      @@KatriceVee I'm sorry to hear about your car troubles. It can be frustrating when things don't go as planned. Taking it to a mechanic is usually a good idea, but sometimes finding a good one is a hustle. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can consider seeking a second opinion from a trusted mechanic you know to check it out. Hang in there, and I hope your car gets back on the road soon!

    I'm currently doing the job but when I got to the fuel like. The other end doesn't have the same screws, where should I go? Thank you!

    • @all-about-cars-basics
      @all-about-cars-basics  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You will have to get the line together with the rail. Disconnect the connector to the rail usually its located towards the back of the engine. The rail is held in place by 3 I think 11mm bolts (located just on top of the intake manifold). Take them out and the rail will come out together with the side going into the valve cover.

      Thank you so much! Got it out. Everything is loose now ready to pull out the cover. Quick question to put back the cover do I put on the same twisted angle it came out? And how to avoid the gasket from bending out from the gasket with all the positioning? Thank you so much for your help

    • @all-about-cars-basics
      @all-about-cars-basics  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@raunylima3863 Yes you have to put it back the same way you took it out. I don't know for whatever reason BMW decided to design their engine that way. So annoying. Try using silicone to hold the gasket to the valve cover and take your time because that is the trickiest part of the whole process.

    • @all-about-cars-basics
      @all-about-cars-basics  Před 5 měsíci

      It basically depends with the person doing it. Under normal conditions should take between 2 - 4 hours
