Drummer, Roger Taylor, unbelievable voice, never gets enough recognition.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
RIGHT he has incredible skills in singing...
Ditto
Easily one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
‼️‼️🙏🏽🙏🏽
Some may say the best….. and I would agree
The label Legend is used a lot, but for absolute sure, Freddie Mercury is a Legend!
🙏🏽🙏🏽
If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice that the second time Freddy jumps up from the piano and he and Roger ( the drummer) interact a bit with the audience, Brian May walks to the back of the stage. He had broken a guitar string, and the other band members just improvised until he had replaced it and returned to the stage. True professionals!
And that ladies and gentlemen is how you knock a live performance out of the ball park
🔥🔥🔥
The best band and frontman/singer EVER!!!!!
NO ONE WILL EVER MATCH FREDDIE!!!
He's one of one!!!
🐐
Incredible performance by all of the band on this one. Freddie totally nailed it. Thank you for your reaction.
So good!
That’s so STRONG MAN WOW I’m 62 from Montreal,,that was the music we have in those days thanks GOD !😂
Amazinggf
Shout out to Roger Taylor's drumming and vocals... Doesn't miss a beat ❤❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️
Who Wants to Live Forever, live is Budapest will give you shivers. Freddie at his best.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
Awwwww, I loved your reaction and I totally agree. I gotta say, Freddie has made me cry many times with that voice. I’d love to see you react to more songs of theirs. I highly suggest reacting to the official music video for this song. It’s incredible, and it shows how well the group harmonizes together. I would also suggest the song “save me” Montreal, 1981, white queen, live at Hammersmith, 1975, and react to Queen live aid 1985. They have so many incredible songs and videos, but these are some of my favorites. Another one is you Queen, you take my breath away, live at Hyde Park.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️‼️
My Dad died in 2021 and we loved Queen. X Thank you xxx
RIP to your dad🙏🏽❤️
PURE BLISS...your sensitivity does not need any explanation...enjoy Queen's kingdom ...hugs from France
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@StaxReacts welcome
Your reaction was something special to watch thank you ❤The greatest rock band in history awsome amazing unique and Freddie the greatest showman ever if you can watch queen live aid at Wembley stadium you will not be disappointed
I’m so happy you enjoyed
You are not alone with that emotion. It’s Freddie magic. Honestly, it’s actually hard for me to watch sometimes. I CANNOT get thru a live video of Freddie without the tears flowing. I honestly cannot. Not since the day he died. 💔
But seeing the younger generations, born well after he left this earth, listen to him for the first time… it’s so amazing. Great reaction. ♥️
Thank you so much
No apology Is necessary... That's what good music is supposed to do to you
This was special to watch. It was heartwarming to see that after over 40 years, their music can still move people. 🥲 Fred and the boys have that effect on the heart and soul. 💌
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Plenty more queen to do young man!! I’m 77 & still a Queenie!!!I think you would really like Cool Cat it’s a great track!!🎼❤️🎹🎼🇬🇧🇬🇧
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
Cool Cat by Frsddie is fantastic and a hidden gem along with White Queen at the Odeon Hammersmith 👑🌈🫶💙
@@deborahallen3318 have you heard Roger & Jeff beck Say it’s not true…..magical!!❤️🎼❤️🇬🇧
I absolutely love Cool Cat ❤❤
This is from Queen rocks Montreal 1981 it's an entire full concert film available on CZcams and the whole show kicks ass. They were in their absolute prime. You should check it out if you liked that.
Amazing
I saw the IMAX version of this that came to movie theaters a month or two ago. It lifted the performance to a whole new level.
This is the perfect live performance. Under pressure live from Wembley stadium is fire. Every Queen performance is fire❤😂
Four instruments.
Five microphones.
Four brilliant musicians.
No auto tune.
LIVE!!!
This kind of raw talent, may not exist anymore😮🤔???
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What a beautiful reaction ❤ You are a sensitive beautiful person. ❤ Queen are legends
Thank you ❤️
It's so rewarding to see someone get awed in the presence of divine artist for the first time.
Good for you, even a little bit jealous, I wish it was my first time as well
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I cry every time I watch this. I love you and miss you Freddie. RIP ❤❤
RIP🙏🏽❤️
👏👏👏 Thanks for this emotional reaction, you made my day.
Freddie was a huge fan of Aretha Franklin, and he wrote this song as a tribute to Aretha. Queen was a uniqe rock band, because they wrote their songs in very different genres from metal to jazz, to pop, etc. music (cca. 200 songs) and Freddie Mercury could sing all of them effortless, though he was an untrained singer, never took singing lessons.
Thank you so much
My first concert as a kid. Queen was AMAZING!!!
Amazing
Ahhhhh I’m so glad you did this one. It’s perfection.
I’m sure it’s already on your list but in case not, do their full performance at Live Aid. It’s another great performance.
Great suggestion!
Up
By far, this is the best live performance. The only thing that comes close is all the other live performances by Queen. Thanks for going down the Queen rabbit hole. You will not regret it. Thank you also for such a great reaction. Don’t fret about the tears. I’m 61, and have loved Queen since my teen years, and a few songs get me teary-eyed too. Can you do my favorite Queen song…”Don’t Stop Me Now”?
Thanks for sharing your reaction 🎉 this performance is epic and people will be listening to Freddie and Queen in a million years ❤
That’s a fact, thanks for the support
music is an amazing thing ain't it?
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
I love watching reactions by people who have never heard Queen. 💛💛💛💛
So amazing 🙏🏽
Best live performance. So epic
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great reaction ❤❤❤❤ I always cry too❤❤❤
Thank you so much
Freddie knew how to work an audience!!
Factsss
The greatest live performance of a song there will ever be, over 40 years from this epic recording and no one has come even close to it.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
I love reaction videos, and wade through dozens and dozens of random people's channels who stare blankly into the camera while a video plays, then at the end they say, "That was really good. Like, comment and subscribe!" I'm always thrilled to find someone who not only understands the assignment, but is damn good at it. I've been enjoying your Beastie Boys reactions, and this one was absolutely brilliant. Please don't ever apologize for showing any type of emotion in your work; the whole purpose of music (or any art) is to communicate an idea or feeling. You are not only sophisticated enough to receive that message but also mature enough to share your deep felt, honest reaction. Well done, sir.
I have happily liked, commented, and subscribed! Looking forward to watching what you come up with next.
Woww Tracy thank you so much, this comment made my day🙏🏽
Best reaction ever. Thanks for sharing. This song means so much to Freddie Mercury and Queen fans. Freddie said it was his most favorite song he had written. It was heavily influenced by Aretha Franklin and church gospel sounds. To see it still affects people almost 50 years later is a testament to Freddie and Queen. Thanks for reacting.
Thank you so much
Yes! An amazing reaction to an amazing performance! You nailed this one, Brother! His performances ALWAYS get me. Best fromtman that ever lived in my opinion.
Thank you brother 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dude, I was a huge Queen fan back in the day! Freddie's voice is just freaking awesome, no one, NO ONE matches his talent!! React to "Killer Queen" by Queen one day!!!
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
NO ONE … ever !!
Love your reaction! This performance ranks high in greatness. I cry sometimes when I watch their Live Aid performance. Four extremely talented musicians with the greatest frontman/singer ever ❤️
Thank you, I’ll check it out
Freddie's voice is so captivating. 🎶🎵🎶
He sings from the heart and his soul.
We are all here for you Stax. 🔥🔥🔥 Much love .🤗
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️
I saw you recently graduated from Mississippi State congrats 👏 since you are a man who appreciates education google the guitar player Dr. Brian May. It will give you a whole new level of admiration.
Thank you so much
I said this in your last Queen reaction, but doubling down here - I'm looking forward to you discovering how many Queen songs you know...like Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love..to start.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great music can be very emotional. Great that you appreciate it
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
absolutely loved your reaction to this. Queen and Freddie do it to us, don't they? 😀🧡
Glad you enjoyed!!!
Ты отличный парень, Stax, и нам нравятся твои реакции. Respect from Russia
Thank you it so much Anton ❤️
LEGENDS! 🥰🎶Only Freddy & Elvis have that POWER & connection with their audience 🔥
🔥🔥🙏🏽
One of my favourites performance Thanks
‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥
I love your reaction! ❤️ Freddie still gives me chills and tears ❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed thank you
Freddie was a gift from god!
R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
WE HEAR YOU SINGING FROM HEAVEN
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️🔥
it's so beautiful that you're so in touch with your emotions 🌸
Thank you hope I appreciate you❤️
Freddie is the BEST front man ever. So much passion. His vocals, his stage presence and with the guys behind him backing him....100% unmatched! It's been said many times but Queen Live Aid 1985. It's probably he best 20 minutes of music ever performed live...ever.
Much love and Pure Vida Bro!
Thank you brother
Best reaction 😉🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much 🙏🏽
The greatest band of all time in my opinion. There will never be another Freddie and Brian, Roger and John completed him. They are all so talented. How good is Roger Taylor’s voice ??!! He’s fantastic ❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
Makes me cry also
Grew up with Queen. Miss TRUE talent.
Factssss
Why do you do this to me ???? I don’t know you. But I know queen. 😂😂😂 and I now know of for this reaction and love the fact how you vibed to it. Love from 🇬🇧 ❤
So amazing thank you
Thinking of Freddy Mercury, his life, and enormous talent always makes me cry. RIP A LEGEND
🙌🙌
Please listen to same concert but the song is Save Me. Brian at the piano with his guitar on his lap while Freddie knocks it out of the park and then takes over the piano as Brian brings it home. Welcome to the Queen fan club.
I’ll check it out
If you look closely at 5:08 you will see Freddie look back to where Brian has gone to the rear of the stage to fix a problem with his guitar, which is why Freddie keeps up the audience connection until at 5:40 he looks back to check on Brian again, sees he's coming forward to resume his place and continues with the main song. So seamlessly done you'd hardly notice. That's professionalism!
Yep, he broke a string and went to the side of the stage to fix it - and you would *never* know, it all flows so well.
hey man ....good to see my generations music living on when we are gone !
🔥🔥🔥
❤ love your reaction
Thank you so much
Freddie would have loved your reaction, he put his heart and soul into every performance and they never gave the same exact performance twice. They had an unspoken language between them so with just a glance they could follow Freddie's improvisation and not miss a note. Welcome to Queen, enjoy your journey 👑
Thank you so much 🙏🏽
That was the best reason to interrupt a video ever. Good for you. All music is meant to make us feel something. 💜
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Its OK that music gets you in your feels. Pink Floyd great gig in the sky is a must. Gets me in my feels everytime❤❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I’m still recovering from the IMAX experience recently
Your genuine review & response is so appreciated
We share tears 😅of joy with you & one another ❤
Greetings from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️
Another great reaction Stax. There is nothing like the power of music to get the emotions flowing. You should check out Queen's performance at Live Aid. You should also check out George Michael's tribute to Freddie singing this same song with the remaining members of Queen.
I know that’s right!!!!!
Loved your reaction to this incredible performance
💙🔥
Hard to beat that one no matter what your primary music interest
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️
My dude STAX has now covered two of my favorite Legends in two totally different fields -
1) in Basketball, Larry Bird, aka Larry Legend
2) and in music the legendary QUEEN , fronted by the greatest of all time, the incomparable Freddie Mercury.
[ By the way, my username is inspired by Queen’s bassist John Deacon (nickname: Deacy or Deaky) … in this video, he’s the one in the all-blue outfit ]
🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️
remember they sound this good LIVE and in the 80's before Auto tune was even thought of... no one and i do mean no one or no group today sounds this good live....
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
It’s ok. Sometimes music will get you emotional when you aren’t expecting it. Thanks for sharing that and your reaction!
Thank you so much
Amazing that you are so moved by Freddy's amazing passion (and of course the whole band- especially Roger Taylor on drums and vocals). This was a lovely reaction and you have excellent insight into these exceptional artists. I have loved your Beastie odyssey! Keep your standards high!!!
I think you would really like Janis Joplin and one of her best is the live version of Ball and Chain (Monterey Festival). Another one is the live version of Cry Baby. You might also like Amy Winehouse - maybe start with Back to Black (the official music video) and then the acoustic live version of Valerie. 💘
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️
God Bless you young man, I feel you for sure. You won't find anything better, IMHO.❤❤
Ik that’s right
Superior reaction, good insight, love your emotional response.
Thank you glad you enjoyed
FYI
Freddy had a four octave range
Absolutely one of the best reactions I’ve ever seen! Thank you! You’re a joy- keep feeling the music! subbed!
Wow, thank you!
Roger Taylor just kills it on vocals and drums.❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽‼️‼️
White Queen at the Odeon. Instrumental section is awesome
🔥🙏🏽
you gotta check out "its late" one of Queens most underrated songs. Full of emotion.
🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just…..thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome
You should also watch the official video for this song. Thanks for reacting ❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Stax felt that one
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
The God of the Music...Mr. Freddy Mercury
🙌🙌🙌
Man, You feel it... Saludos desde Argentina
💙💙💙
Great reaction ! You have great taste if you like this. The fact that it affected you means you know how to listen to music , not just hear it !😊
I appreciate that
Hello from Cody Wyoming 😊you're awesome keep it up...all are welcome to the rabbithole of Queen
Awesome! Thank you!
My favorite Queen song EVER! This performance is PERFECT .. But ya gotta check out the live version at Milton Keynes 1982 & FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS! Fire in the Bowl. 🔥🔥
🔥🔥‼️‼️
Yes that song came from Freddie's heart
Amazing
As Dave Grohl said, “ If you want to know how to be a rock star study Freddie Mercury.” Also Queen was made up of four highly educated guys that all were multi-talented and could play multiple instruments, write songs, perform songs differently to keep them fresh at concerts and experiment with all kinds of music in their albums. This made them one of the great rock groups of all time. I feel so lucky to have been able to see these guys live. It was a transformative experience. The energy and connection is unmatched.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Loved this MF song sense Happy Feet 🔥😤
🔥🔥🔥
You’re not the first one to cry to this brother ! Great reaction
I appreciate that
Great reaction xxx
🙏🏽🙏🏽💙💙
Great reaction! New subscriber! ❤️✌️
Awesome thank you!
Give it up for Roger Taylor hitting those high notes while drumming 😮
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
Loved your reaction!
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice. New sub from South Africa 🇿🇦
Welcomeee
Great song!
Queen, Metallica, Beasties, you are drinking the music of my late teens early twenties. So much good music from that time frame. Keep digging
❤
‼️‼️🙏🏽
We still miss him so much. The memorial concert in 1992 kicks 5011 different forms of ass. everybody was there, George Michael, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, the who(?) it was the most beautiful, heartbreaking, wholesome, badass tribute concert right up until the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in 2022.
🙏🏽
