The refs let playoff hockey be playoff hockey by ignoring the gritty, dirty scrums from both sides and only calling the extremely blatantly obvious calls like Karlsson getting tripped up. VGK seems to work best as the underdogs so hopefully they don't make the same mistake as their previous conquests by underestimating the Habs. Go Knights Go!

This game wasn't the best example of that but yes. It's a bit annoying when a series ends like this when you're cheering for the losing team and the other team just gets the lucky bounces in the game that matters the most. I'm not saying Vegas won by sheer luck, not by any stretch, but sometimes you just get games where somehow everything works out. Rebounds just bounce right to your attackers and shots just get through. It's hockey.

Alright the Avs, still have time to improve in order to past the 2nd round. It’s been like idk 3 years now that Colorado has failed to past round 2, I am just slightly concerned about this team’s future. As of for Vegas, they fought hard and a team that still has title hopes under their belt. Yes but an experienced 30 YO center with grit is exactly what the Avs needed in this series. VGK has a ton of Cup winning vets on their team and an inexperienced Avs team really got exposed.
