    Hi, Ed here at MCG. Mike from @Peacefield Farm_MN sent a grab handle to me that he designed and fabricated for his Kubota B2601 compact tractor and asked me to review and share my thoughts with you. There is no drilling or modification of the tractor needed. The design uses existing holes and just bolts onto your LA435 front end loader. You can purchase one of these handles by contacting Mike at mgalla4728@gmail.com or visit this link: www.saltymakes...
    I am not affiliated with @Peacefied Farm_MN nor do I benefit from any of the orders you may place. I was just asked to give a review of this grab handle and share it with you. It really works great on my Kubota B2601 with the LA435 front end loader. I'm not sure if will work with the LA434 or other loader assemblies, so be sure to reach out to Mike directly with your questions at mgalla4728@gmail.com. I hope it works for you too!

    Thanks for sharing this! I saw your video and then reached out to Salty to see if these handles would fit my LX3310 with the LA535 loader, and turns out it’ll fit exactly like on the LA435. So I ordered two, one for each loader arm. They are super solid, and it looks like they changed the grip material, it’s more like a traction strip like you’d put on stair treads to keep from slipping. Seems like it could peel off, but mine’s holding strong even in sub-freezing temps for several weeks now. I’m thrilled with them, thanks a ton for featuring these on your channel. I never would have known about them otherwise.

    Nice invention. I had a coworker who had a F 350 4x4 company truck issued to him. By the time he had 75,xxx miles on he had 3 steering columns put in it. The mechanic told him to get some running boards put on it and not to use the steering wheel to pull hisself into the cab. That will definitely save your tractor.

    that is very neat maybe you could talk him in to makeing a leveling rod kit for the endloader. i have the same kubota and loader you have and no one makes a kit for the loader.

    • @fhuber7507
      @fhuber7507 Před 3 lety +1

      Level indicating rod is really easy to make.
      Not quite as easy to understand what its telling you as yo might expect.
      A bolt with bushing to affix the rod to the quick attach (loader side)
      Long rod bent for an eye to go on the above bolt
      A bracket for the rod to guide it and act as your indicator point. This goes near where the loader frame takes a bend.
      Bend a "V" or "W" (depending how you look at it) in the rod such that the point is in the guide bracket when the bucket is level.
      Raise the loader and actuate the bucked to full dump position. Cut the rod appx 6 inches past the guide/indicator bracket. This ensures the rod won't fall out when you dump the bucket.
      You may want to paint or otherwise mark the rod for other level indications. The rod is only accurate at one loader height. (main lift) if the loader does not have the auto-level linkage.
      My tractor came with an indicator rod.
      I am working out the markings on the rod for different implements and different loader heights.
      My pallet forks do not level at the same rod indication as the bucket. (each at 1 inch above ground when leveled, for comparison)

    I was just thinking a grab handle on the top rear corner of my Branson loader frame would be nice.

    • @fhuber7507
      @fhuber7507 Před 3 lety

      Branson BL150 loader appears to have similar frame construction, but no drilled holes.
      BL150 loader goes to the ##15 series Branson tractors which are larger than your Kubota.
      Kubota does make a series the same size as the Branson I have.
      (## is the engine HP, 15 is essentially the tractor frame size)
      Note that it looks like the grab handle will stay with the loader when you disconnect it from the tractor. (with both your machine and mine)
      So if you take the loader off for shredding, you not only lost the grab handle, you lost the ability to grab the loader to aid in climbing up.
      Shredding at speed, you want the loader off so it doesn't bounce and shock the tractor frame.
