I really hope this series goes to game 7. This is playoff final type hockey.
That was one of the best games I've watched ever and I'm not a fan of either team.

I watched Montreal and Winnipeg last night. 500 fans, Montreal wins 1 zip. I fell asleep in the third period. What a snooze fest. Wish I could have stayed up for this one. What a difference a crowd makes.

We are seeing great goal tending throughout this playoff year. Wonder if the abbreviated 56 game schedule helped to leave something on the tank.
I can't wait for Canada to go back to normal. That Vegas crowd was awesome. It made these highlights even more exciting.

What a series this has been, easily the most exciting in the league. Game two was incredible. The third period of this game was great also.
Just watching the highlights had me on the edge of my seat. I can imagine how awesome it was to watch the whole game. I might have to start watching this series. Don't care about the teams but love great hockey.
@@vmi4172 you really should. I'm not a fan of either team either, but my team didn't make the playoffs. So much talent on both of these teams, and they're leaving everything on the ice. The goaltending has been phenomenal on both sides as well. What's not to like?

The West is on a higher level. I'm not expecting the Lightning (or Hurricanes, if they pull off the near-unthinkable comeback) to get blown out, but unless we see some significant injuries, the only way the West loses is by defeating itself.
Grubauer played insane this game, amazing how good Vegas is without Reaves.

@@meowza don’t sleep on Montreal, they’re good on the kill and at short handed chances, good on the rush, all 4 lines are solid overall rn and they have the best goaltending in the league. So don’t think colorado or Vegas would sweep them or even win in 5.
Though I will say this much, were Colorado to win this series I would love for them to Montreal in the Conference Finals and wear their retro jersey when they are in Montreal. Beating Montreal at home while looking in part like the Quebec Nordiques would be amazing.

Vegas is the only team I basically want to see dragged though the mud and disrespected by any team in the NHL. Though back to that point, I'm not an avs fan lmao. My favorite team is in the Central division and yeah it sucks my team isn't in the playoffs but that's how it goes sometimes ( I'm a Blackhawks fan) and I'm happy for any team that wins the cup except for a team that doesn't deserve. Which narrows it down to one team at that point. Which is Vegas.

Monumental win for vegas. If they lose there, it's a done deal. Now Colorado has to come back from their first loss this playoffs, in an insanely loud building for even a limited compacity game. 2-2 heading back to Colorado seems likely.

Well, every broadcast during this series on nbc has been all “blah, blah, blah, Vegas, blah, blah, fleury, fleury, blah, blah, Vegas...” so I guess it’s even now. They had like a whole minute during the second game where fleury was standing up in between play and the camera was panning him up and down while the broadcasters were gushing over him like teenage girls. Grub is the better netminder anyway so he should be getting the credit.

@Kyle Mac I agree Vegas needed the W and they skated like it. I was thinking that the Avs were playing possum to get them to tire out but to no avail and Vegas took advantage. I hope there’s nothing wrong with Grub after that second goal (I winched when I seen him do the splits). Can’t wait for game 4!

@@Navs126 I think part of the reason the Avs are struggling to find their footing rn is because of how Vegas is playing but it’s also a lack of effort on the Colorado side. They have the talent to figure it out and once they do they should be fine but how long is it gonna take...

Except the difference is that when the Avs outshoot teams like that they blow the other team out. Last two games Vegas reals off a ton of shots and gets a loss and a one goal game.
It doesn't mean much when Vegas only wins by one goal. They doubled their shot total, but only raised their goals by 1.5 as a result.
