    I see you over at RCAF Polar Express with Dave and visiting ED at My Cluttered Garage. Both awesome channels, both guys great personalities. But when I watched this video, Martin at DIY My Way immediately came to mind with your presentation and discussion of the work performed. And boy o boy, Martin is THE guy for editing and delivery. Yes, that is a compliment....to both of you. (-:

    How's she goin'? It's fun to make mods to our tractors and make them more unique and truly 'our' tractor. The step is handy to have for sure and the hand grip is just a natural add. I find with the sub-compact and compact tractors there isn't a lot of room for a tool tote, but this one hangs off the ROPS and is pretty well out of the way. It'll be handy for sure. Thanks for sharing your mods and take care!!!

    Hi David! Nice choice on your first mods! Did your ammo can bracket fit into existing holes on the ROPS or did you have to drill them? Also, it looks like you have ladder hooks mounted to the inside of your ROPS. What are they for? Thanks for sharing!

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  Před 2 lety +3

      Hi Martin! Thank you, buddy. :) The holes on the ROPS were put there at the factory. I'm not sure exactly what they were pre-drilled for, but I'm glad they're there for the ammo can mounting brackets. Ha, I forgot about the ladder hooks. I originally mounted them using some zip ties facing to the rear so I could take my pole saw out to the woods. I only did that once and over time the hooks bounced around and settled on the inside of the ROPS. Now I use them to hang my forestry helmet, hearing protection, my camera bag, spare Kubota hat, etc. LOL Thanks for watching and see you on the next one! - David

    Hey David, over the years I have done several mods to my Massey Ferguson 1433V. One was a toolbox ammo can, I got the ammo can mount from SWAG. It allowed me a mounting base for the can and also allows me to remove the box when needed. Ron

      Hi Dwayne! Agreed. I use it just as much as I thought. The step on the other hand, I can't ever remember to step onto it when getting down. Maybe one day it will become more natural. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you on the next one! - David

    • @dwayneloftice2326
      @dwayneloftice2326 Před 2 lety +3

      David....one other caution point for the grab handle that I discovered. When removing or installing your loader from the tractor, be mindful of the much tighter clearance between the inside of the handle to the tractor hood when approaching or pulling away from thr loader. Your attention needs to be focused on the left side of the tractor. It's a very tight clearance. I'm going to contact "saltymakes" to let him know. Maybe his next generation could be a offset bend more to the outside or a narrower handle opening or even both. Just an inch or so wider clearance to the tractor hood would make an already "great addition" to any tractor just a little bit better.

      @@dwayneloftice2326 Hey Dwayne. Wow man, thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. I'm sure people would be watching for it, but very good information. I will likely remove my handle before taking off the loader - which I still haven't done. Thanks again!
