Isn't this their 19th season? Maybe it could be something they do throughout all of next season since it will be season 20, which is pretty good for CZcams, right? 20 seasons of a show. Impressive for any show, I think. That could be what they're celebrating because they have done so much food over the years it would have to be multiple episodes lol

I agree with this, but they’d have to look back and redo the pre-Mythical Kitchen stuff that was good, but can’t compete anymore.
Cholula and Valentina’s are my go to for Mexican, Crystal for fried seafood, Tabasco on eggs, and Frank’s for chicken. That’s how I roll.

Personally, Tapatio is my favorite. I agree that Cholula and Tapatio are the best, but Cholula is more geared towards those who enjoy a casual spice, whereas Tapatio aims to offer a genuine kick

I stop watching this episode every time they put Tapatio in the bucket.
I always, ALWAYS have Cholula, Tapatio, and Frank's in my fridge. All of them are so good and have their uses. I probably use Cholula the most just because I feel like it goes the best with a lot of foods, but I really like the amount of heat Tapatio has. It's definitely the spiciest of all the sauces they had on the episode. Frank's is just the most classic american vinegar sauce though and it's so good with like chili, eggs, or wings.

It all depends what I'm putting it on. Sriracha on Asian foods, Frank's on chicken and Tapatio as my favorite all around for Mexican, eggs, etc. I mix Tapatio with sour cream and salsa as a chip dip. It's so good.

I'm glad to see Franks and Cholula did well, both are personal favorites of mine.
My first taste of Cholula was in 1993. I had moved back to MO but left most of my stuff in storage in Albuquerque. My dad and I went down to get it and stopped in Amarillo for lunch. I don't even remember the restaurant, but we wrote down the info for the sauce and started ordering it by mail. I will happily eat any of these sauces but Cholula is still my go to.
I will agree, Frank's is the best for wings. Crystal is best for red beans and rice.

I honestly think you should do these sauce taste tests on their designed dishes for the final round. You can't test sauces straight or on a cracker, you saw this in the BBQ sauce video with the chicken to ribs to pork, they are made for specific things!

to me, Tabasco is just heat with very little flavor. I just can't get with it.
Cholula is just sauce. It has literally no heat. Great flavor, but no heat. Tabasco's vinegarry flavor and VERY minimal ingredients (literally 3) makes it a great base for almost any meal and it it brings actual spice.

I’ll say I just recently got Cholula’s Chipotle flavor and for any cholula lovers, it’s incredible. Definitely more specific to Mexican food in flavors but it blew me away. I’ve been such a consistent fan of their original I never thought to try their other flavors and it tastes truly like if cholula was bbq sauce. It’s phenomenal.

The viscosity of Tabasco works in its favor for breaded items because it puts tha flavor on breading but doesn’t make it soggy…plus it’s just the best…love the vinegar…once your use to it it’s hard to go back
