I finally splurged for a set of these today. I've been wanting to cut the ball joint mounting locations off and relocate them for a 1.5" drop and to correct the poor gbody geometry and bump steer. The purpose is to use them to make a mold to cast them myself and because of the bolt on hubs I wouldn't need a machine shop 200mi away to bore a hole and press the spindle shafts in. Simply drill and tap the holes and it would be drop spindles combined with a factory brake and steering upgrade. I'm hoping I can get around to it sometime this summer. May do the 1st few prototypes with aluminum because it's easier to work with and on tooling.

      @@jlee3568 so...
I have found that the S10 master with a 1" bore is not quite cutting it. The peddle travel is ridiculous. I'm going to a 1.125" bore from a mid '90s 1/2 ton next to tighten it up. With stock brakes it probably is fine. The booster must be stronger or something, factory 4th gen F body is a 1" bore (my front brakes are 2001 Trans Am) so it should have been fine.
Just look up a master for a 2001 S10 on RockAuto, just keep scrolling and you'll find the RHD mail carrier version.

That can be seen in this video czcams.com/video/_Jqql4zOLlE/video.html . For disc brake options for the Stock Body rear axle, go to www.gbodyforum.com and search for rear disc brake upgrade. That's all the help I can provide because I have no experience upgrading the stock Gbody rear axle.

The honest answer is, I don't know. However, if I do a super lazy search for GBody spindles on summit racing the '78 El Camino is grouped in with the other Gbodies. I have never tried to put anything smaller than 17' wheels on the front of mine post brake swap so I don't know for sure, but the 2000 Blazer did come stock with 15x7 wheels. Wheels were gone when I got the brakes. www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-csum77m500/applications/make/chevrolet/model/el-camino

I didn't use a blazer rear. I have a whole other video about using the Ford 8.8 rear and then using the Blazer rear discs on that. To be honest, I don't see why you couldn't make the Blazer rear brakes work on the stock 7.5, but it won't be bolt-up. there will at least be drilling of new holes.

No, must be 2wd Blazer. I had to get my spindles out of the States as there were none in any wrecking yards in BC or AB.

I'm just going to be honest and say I don't know. The front 2wd vs 4wd spindles look different in a quick google search, but I can't say for sure without them in hand. The belltech stuff I have no experience with. I would call belltech and ask to be completely honest. I'm sorry I cant be more help. Good luck.

@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades may be my service. I've seen the brake upgrade videos from different places but I'm very interested in watching yours. Judging by the comments it's pretty detailed and informative. I'll keep trying and thanks for putting this content out
