindfulness, work ethics and potathos.
Unless the guy works just as hard
seeing the progress played out like this is awesome! I'd be interested in a 0-50" video where you go over you early sports and do a whole break down!!!
he's done videos like that before, he had a video of how he got to a 36 inch vertical, then one for 36 to 45, and this one is his 45 to 50
That Whistle Sport sessions murdered me also lol
100% agreed, I never had major injuries during my teens and twenties, I was really athletic but didn't have any improvements until I sprained both my ankles in three years. Then I started to study on my body and advanced exercises. Now I'm turning 34 before December, I'm much stronger than before and hopefully when my ankle fully recovered, I can still enjoy dunking
so insane to finally see this happen! been waiting YEARS for this. Gonna turn 18 soon, will be time to start my THP journey💪
So happy to see your journey man, I’ve been following along for a long time now, keep it up your journey is super inspiring!
You a beast ! Mamba mentality I love it !
Thank you for this video this is very inspirational 🔥🔥
so happy for you my man! this really shows people how hard you have to work to achieve a huge goal.
Was waiting for this 😍😍
bro this is so inspirational man hopefully I can do the same one day.
I also really appreciate the books you recommend I read them and they have helped me in other areas of life you're very inspirational thank you
Awesome journey bro. Thanks for going through it all.
Thank you for all the content and your workout videos I was finally able to get a dunk on 10ft off a lob after starting on dunking on only 8ft
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for this video. Great job!
thank you for these videos, i’m 5’ 6” and can touch backboard, and with this training i think i can do it!
also throughout the course of me watching your jumping, your mechanics have improved greatly
i have been doing all sorts of vert training i have seen online going to the weight room doing plyos and i went from a 21 inch vert to a 34 ich. i loved ur advice and fo ru people this stuff really works
Waiting for this🔥🔥
Look at Isaiah man, so inspirational!
This motivates me so much!
Absolutely crazy video super inspiring
Insane progress!!!!🤯
Great story, very inspiring!
Great job, I believe in you, you can go higher
Wow! Isaiah I saw your videos when I was a teen I find It's very impressive you are still working in your jump haha.
I thought you was training for being a NBA player or something like that when i saw your videos I didn't undertood English so much.
I'm very glad you are improving.
John sounds like an amazing coach
Love your story bro!
Brooo🤯 the dedication is insane!! I need some THP in my life!

Great story man!
Amazing stuff
This is a great video that captures the inevitable injuries of training for peak performance and being human - all while learning your body.
I have always noticed you may be over arching your lower back in the squat, especially at the bottom. That may be related to the back injury. Perhaps experiment more with finding a more neutral spine for load bearing?
That arch in the low back puts the hips in a certain position (tilt) and stretches the hams more.
Just a thought. Wishing you the best.
Crazy hard work
You are just amazing Bravo from France
Imma get like you one day 🙏
I really respect his effort and geeat result
Inspiring 💯
Hey man, been following you for a few years, this is awesome!
Since you were doing so much strength training, I'm wondering what you were doing nutrition wise?
What a journey 💯
So inspirational 😥
My god I used to be able to dunk then I stopped for 2 months because of religous stuff and eid and yesterday I went to the court and I got rim blocked like 10 straight times glad I saw this to help me get motivated again.
Good job! Would be great to hear a little bit more how you got rid of your knee pain. Iam dealing with tendonitis for more than 6 months and slow strength does not really help a lot.
The day we’ve all been waiting for
inspirational
Great story brother
Crazy journey
10:49 "Dunk or death". Damn that's a cool tattoo
I've been following you since I came across your vid of the "360 BTB and BTL" in a dunk compilation. I had to know who that was! Haha! Congrats on the progress, hard work, growth and achievement👍
You know that he can't do that on 10ft, right? :(
@@timursezer3787 yeah so I've heard the 24 hour fitness rings are a bit lower...but it was still impressive and it was what got my attention to look Isaiah up and follow him 👍
Big W
i bought your coaching one day i’ll jump like you
Great journey!! And a great last name you have. 😁😁
This man is the goku of jumping, somehow he keeps getting better
luv u
History in the making
Isaiah is gonna have a 50-55 inch vertical soon
Bro, y yo que solo pido llegar al aro🥺... Un completo crack!!!
Fucking insane! I feel like that’s so complex and hard to find the best training method. Did you had plyo days during the strength/power cycle? Keep up the work
🔥🔥🔥🔥
bro I wanna see some NBA players react to u
There is footage of NBA players reacting to kilgannon if I'm not mistaken. They all had salty looking faces. The salt wasn't from the sweat either.
Sounds like the Kneesovertoes stuff could've helped, really impressive compound lifts but there are more tools in rehab than load management
When you were jumping lower on the ATG training, did you change any other aspect of your training? Like were you still jumping, dunking, playing b-ball at the same intensity/frequency?
The only reason ATG probably didn’t make immediately jump higher, is because two foot jumping relies a lot more on raw strength like full squat, and the start of ATG is all lighter and unilateral. The absolute strength of your body was the limiting factor of your jumping height at that time, and you started to lose some of that absolute strength when you started ATG intro lifting.
Isaiah you should add your height on channel description 👍👍
Let’s goooo🔥🔥
This really makes me thinking about singing in
Needed to see this cause my shoulder been injured for over a year left ankle since February, back juss got injured too prolly had bout 5 6 injuries within the last year
hey bro just wanted to ask that for your strength training did you just do exercises that were mainly targeted for legs/hips or did you train upper body too, like arms and chest?
Ur inspirational for me
Your float time is insane.
I live in the Clearwater area and I would definitely like for you guys to work with my son
You are a fucking beast
Hey zay are you going to try to test for a 52 inch vertical?
He made the video!!
bro the only thing i can increase this consistently is my weed resistence LMAO
Yessir!!
Do you want to add muscle in a surplus or will that slow you down less force production?
How much plyometrics do you do compared to lifting? Love your vids but theyre mainly about lifting and little plyos
What do you think of ISOKINETIC AND SYMMETRY THAT SUPPORT PRIMER MOVER MUSCLES? GOOD WORK , EVER THOUGHT OF WRITTING A BOOK.
🔥🔥🔥
Hey Isiah I just started THP but then went to the hospital due to my chest and they don’t want me to lift until I’m cleared. I was wondering if u could postpone my workouts and take my workouts away until I’m cleared?
Bro can you do eating in a day? Thank you bro!!
No limits
What were the 3 most important plyo exercises you did?
💯💯💯💯
You just tipped the iceberg.
You know what would be dope if you strapped a helmet cam on and did the "Look in the rim dunk" Isaiah
Here is what I learned from this video: "No matter what life threw at me - the hardship, the adversity, the challenges, the downfalls - I found opportunities, ways and a plan around it. I never gave up."
Great work Isaiah! You are an inspiration to many people! I am 35 years old and I am at it for 15 months now. I am beyond the rim now, and when I started I couldn't
touch the board (overweight back injury, etc)! Nowhere as close as you, but hopefully I will dunk one day. Thanks for sharing your journey with us! Chase the 52' inch next!
