  • Hey guys FatBuddyCat here and I've been extremely busy but managed to squeeze a quick ride in on a 2022 Honda Metropolitan. I have multiple engines I'm working on and will be back with more mini bike content as soon as I can!! Have a safe holiday and look forward to hauling some major grass!!

      Smooth and dependable! My family enjoys taking it out for rides. I typically take my ct70 clone, but sometimes a scooter ride around the back roads is what's in order.

    I have the exact same scoot. It’s my ONLY vehicle - I commute 32mi per day on it at a whopping 38mph lol. I absolutely love the thing. I got rid of my Harley because I stopped riding it when I got my metro.

    • @fatbuddycat

      I like a few different Harley's but I prefer mid size dual sport bikes. My TBR7 is a hoot to get around on. Might grab 72 pushing it but rides beautiful from 35-55.

      I have a 2019 model with the exact same color too. I absolutely love it and also use it for daily commute even during the winter. It has over 13k miles now but engine still feel like it was when I bought it with just 60 miles on the odometer. I recently had to replace the belt as the width was so worn that it tops out at 32mph at over 7500 rpm when it should be around 6200 rpm. Needless to say this also reduce the gas mileage greatly.
      My friend also recently bought one and he changed the roller weights to the slider type by Dr pulley. He said it improves the acceleration and also add 2mph to his top speed.

    I had an 84 Honda spree & I think an 89 aero
    & they were the best most stable safest ride ever . I could hang infinite wheelies, reach over the front & touch the tire reach back & touch the ground ,slow circle wheelies one handed, drift em on wet grass & ice without taking my feet off the deck. & it was all super easy to do unlike every other bike I tried to learn how to stunt on . I beat them full throttle all day every day & they took it for years no problems ..

    • @fatrobdouble
      @fatrobdouble Před rokem

      similar motor, but not the same.... the Ruckus got the GET2, carbureted water-cooled and top-mounted; the original Metropolitan (up to 2009) had the same motor but with a shorter tranny-case for the smaller wheel/tire. But these new Metropolitans got the AF74E, which is fuel-injected, water-cooled and bottom-hung, so you can't really swap them; these got higher compression ratio and stuff too, more efficient. But a lot of the GET2 tech did make it to the AF74, like the alternator being reversed to pull double-duty as the starter, and having a little radiator and fan built into the motor itself....
