  • In this video we'll go over the fix for Tahoes that suffer from wet areas in the passenger footwell. We found a really quick and easy solution!
-Where is that water coming from!?
-Footwell is always wet after rain or washes

I’ve watched cowl drain issue videos for a couple years now(probably close to 75-100 videos) and not once did anyone mention there was a removable duct behind the coolant overflow. Very helpful info. Screwing with this issue as we speak.

your explanation of the plugged cowl drain and how to fix it was the true explanation of how to fix the proble, Most of the other videos missed this, In wyoming its not water in the blower box but ice which seized my blower. Thank you.

2003 Z71, purchased new, 330,000 miles; driver's side leak dribbling down inside cover of the fuse box in the left dashboard you see when driver's door is opened. I appreciate your taking the time and energy to quickly show us the solution to the passenger side problem. Great camera work, lighting and narration. Next - a video on the usefulness of magnetized tools when working with small parts under the hood.

I appreciate the video as I have same issue on 1997 Tahoe, but note, when I took this apart, mine was clean as can be, so I'm still searching for cause of water penetration on passenger side. Note, I also had to seal the windshield, which worked, but that not the cause of most water...

this was a great help to me... I will try this for my Tahoe and hopefully, that solves the problem with the leak on the passenger footwell.

I have the same problem. This is the first video showing the vent drain access. Water enters behind the hvac box and firewall when raining or washing. I have a 89 GMC K1500.

Dude I've been going crazy crazy all day.I have my Tahoe all apart, blower motor dripping water threw gasket, remove it.stuck my hand in there, can't feel or see anything. It's now midnight and I haven't inspected the flapper, earlier I was close thow.i knew around where the problem was and removed over flow tank and removed screw for the plastic piece you showed in video but I could of swear all I saw was like insulation so I put it back together there.I was going to buy foam spray, rubber spray sealant and blindly spray it in hole.now I will check it again what you just did.so there's hope. I don't want to have to cover it when it rains everytime. .externally grateful for video. Wish me lots of luck

Thank You, I've had my 92 2 door Yukon since new and didn't know that👍 I'm thinking mine should be the same. I was really thinking it was the A/C drain clogged which I can't find.

Can you do a video about 2004 trailblazer repair for the power window? The cable broke. The motor was fine. Gaining skill to replace the cable in the system would be a great video...
