I let a root get under my Kubota L2501 when I was aggressively using my grapple on my front lift and it just happened to spear my hydraulic pump and fittings! The tree got the best of me that day! $2500 dollars later, it was fixed. Your model of Kubota has skid plates available but I have seen none for the L series. Another project I have in mind.

    1. I like the mods!
    2. I need more chain hooks everywhere too.
    3. The ballast box is awesome. I had a carry all with a couple of 2" receivers the I used to slide a 12k lb winch in and serve as a forestry winch. Unfortunately, hard long pulls with an electric winch and you get a lot of heat. I haven't used it since I got a bigger tractor and built a bigger carry all, so my deep cycle battery is probably dead. I was thinking about building my own forestry winch, but I really don't think I would use it as much now that I have a 10k lb tractor vs the 3500 lb one I was using.
    4. The more experience I get on tractors, the more I think a B series would be EXTREMELY handy size between yard duties and trail maintenance. I'm going to be checking out more of your videos for sure!
