Johns point on the loading was well explained, basically having 2 graphs that are inversely as load decreases the mechanics of jumping with a trap bar would open up the increase in the rate of force development and by gradually ramping the speed of these movements allows for monitoring the load the tendons are experienced becomes easier.
Also 185 would probably be a lot to Isaiah back in the day but since his strength to weight ratio along with having a vert in the high 40s, what was once working weight for deadlifts has become him being able to spring up with a pair of 90lbs dumbbells in each hand.
The tendons may actually still increase more loading. It's hard to say. The higher the RFD and power/SSC, the more loading they'd experience. But everything else you said v true.

I donât think so, the human body needs rest. For me the best stuff that you can do for jumps higher are:
1- Sleep 8-10 hrs
2- eat healthy day of training (carbohydrates)
3- training 2-3 time a week (heavy weights and plyometrics exercises

And I understanded it on like 3rd or 4th time listeningđđ
In his opinion, we must train jumping as much as possible. From my point of view, I looked a the thumbnail and realized that calf muscles play crucial role for jumping higher. Not only hamstrings and quads but also calves. When you do jumping, you should jump with the top part of your feet; it seems like you walk on tiptoe.

Is jumping a lot for improvement more so for beginners? Because I'm doing THP and you only have me jumping once a week?
If you can jump more, do it. The reality is that most people can't handle high volumes of jumping without getting hurt. Twice a week tends to be the limit.
