@@purpp6114 no... not anyone w any semblance of understanding of the gm. Vegas came off a hard fought 7 gm series. COL was off for about a week... Lehner hadnt played for 3 weeks(and im not sure hes a playoff G despite his quality in Reg Season) nevermind that 9 min penalty... no.. no one wrote off LV. Even after they were in the 0-2 hole they had outplayed, outskated and outcoached the Avs for most of that gm, no one wrote off the Knights. Who are u kidding?

God I love the Golden Knights. From their very first season, their very first game, they play hungry, they play with a chip on their shoulder. Relentless. Mad respect for this team. From a NY Rangers fan.

I adopted them for the playoffs their first year and got hooked.
Avalanche have shelled up. Since game one Colorado has been out shot 119-63. Thats a 56 shot difference. Grubauer is the only reason this series isnt a blowout.
Kelly McCrimmon looks like a genius now for having fired Gallant and then hired DeBoer as HC.
Yeah and now he’s starting to show large gaps in his game with some bad goals allowed, if the Avs wanna turn this around they have to start producing some shots. Deboer’s coaching style is a suffocating offense that overwhelms you with a ludicrously large amount of shots and a ton of Ozone time. The only way around it is to t and get the first line going cause without the first line Colorado is on life support, mackinnon is the life blood of this team without him there is no Avs, if they’re able to win game 5 at home they’ll win in 7 but if they lose and it goes back to Vegas it’ll be Vegas in 6 won’t even be close. I’m just glad this has been a fun series
@@ElysiumGamingNetwork Grubaeur is being smothered. Constant onslaught of shots. Almost 45 shots a gm and the depth(and ferocity) of the Knights... multiple lines just smoyhering him. Only thing thats ever keeping the Avs in this series REALLY simce gm 1 team eise is the PP. 5 on 5 theyve been outmatched, outskated, outplayed and outcoached.

@@ElysiumGamingNetwork I woouldnt be so confident COL pulls it out if it goes to 7. Itll really be HOW they get to gm 7. If they narrowly win 1 and the Knights paste them like theyve been doing. The momentum is stilll likely heavily in LVs favor. Thats the biggest issue right noe, other than that gm 1 blowout, COL has never looked to be in control. And foetunate some of the games werent more lopsided on the scoreboard as LV missed out on some really great play and chances... beginming of this game... gm 3... amd gm 2. COL has had no answers for LVs play and adjustments. If it goes to 7... if the play continues as it has, LV all day.

I didn't keep updated on that trade. But I can see how you guys want to tear ur GM a new one. Patch was rlly liked in Montreal. But yes surprisingly Suzuki is playing like a real forward.

I am an Avs fan. I can say one thing. If Vegas keeps playing like this, they will win in six games. Colorado has fallen asleep since Game 2, 15 minutes into period 1. Avs are lucky that Game 1 Fleury did not play and lucky again to have won Game2 in OT. How much can Grubauer take it? The guy is bombarded since Game 2. Any top goalie would collapsed at one point. I don't see how Colorado is going to win Game 5. Only thing that will help them is home ice. Again, in these playoffs, teams are proving that you don't need a superstar forwards to win games. Look at the Leafs, and now look at Avs. Mac, Gabe, and Landy? Where are you guys? If you play as a unit, you can win the Cup. I see Vegas winning the Cup and they deserve it.
I agree with this. The avs have to spark something to mount a comeback. Vegas has done a great job at locking things down defensively. Grubauer is an amazing goalie, and as a Vgk fan I have respect for him. However, as you have stated there is only so much he can do. I do not discredit the avs because this series is far from over, but we will see what happens game 5.

Even if we had Roy, Brodeur or Hasek in their prime, the way Vegas plays...wow! Sustained offensive attack. Avs enter the offensive zone for a few seconds and they lose puck. Shots + shot attempts by Vegas is like double of Colorado. No real threat on Fleury. In Game 3, Grubauer almost stole the game. I just hope that if Vegas meets Montreal, they destroy Price.
Well you top guys are there. They are just being shut down. They arent given any open ice. Thus you feel they arent even in the game.
@@brucebanner2222 that is something I would like to see. Winnipeg seems to be having trouble, just as the leafs did. Price has been insane, the amount of calculated passes the leafs did in game 7, and Price still denied Matthews. Before thinking of this, I am still nervous against the avs.
@@LevRok That is what I call team play by the Vegas team. Vegas has lot a great scorers but no one close to Mac and Rantanen. When a team can shut down pretty much the best line in the league, bravo to that team. If Mac, Landy and Ranta are that good, it will be up to them to prove in the next few games left. Otherwise, Vegas is going to win. Vegas, like Montreal, are proving that you don't need a number one overall draft in your team to win the Cup. Leafs, Oilers, Pens, and now Avs...maybe.

@@edschramm6757 I was really hoping for the bounce back this game. They’ve been bounced from the playoffs twice in this round in really disappointing manners, last year in a game 7. If we don’t respond next game it might be over unfortunately and there might be a coaching change.

Glad they got that right in overturning the goaltender interference call on VGK’s last goal. I can’t believe they even called that to begin with.
The Aves seem to be skating in wet concrete. Along with the Knights exceptional puck handling, offensively and especially defensively... The Knight have consistently plucked the puck away from every Aves player for the last 2 and half games.
The only reason the Aves are still in this contest is due to Grubauer. Until the Aves come up with a better answer, this series is done by game 6. And Im an Aves fan.

Matt... despote losing gm 2 after that first period in gm 2 theyve COMPLETELY outplayed Colorado. Wasnt about Reaves. Frankly COL is fortunate its 2-2 as LV could and should very well be up 3-1.
I think it's more to do with Pacioretty's return. Reaves is more of a liability than anything else

Why do you lower the fan volume, really takes away from the experience of watching the game. This is why I watch the replays on the NHL page, they have the NBC replays, which are louder and better

Wow. Even though Vegas won game 3, they had to play such a phenomenal game just to squeak by with a one-goal win. I didn’t think they stood a chance to win another game this series. I was wrong. This series is a heavy weight title fight.
Game 2 was just as easily theirs, so I don’t understand the thought process . . .
Exactly, they thoroughly dominated games 2/3 if not for grubauer both of those games are handily won by VGK. If anyone should be worried it’s Colorado, they have played poorly and are very lucky to be even in this series, but at any point they could flip a switch offensively, oozing talent, but VGK are a fantastic team that has been very consistent since they debuted
@@Mikko909 That’s kind of my point... Vegas has dominated shots on goal-since the Game 1 shellacking, they’ve taken nearly 50 more shots on goal than Colorado. Between games 2 and 3 specifically, they out-shot Colorado by 39 *but won only one of those two games, and by only one goal.* In Game 3 alone, Vegas gave what looked like a *Herculean* effort to barely squeeze out a one-goal win.
In other words, until last night, Colorado was by far the more efficient team. To me, they looked like they could run away with any game at the drop of a hat. And since they had been taking so few shots, they looked like they might score every time they took one. Vegas finally looked like a dominant team in this series last night-they finally put their foot on Colorado’s throat and didn’t let them hang around.

Game 5 is so important for Vegas. If they win, they can not only potentially close the series in 6, but also avoid a game 7. Montreal would prefer to play Vegas. Dead puck era hockey at its finest.

The Avs have zero defense. They’re gonna get smoked because all the team cares about is scoring all the goals, it makes them rely on Grubauer too much
Vegas had the number one defense and CO had the number 2 this season. If it actually shows up in this series don't count the Avs out.

Первый гол, в площади ворот нельзя вратарю препятствовать делать сейв. Игрок не трогал вратаря, вот и гол. А в последнем моменте игрок не толкнул, т.е. не повлиял на траекторию движения вары, он сам катился назад и сам стал автором гола. Вмешательства игрока не было.

Игрок легонько коснулся его pads (подушек этих), и поэтому и было видео ревью, чтобы узнать, не было ли толчка. Толчка не было, с варой никто не контактировал, он сам после сейва двигался внутрь ворот, и незафиксированная шайба пересекла линию. Это мое мнение.

Do I want the Avs to win, yes! Will they, most likely not. Coach hasn't made any significant adjustments to play style. Everyone has been playing flat since game 2. And the Knights actually have four strong lines. I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't look promising.

I am a die-hard Knights fan, but IMO the Avalanche coach was out of line for his dumb and critical comments about his players. They have been playing in an outstanding fashion. I just believe VGK is simply getting better and better.
I'm an avs fan and i agree, this series is over lol.. the knights are on a different level and i believe that comeback win in game 3 demoralized the avalanche.

@@pancake105, I am not saying Kadri would have had a lot of points, but he could've been useful in closing out Vegas. He has not played since game 3 against St. Louis. If Colorado loses the series, his suspension will be blamed.

In either case, I am not sure if Colorado can make the adjustments needed in that series either. I picked Knights in 6 and feel comfortable in saying that is a likely outcome.
@@thc351, I predicted Knights in 6 from the beginning. What you are saying is spot on. The Knights are controlling the pace of the game. I don't think Colorado can adjust. I feel as if the Knights are trying hard to avenge the team that lost to the Capitals. The only difference between this year's Knights and those Capitals is that those Caps had Ovechkin.

The Avs better fight like game 5 is an elimination game or this series is gonna end in 6. They've lost the last 8 periods of this series by a WIDE margin. Colorado's top line in particular has been completely MIA and they need them to stand a chance.
