- In a bold effort called a "bioblitz," teams of scientists, students and volunteers took part in a 24-hour inventory of every species living in the 116-square-mile Muir Woods National Monument just north of San Francisco. Carter Evans reports.
I've been there a few times and can never get enough of it. Absolutely Magnificent ❤
A mountain lion! I wondered about them when I hiked alone on the Bootjack Trail from PanToll Station into the major trails in Muir Woods. So glad I did not encounter one on my lonely walk.
Beautiful in all God's creation.
