- Overweight upstairs neighbour walks around on creaky floor during all hours of the day. Early morning, late at night.
alternate version:
• Upstairs Neighbour Noi...

This is absolutely my life right now with the added bonus of floorboard cracking and popping noises. Oddly enough, listening to this is actually kinda therapeutic because it makes me feel like I can control the noise to some degree. Thanks?
Oddly enough this audio works better for me than trying to block my upstairs neighbors out with white noise because they blend in with it. Hey, at least it's consistent.
Anyone else put this on blast up to their ceiling
Hell yeah or even better, send this to your neighbour if you know their email/phone #
As we speak!! See how they like it
Me tonight 😈
I’m so using this today when I’m out!!
hot to install the speakers on a ceiling? I'm begginer-punisher (
LITERALLY the entity who live above me. They installed hardwood without fastening the bolts in the flooring. He paces in specific spots at ALL hours. Early morning, middle of the night, afternoon. He doesn't work so he just sits in his room playing video games or smoking weed (can smell it through my window).
I hear this coupled with a heavy-footed child running and doors slamming (knocking the picture frames out of place).
I AM FED UP.
I'm sorry to hear that. Some people just have no consideration. The place where I recorded this was the same, a "big boy" who didn't work, stayed home all day smoking pot and playing video games. Then add in a floor that wasn't installed properly, and Voilà!
I am fed up with the same problem and everything I do makes it worse, so I have a little surprise for them.
I sympathize with your situation: mine was mainly a creaking floor which could wake me up from sleep. I located the worst creaky spot with a 2x4 and pressed the wood up against the ceiling right there using a car jack, just enough pressure to be able to hear the creaking start. It worked. Of course I don’t know if that could help your situation and wouldn’t want to create worse problems for you. Good luck and I hope you can have a better living environment soon.
I am that upstairs neighbors, it's not our fault, it's the building fault... You can't ask someone to sit still in there home, just move or give him some cat and move in
@@soup7mile Sometimes its the buildings' fault. But sometimes it is over weight and inconsiderate neighbours, or a bit of both. Its okay not everyone knows how to walk on an old floor.
This is the nightmare of living in apartments. Which so many of us can only afford. People say so move? You know how hard it is to find a new affordable apartment? Our country hasn’t had new apartment building built to keep up for demand even close. The system is supposed to be setup for everyone to be stuck in a mortgage. So meanwhile so many places not enough are built. Every modern apartment building should have sound regulations. They might have to have insulation in interior walls IDK. All I know is I live in a building built in 1948 and the walls do almost nothing. It’s like being in the room with the people next door. Who have a 2 year old who runs laps from 630am to 9am.
My neighbors have been real quite recently and i cant focus... Thanks for the video though! it helps me focus a lil bit, but it needs more marbles being dropped, 3 am song stuck on loop, screaming, construction going on.
And drilling at 12 am...
My upstairs neighbor has a bowling alley 😂
Greatest audio to fall asleep to
That’s inhabitable living! I’m sorry! Noise like that is enough to drive the sanest person insane!
Hack job "renovation" plus over weight people stomping around.
@@DeadPerspective LITERALLY the story of my life. I've nicknamed my neighbour "big boy"
@@DeadPerspective I'm currently living like this
@@DeadPerspective someone just moved in above me and this is exactly what it sounds like. Is there anything I can do about this?
@@duckh0le859 You could try drowning it out with white noise (I have several vids like rain and washing machine) but if that doesn't work try letting your neighbour know how loud it is in a polite way, ask if they are able to walk more gently during sensitive hours, and/or tell landlord or building manager there needs to be a reno done
I made a map forever ago in the source engine, and the premise was "there's a party upstairs, and you're not invited. Find a way to have fun."
For the ambient sound, I had music with the treble cut and bass boosted, and a loop of a lot of people talking. Years later today, I stumbled upon the audio files, and I realized I was missing something - this, exactly. I'm playing the two in the background and letting this play and wow, does it add so much life to what I was going for.
I never published the map, and I regret that for everything I've created, but this makes me sort of want to go back and give it a do-over.
Thank you, helps me sleep at night 😂
how
@@australianpatriotlol I’ve been living in my college dorm for 5 months now and at the beginning the guy above me annoyed me bc he would stomp everywhere but now I find it comforting when I hear the floor squeak for some odd reason
This is awesome very soothing thank you mrs
Just what I needed
Glad to be of help!
This video is even better thank you so much for uploading it your the best 😀😃
Wow this is so nice gives my brain awesome tingles!
using this to desensitize my puppy haha!!
great idea
Am I the only person that loves the sound of dreaking floors? I purposely searched this for asmr/relaxation.
this is very..... intresting
Thank you sooo much this is exactly what my neighbor sounds like revenge surely will be sweet!!!!
Certain humans just don’t know how to be good neighbors and need to have to live with each other only. I’m so sick of younger gen types moving in who seem to live in their own world and have zero F’s to care about anyone else living on the other side of the wall. Ugh!!!!!!!!
How about hearing this but get this, they literally follow you from room to room and you clearly hear it. It's almost like they can see you no matter how it sounds it's happening to me right now. I moved in this apartment because this what was happening at my last one, I've been searching for some type of logic and I give the situation all sorts of excuses but I can't lie to myself it's beyond weird.
This exactly what I hear right now
This is what I hear!!!!!! If it’s not too much to ask, could you please do one with pacing? My neighbor does this when she’s on the phone…for hours on end!! Your videos rocks!!!
Could you record her pacing on phone like you said?
It doesn’t bother me. I tend 2 sleep better when they are noisy.
I Just moved here the 28 th and they sound like DINOSAURS walking jeeeezzzzz
Quality content lol
only the best!!
what did you use to record this noise?
Please pray for protection from cult bullies...
I got the same issue it's stressing me out I never had this issue until these neighbor's moved in upstairs 6 months Ago I can't take it anymore therefore moving out
Sorry to hear, hope you find a nice place. Some people walk around like... this video lol
I tried to be considerate. I put down thick rugs, I minimized steps after 10, I walked on the balls of my feet. But after a year and a half of sleep deprivation from loud arguments in the middle of the night, video games played at 3 am etc, etc, l m leaving this on repeat. I’m the upstairs neighbor.
Creaking? It sounds more like the floor is about to break. If it was me I'd be worried about a foot smashing through my ceiling.
Not sure if this counts as ‘noisy neighbors’ because it’s the floor that’s making the sound not the person. Don’t get me wrong it’s annoying but if the floor wasn’t creaking the person walking around wouldn’t be a bother.
I’m pretty sure this is a repair issue which you can request that the landlord fix. I would talk to your landlord about it, i’d even make it easier for them and google a few solutions.
The source of this audio is both, a creaky floor, and people with nothing between their ears who don't know how to walk. For example, when you walk, do your feet make a heel-toe-heel-toe motion, or do you stomp around flat footed in between the beer and whiskey?
@@DeadPerspective Why would you step between the beer and whiskey, when you can step ON the beer and whiskey?
I would like to hear 10 hours of shattering bottles.
@@DeadPerspectivewhat i really really wonder if the upstair neighbors hear the creacking themselves? If not how is it technically possible they dont hear it like we do? My upstairs neighbor has wooden floorboard in his sleeping room with carpet, everytime he turns in his bed I hear the creacky sound
This video is very good i love it you have the best sounds i have a very special request can u do upstairs neighbor's walking barefoot on squeaky floors 4 hours asmr please this will be part 2 video the best video of all time👣👣😂💛👍
Believe it or not, this was barefoot!
I don't get it. This is better than white noise? It's floor creaking, loudly. Why would I want to hear more of that , in addition to the neighbors?
It’s for if you move out of a noisy apartment into a nice house and miss it. Happens more than you’d expect
I get that every .opening from my neighbor upstairs🤦
I would be so traumatized if I lived up there I would be crying in the next room
*cackles in Aba and Preach*
one of the most annoying noises i have ever ever fucking heard i am determined not to have a house with stupid creaky floorboards
1:21:02 that sounds like upstares
Apartments in NA are too thin built.
true for the most part! cheap and fast, not built to last
The same in Toronto, CA, and Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK!

21:05 and 29:05 sound much better! IMHO
Is this a woman or man
fat gamer boy spoiled ninny
@@DeadPerspective he sure moves around a lot for someone who sits around playing video games all day....🤣
