- Hi All,
This 1 hours video depicts exactly what I have been going through living in a unit with very bad insulated wall, except the piano and pingpong playing.
My neighbour is a noise maker family of 3, constantly playing piano (yes constant piano), pingpong, water hissing, running up and down stairs, stomping on stairs, slamming doors and car doors.
I guess being a tenant, if complaining to property manager and STRATA didn't work, I'll let them understand it themselves.

I wake up at 1-2 am almost every night to the sounds of explosions, gun fires, giggles, music and insanely loud talking. My neighbor is almost 40 and is stuck in his teens playing video games loudly all night and throwing small parties regularly. He holds all these events in his bedroom which shares a wall with my bedroom. Either he's stupid or inconsiderate. Either way, I hate him and thank you for this video
Same got a neighbor in his 50's living with his mom always trying get revenge against someone half his age he been harassing me since I was 17
It is absolutely miserable. I have to function on two or three hours of broken sleep while he sleeps on his fat ass all day and keep me up all night

My housemate in care plays TV and radio very loudly at 4am refuses to use headphone im told to turn off my treadmill at 8 pm im 34kg lost 6 pounds from sleep deprivation given out to for going across to bed as balance is very poor. Told to stop walking after eleven so im just going to sleep on the floor now and not to use toilet. Also given time limits on eating. Im cutting fluids so i dont need toilet at night. Currently eating 400 cals need to get counsellwr for the eating disorder and bring back up food gradually so i can survive and suffer very bad nerves so very underweight. Ran on the treadmill at 6 am and dropped my weights on floor 10 times. I tried to reason with the lady but no evil cxnt
Pro tip:
Instal a box with a powerfull speaker with an mp3 player inside on the ceiling pointing upwards. This need to be on a corner so is more difficult for them to identify the location of the noise, than you can put foam on the outside of the box.
If you are so inclined (and i strongly advice so) you can put multiple boxes. In every one you load a track.
Very powerfull sounds are:
- Hammering (without regularity)
- The sound you make when you drag a wooden chair on the floor, it really travel a lot from my experience
- small dog barking for 1 hour
- the scream of a rooster (only in plausible location) at 4.00
- occasional firecracker
- opening an old door very slowly and shut it with immotivate force after a random amount of time
And my favourite:
a man that scream "GOOOL" randomly multiple times a day. This man really love football and watch it all the time
Honorable mention:
There are some frequency you loose the ability to hear when you grow up, find the higher you can hear, go up some more and blast it under the kids from hell room intermittently all night long. When they will complain their parents will not hear anything. Better to do this every each day, they will start to enjoy some silence and appreciate it more.
Is there a guide on the web how to do this? I'm no audio expert so I'm a bit skeptical that a speaker can get through the ceiling wall to transmit my annoyance to my upstairs neighbor?

Ive learned my neighbors schedule . In the past three days, I’ve played this because they don’t give a shit. Monday night I played the video at 10pm, tue night it was 11pm and tonight 12am. I don’t care anymore! I’m tired but the pettiness in me needs to do this 😂😂😂

The amount of satisfaction in the comments is sad. It is the equivalent amount of inconsiderate people we have to deal with on a day to day basis. This came through for me this morning for an upstairs neighbor who thinks 4am is 12 noon. Thank you for this nuisance. I swear This was made for me and so far all of my demonic neighbors get humbled everytime . You have to be consistent if they even try to annoy you play it as soon as possible and if you have a neighbor that makes noise at midnight while you sleep let this play until morning !!! Haha !

Tip folks : Learn their sleep pattern, become friendly even if they're driving you insane with loud noise elephant footsteps and inconsiderate noise all night be nice and polite ask them if they're a night owl or if they sleep early or drop a question in "did you see the film last night that was on TV late you must of been asleep right?" you'll get a rough idea of if they sleep late or not then the fun can start, My neighbour is a 56 year old man living around younger males were all 30 he's 56 and wakes up midnight elephant footsteps all night banging his door non stop, this guy sleeps during the day so we do whatever he can to make sure he doesn't sleep, I even stand in my kitchen whilst waiting for the kettle to boil to banging my foot against the wall where I know he can hear it.
Don't ask them lol. Quiet your home and listen through the walls/floors.

I'm going to play this all day tomorrow. I have a shower speaker attached to my computer and I put it in a commercial food bucket so it is right under the ceiling vent. I have used other noises, but this sounds exactly like what he has been doing to me.

lol just leaving a comment as i saw the location of this video is Adelaide. I also live in Adelaide. My upstairs neighbours are terrible, they have 2 kids (school age) and let them run and play ball late at night (or it may be just the parents cause the hours they play are really late). They are stomping late at night and slamming cabinet doors. My partner, I and our housemate, all asked them nicely at least 4 times each to stop making so much noise at night but didn't work. We complained to landlord and they said there's nothing they can do (didn't even bother to tell the neighbours anything), so we went to talk with Strata. They 'cannot do anything' either. So here I am, searching "music to annoy neighbours" hahhaa. Cannot thank you enough for this video!!!! Im gonna use it tonight, just as a payback for the last year of dealing with those rude people.

Believe me it’s super revenge tool. My upstair neighbour is a psycho who use to drop heavy things on his floor to disturb us. As soon as he drops I play it in the other room. I m sure he must b seeing stars indoor wd his open eyes

Getting no sleep does hurt.... And it makes you slightly insane, I've noticed recently in myself. Maybe a lot of bad behavior in the world can be chalked up to noisy neighbors driving humans to the brink insanity..... I've began to imagine my neighbor being hit by a bus after 2 years of dealing with him. The thought gives me joy now. It also gives me joy now to play this for him at 2am, since he still has music playing right now and I have to be up for work at 4:30 most mornings. He's gonna be hearing this video as he lays his head down to sleep with his bang buddy that laughs like a seagull all night after playing incredibly loud video games till inappropriate times. I'll lose a couple extra hours of sleep to make him feel how he makes me feel, it's worth it now thanks to what he's driven me to.

I used to have PC speakers with a subwoofer that you could use without the speakers on. So I kept it on a shelf below the ceiling, put on the movie Black Hawk Down, turn off speakers and blast the subwoofer to vibrate their floor. Worked like a charm. They complained but because other neighbours next to me didn't hear anything they couldn't prove anything. They've since moved and my speakers broke, need to find new ones as new neighbours with uncontrollable kids moved in 😭

My upstairs neighbor is a physically large, manic, addict who stomps around in high heels and boots all day long. (Apartment rules are no shoes inside.) She often stays up all night and starts stomping and banging around even louder from 3AM onward. (We also have quiet hours here, which she ignores.) We are quiet and respectful of our neighbors and use earbuds or headphones for everything. But she plays her TV loud all night after management told her not to several times, stomps around from early AM and late non-stop, often wearing heels, heavy platform shoes and/or boots. Drags heavy furniture around on the concrete floor above. Refuses to put area rugs down (after promising management she would.). Drops heavy items as if she does it on purpose. (She probably does.) Ear plugs, pillows over head etc. nothing works to drown it out. We've recorded the stomping and various noise assaults, but management doesn't care and won't do anything about it. We are now sleep-deprived, sick, and have PTS (noise anxiety and trauma symptoms) from the constant noise assaults coming from above. Nothing has helped or worked. You can't reason with insanity and she has no compassion or empathy for anyone. Police called, management, the city (she is running a business out of her apartment). Can't move out, but will asap. Going to try this tactic to give her a taste of her own medicine. Had to buy good speakers. Doubt it will work with this nutjob. But this is the best video I've sound so far to replicate some of the noise assaults we live with every day/night. Fingers crossed.
Unscrew the fire speakers or something so you can get access to the concrete ceiling, then glue the bluetooth ones directly to the concrete.

People...IF you play this in retaliation to your neighbor and they record you you can get in trouble if it is during nuisance hours. There is something called a tenant landlord handbook for every state. Tenants have the right to have a peaceable enjoyment in their apt. IF you get a couple of witnesses what is going on you can sue them for breaking your peaceable enjoyment. My fentanyl using neighbor above me stomp walks, drags furniture across the floor, pounds on the wall, and gives her cats a pool ball to Chase around all night because I complained about her binge excessive nightly noise that is making me sick and made me cancel a major surgery from this. Her uncle is the landlord. I like listening to the sound of helicopter rotors when I am trying to block her noise.
But my landlords say its OK for their royal poodle to gallop all hours.
Sounds familiar. We do have rights, but when management refuses to do anything and protects the perpetrator (because they are both addicts), it's frustrating. I have done everything legal that I can including contacting the president of the property management company and showing them the contract and rules we all signed and where the neighbor is in violation of the contract and our rights to live in peaceful enjoyment, non-harassment of other tenants, and quiet during city and apartment quiet hours etc, and that the noisy harassing tenant should be evicted for repeated violations, but so far, they have done nothing. And the perpetrator knows she can get away with it. Some people are just evil.

I live in a beach in a hi_rise. No construction from after 5pm on Fri until Monday morning. Quiet time is from 11pm~8am. Just have t get creative. Blast construction noise from m~f 8~5 then from 5~11pm I blast different sounds ----high/low frequency noise and from 11pm to 8am I blast frequency fan noises. There’s no law saying you can’t gav a fan on your blalcny. I moved to a condo on the beach. Ian not in my 20’s but these people act like they’re in they’re 100,+6

I have these annoying neighbors that recently moved in to the unit opposite my bedroom wall..and I kid you not, they are blasting the most annoying ass shit ass "music" at three am. I of course reported this to my apartment manager via voicemail...Not sure if it will do any good. I just know if it continues...I'm about to exact some revenge of my own. Oh and the other night, they played the same loud ass crap and I heard the "boom boom boom" noises like of these "songs* have.. bloody awful...reported that one too..I haven't even seen their faces, and I hate they asses because of them playing loud ass shit at all hours through the night.

Anybody did you try this download and did it work? I have noisy neighbors that send sounds into my home all night but no one hears them except me. But they do laugh when they see me and make jokes about noises, so I know it’s them. I figured it has to be infrasound because why do I hear it and no one else does and it hurts me and keeps me awake. Others have said hook up a subwoofer and download an app to return the noise. But I don’t know how to do that, and will it stay in low frequency so others don’t hear it when I send it to return my neighbors gift of sound back. Does the sound I send go out from the speaker as to bother others in my home? . My stereo system has 2 speakers a separate amplifier with am/ fm, separate cd player and phonograph, I have a separate subwoofer but never hooked it up, in fact I don’t know how to use it and I just picked up at a garage sale a new Sony amplifier, well its new to me and it sound better than my old one. All this has been what it sounds like 24/7 for over a year by losers above me, but especially from the main one whose an unemployeed drunk and drug addict jack o lantern loser who never works and instead stays home making a great deal of the noise, while the wife goes off to earn the money. This may have been a good idea only the constant interference of worthless add just renders it useless.
